i think its just the way the cape lays on the skykid model? when flying it probably looks a bit better but the shape of the shoulders kinda slumps together with the rest of the cape and makes your skykid look like an inky tumbleweed lol, its a really cool cape but i think ill wait for next year to buy it (for me personally!)

Good question! My 4th year of working here has recently passed too.
I'm currently in QA and the big TLDR of my role includes helping with documentation, analyzing production scope in in the lens of QA (from seasons to small content updates), investigation and creating/executing testing for new changes/new content that affects the game. My position is pretty unique in where QA is in production: we extend our communication line to the other departments in order to gain a better line of progress and visibility in planning, scope, and discussions around what changes are going on.
Generally the culture has shifted a a good bit as more people are now at TGC compared to when I initially joined back in late 2021, but my QA companions and the many co-workers I interact with on the regular I've grown very close with- I feel like that's something I take for granted sometimes with my previous jobs. With the general experiences of being in a growing indie company/studio, the atmosphere feels a lot more quiet than other studios I know because most of us are introverted lol.

For video game related QA experience Beta Testing and bug submissions from Alpha/Beta rounds in other games is good experience to mention/gather that does a decent job segway-ing into a few QA responsibilities.
It doesn't always have to be video game related either! For example I did a lot of volunteering in libraries prior to being at TGC, those skills come pretty handy in the context of other forms of organization and output. There's other regions of working in production based roles that align pretty well with Video Game QA, especially if in office settings you have experience with industry standard sites/tools.
Even in blue collar jobs! Welding for example is such a good example of using QA and having to go through QA analyzing for safety and feedback when learning skills.

There is actually a way to see if company is wanted first, there's Do Not Disturb spells available by Sleepy Traveler's Boat at home or in the Forgotten Ark (hope this isn't too much a spoiler ) The spell will warn your friends before they join you as well as display a DND above your head

I have a different perspective on fomo in sky you might find interesting. I started playing a little over a year ago now, and as a moth I had really felt I had missed out on so much of the game discovering it this late. One of the things that really got me into the game when I started playing was exploration, the game being 5 years old at the time meant there was a lot more to explore than if I had joined in the early days.
Honestly? I'm not sure I would have grown to like the game as much as I do now if I joined back then, I probably would have quit just as you had 4 years ago . I think there's something cool and unique about my experience joining the game when I did, it's different than the experience of my vet friends. You have the unique experience of a returning player. Cosmetics aren't everything

Honest question, how yall who play on the computer fly on that thing???? I downloaded it to get the cube and OMG I was back in time when I was a little moth and didn’t know how to play

For me: WASD for movement, shift for quests, tab for flight mode while flying, space for flying up.

alternatively I use a mouse, left key for flying while right key changes flight modes took a while for me to adjust to be fair at first I kept randomly honking and moving weirdly until I started getting better

Tbh, after switching from phone to pc, I began comfortable with pc.
