there are two kinds of fixes TGC does: hotfix, and backend fixing

hotfix is an actual patch that you have to download to resolve issues in the game. They will usually have a helpshift post alongside detailing all the changes that were made (the important ones)

backend they will just straight up say the issue is resolved and doesn't involve you downloading anything at all, they resolved it without it

It's a term in french! it basically means "that's life" and that you shouldn't stress over or worry about things that are out of your control!

Maybe they could keep the maps and the “x marks the spot” flags, but have a harder optional version of the hunt you can complete for extra wax. Like the easy, medium, and hard difficulty ratings on shared space Challenges. Harder versions could have multiple dig spots across the map that all have flags marking them, and you need to check the map the Spirits show you to make sure that the spot you found is the right one.
That way, you have to pay attention to the map and the geography instead of just “find flag and dig here.”

Scavenger hunts where we look for clues to get the treasure would be fun like markings in the sand or more crabs around one spot

I joined sky when it first came out but I switched to Aviary nearly immediately because I just.... liked it visually. It's very pretty to me. And I just never really attached myself to old home I guess. It was just the spawn point to me.

Definitely not a crazy suggestion! I know lots of players would like this as an option, but in the past tgc have said they don't intend to add a light all function since daily lights are meant to be meaningfully exchanged between our friends. You could always leave your wishes in #🐛submit-bugs-and-feedback in any case!
