Finally managed to do the left golems corner, and now continued for the next one with the 'american sandwich' (or whatever it's called).
But of course I got only 1 lock left.. (first image)
So I am wondering what will minimize the damage, either:

• Using the smithy and golems and locking the inner smithy in the red section
• Not using the smithy/golems and just locking the first smithy, potentially risking destabilizing the golem.

I think option 2 might be better, but in the simulator I see that it might not let me put the smithy (last image), so wanted to double check before I progress as I fcked up twice before.

So your corner golem is at risk and you'll need more locks. Hopefully you'll get them in your run. Ultimately you'll need up to 4 locks to keep what you wanna keep.

The simulator is so bad with golem chains that it's hard to replicate the build you need to do. In this case I would prioritize locking the corner first and then outwards from there. You really need to protect the 1st smithy too because I don't think you can place it again with 2 golems and/or armoury.

You can apply locks after running temple, but before closing. If you are already at that point, I would lock the corner or the smithy after and go from there.

Basically was wondering which one to lock yeah, I think I might lock the golem and if the smithy gets destroyed I'll just do a roman road to the smithy and be done with it

in my warrior (titan) or druid (shaman), when i got it i build "heavy stun" bar, and when the bar gets full im stunned.
With my ranger (pathfinder) that bar never fills and never get stunned.

in POE1 you have a passive for stun immune, but not in POE2.

It may be more a bug. Iirc rhoa-mounted deadeyes were having the same benefit of almost no stun buildup because it recovered so fast.

I think it goes like this, but sulo is awful at golem chains and developer hasn't fixed it since they stopped playing.

If not, you might have to back up and do it like this.

Both ways won't let you place golem in last slot because of sulo programming. But in game it usually works.

I'm planning to follow fubgun's strat not to use the Roman road, in his video he said three locks will do, just lock the 2 smithys and golem works, red circles. Thought it was fixed, but alas.. Anyone have a successful method of fixing a prism of belief so that it actually adds dps? bought one, it adds a spell level to comet, but acts the same as an empty jewel slot when equipped. no stat affect at all. I've tried relogging, moving jewel position, uneqipping spell, etc. no such luck. I've read that it IS in fact working, just not showing up in game. but as far as I can tell with crude boss tests, that isn't the case. Right now its basically very expensive dead weight.

because poe1 just had a pretty strong league and poe2 league is super old rn as we are only a few weeks away from the old one

most fun is personal pref but if you started with poe2 you probably wont enjoy going to poe1

No. You really can't work on a 2nd chain. 1st you won't have enough locks to sustain both chains. 2ndly, you will end up looping or blocking yourself while trying to do Russian tech.

lol. i mean they already removed harbys from poe1 so the return of them in poe2 is unlikely. I really think they're going to stick with the tried and true mechanics that have been core in poe1 for sometime.

I predict it'll be something like beastiary or a revamped archnemesis. I think Harvest is too close to "crafting benches" that they're staying away from. I could maybe see a synthesis or settlers type league also.

It wouldn't surprise me if we get ToTa this league either. That is more or less in the game already with a4. and it's been mostly confirmed to be a 3rd way of ascending

I have a question on full temple. Would it make sense to switch out corruption chamber for a Alchemy Lab? On the highlighted blue, i switched out that corruption chamber for a Alchemy lab and I've been more lucky with getting Lock medallions.

While this may be placebo and pure RNG trolling me.... I find that keeping your locks full at 6 while running the temple helps with more locks dropping. Also putting a lone Spymaster (level 1) to the right of entrance (where you have the generator in your image) - or a Spymaster in your chains that is not level 3, helps with a lot more locks dropping. I am now getting 4 locks to drop each run while having my medallions full (no matter what medallions, just have them at 6 while running temple - then get rid of what you don't need and pick the dropped locks after you complete temple).

And I came close to zero locks a few times before I was doing the above tricks.... And yes the level 3 Alchemy Lab does drop Locks with decent consistency. I have 6 Alchemy Labs level 3 in my temple, and they have dropped more locks than Spymasters for me, and probably saved my temple a few times from destabilizing.

it registers the moment your game client synchronises with their server, you can for example change zones right after you put the item up, and it should then show up on trade immediately, without that 30sec delay

so the delay is on your end not on the trade websites

you gotta do the trials again and at the end of it u can respec it but u have to have some gold on you since it requires gold

You have to rerun the highest completed ascendancy trial you've finished. For you that's the 2nd.

Once you finish, talk to balbala or trialmaster and refund ONLY ascendancy points. Then interact with ascendancy altar and option to change ascendancy should show up

how do people do end game maps (waystone) repeatedly? for example in poe1, if you like a certain map layout like beach or dunes, you just keep running that map by inserting a map and running it. here once a node is finished i cant click on it anymore?

yes thats pretty much it, there is a unique tablet that can let you run a map twice, but thats it

you don't really have the option to spam the exact same map over and over, so instead people just have a list of good map layouts that they're fine to run, and you just do them one by one, expanding your atlas

I guess I'm confused. Poe2 pretty much explicitly removed the ability to run the same map repeatedly from poe1. You can run grandprojects to reveal more map to find your favorite tilesets, but you'll have to run unfavorable ones eventually

some people just spam grand projects and only run good layouts, others have a backup farm strategy specifically for pathing through bad maps
