Hello, I am having a problem in Sky Beta 0.26.0 version, when I want to buy cosmetics and when I touch the icon to get a season mission and when I am in the wardrobe to try the cosmetics, I get an error and I have a lot of crashing problems in events too. Is there anyone who can help me?

Editing the mask is tougher than I thought I worked on something for so long only to dislike it and scrap the whole thing

I do genuinely like the black mask a lot more, but I feel edits are rarely used now so we'll see if tgc does anything with the mask (hopefully for the better and not like passage mask that got super lumpy and scares me )

Also thank you @/greyowlet22 for the editing compliment if you look closely you can see on the mask at the bottom of the jaw where I got lazy and there's some bleed from the overlays that make a dark black line there

Fair. I just wanted to match the poster and personally just like black better on both since I can match better than the full blue outfit with what I feel comfortable wearing.

I also think the white mask looks awkward imo rn as it is but that could change if they decide to edit it. Also aren't the rhythm masks a majority light blue? Not white?

Honestly I also think the top of the head being a different color while the rest is white is what throws it off for me. Feels like a bald spot somehow 💀 so if it stays white I'd like for them to either change that spot or put the color more on the lower half of the mask more.

Tbh to me the blue on top is like the countershading on the marine animals such as the orcas, penguins and some seals, where the top half of their body is darker than the lower half. So the blue top is like that and I think it makes sense as a seahorse mask. Plus the white part makes the gold stand out as nicely as it is on black

Because normally players should be alone in the server while doing quest 1 (#beta-announcements) - so if that isn’t the case, I highly recommend bug reporting it. To solve it though, turn on airplane mode!

About the Quest 1 bug

I was also stuck during the quest. I tried to find a workaround and what I did worked, I'm not sure if it works for anyone else thought but give it a try!
Simply fail one note when you're learning a sheet during Quest 1 and then it should continue progress

i saw a video of someone reliving this spirit for 3rd quest and it does mark as a quest complete when the cellist kicked them out of the void, I feel it's intentional? But yeah it's not clear what it means but it's a very interesting scene

You could complete the third seasonal quest in the previous build if you had the skip cutscene toggle on. The last piece of the memory seems to be part of a bugged skippable cutscene and auto-skipping made it work.

The part where the quest gets stuck is between the cellist emoting no and the yeeting. I got sent outside of the memory and stood beside the spirit husk while there is supposed to be one last memory to be found after the cellist said

No actually that happens with or without the skip toggle on, if you leave the app and return you can just go to the guide and finish the quest - when you get kicked from the area the quest completion noise happens so I think it's just a bugged/not finalised transition

You're meant to play the sheet on the piano in the void, to summon cellists spirit for you to relive (similar to the regular spirit relives)
The warp icon is a placeholder for the spirit relive and expression icon

The reasoning was that the white hair is already a significant foundation for sky world's aesthetics, it has its own significance that it represents the players themselves regardless of what they are. Tgc wouldn't change the basic foundations of Sky, they wanted to add a little bit of fun into it

think there is a bug, the last scene is unable to complete then you get ported back into the realm. going home and going back to the seasonal map would help i think. that was the solution i had for a few version back

I think it goes back to what people consider valuable for ults, again I question who placed the expectations of ults was it us or was it the phrasing of an item being an ultimate reward - to me they're bonus items that are a representation of the season as a whole

It therefore doesn't surprise me to see the poster as an ult because it does represent the entire season, I also consider well it's a gift from the guide essentially and what better gift than something they personally cherish dearly - we see in the quests it is of significance to them so I'm just like aww we get our own copy

Personally don't like the poster as an ult-- even if it was made shiny or something later on... To me an item to hang on the wall doesn't feel worth an ult slot. But again that's just me. Since the spirit trees are a little odd due to them being past versions of the guide + duet partner, it seems it would be hard to make any other item replace the poster. The mask could go there, but would be a shame for f2p players to not get the mask.

Apparently they don't produce as nice of a noise but they're still pretty good and are a good standard piano for smaller homes

I was listening to the music sheet bgm again and it sounds really light. The season itself is fairly harrowing so far, it's strange having such a juxtaposition. In past seasons the sheets have really reflected the moods within the season themes, but I guess this composition would have been from before the shard eruption so it lacks the sombre mood of what we've seen so far - it gives me hope for reunion and happiness

Are you in beta yourself and have you played the quests? a lot of it does rely on having seen those for how the poster fits with the season context so I'm sorry if these are spoilers at all to you!

The poster to me represents the season and everything the spirits came to be - it is a highlight of them growing together as musicians and signifies their achievements. They started out as kids bonding over music, formed a duet, and played for their fellow spirits in Abyss. After raising funds they then travelled to Aviary where they played for a whole new audience, this is no small feat as any performer may know themselves - taking a leap into the unknown and baring your arts for strangers to see. They were welcomed to Aviary and set up a concert hall, you could say they had reached their dreams, settling somewhere and building a place solely to share their love of their music with the kingdom. We know from the third quest everything crumbled when eden erupted and we see from the season itself that the two spirits were separated and the dreams which were unfolding for them have been shattered. We don't currently know what's happened to separate the cellist from the guide the way they have been, but it is evident that the guide is alone and misses them. We see them often look at the poster - maybe in hope, in heartache, whatever they feel, it is a clear and powerful symbol for their relationship and for the season.

The guide would likely cherish such a thing if there is no way of cellist returning, much like we would hold onto things that remind us of people we care for in life. That's why I think it's such a significant item and that it makes sense to be a guide's gift.

Also sorry if I caused any confusion, what I mean about the pass having perks and being valuable to me is that it is not just the ults we get (again I feel those are bonuses), but we have the luxury of more candles, many of which we will get to convert after the season ends, we get access to all season items in the season and don't have to wait years for them to return, we have years of "exclusivity" until said items return (which I don't particularly care for personally, but each to their own!),as well as the ults and the pendants. It's a package thing for me of why the passes have value

But again I know not everyone will agree!

If posters do fill in for where the emote levels would be then it's not bad, but they do really feel like filler. Getting a poster instead of something useful just gonna feel mildly disappointing

Either way there's still other items that aren't present in the trees I wonder what it will be like when finalised

Nothing in beta is finalised, don't take it as is. If you have any feelings about it, do feedback the word ugly is a bit too strong word, it is indeed drab but it fits with the humble origins of the spirits perfectly

tbh if we don't have any furnitures in the new seasons, there wouldn't be more item variety for nests and that makes nests a rather useless investment, I really like the idea of season themed furnitures to add flavour into our nests

Looked at the current trees, and it's like two outfit pieces per mannequin, with one to two nodes for posters.
Half the tree being posters kind of sucks actually

I wish there was a second mask. The purple cape has scales on it so I could imagine a mask for a creature with scales, or even a slight tweak of the seahorse mask with a colors that match the purple… I see on the poster the second spirit is maskless though so maybe they will only have one mask
