There’s two types of shards:

• Black Shards, these ones give a reward of 200 wax after clearing all the darkness.
• Red Shards, these ones have a meditation circle after clearing the darkness, which you need to sit down in to join the light collecting activity & upon completion, you’ll be rewarded with AC. The reward varies for each shard, with 2, 2.5 and 3.5 AC depending on the classified “difficulty”. They also have a random memory of 6, though for you they’ll be in order until you’ve finished the Shattering quests, each memory has a single WL.

Potential spoilers for new players who want to experience it for themselves during the next season! So what I gathered is,
|| - Resh, aka King, possibly aka Aleph, falls from the sky as one of the first Children of the Light in Isle ||
|| - We don't know if Resh and Aleph are the same or not, but the most popular theories are that they were best friends, brothers, or Aleph is a younger Resh, but I'll call him/them Resh always for consistency ||
|| - Ushering Stargazer (I think Candlemaker, too, but idk-) finds Resh and adopts him ||
|| - Resh turns out to be some kind of chosen one, from before the spirits first arrived from fleeing some kind of fight and built the kingdoms ||
|| - Resh completes the trials of the Cave of Prophecies and later goes on to become the King of Eden ||
|| - Darkstone is created, but they need to harvest the power of light creatures to work ||
|| - Two sides begin fighting, one that wants to advance darkstone technology and another that wants to free the light creatures; the Elders take different sides, but it seems Wasteland Elder (can't remember their name) was originally on Dark before switching to Light ||
|| - Resh tries to compromise by building a huge darkstone to harvest enough energy that no lives will ever have to be sacrificed again, but either the Megabird gets angry or something goes deeply wrong in a malfunction ||
|| - Either way, the Diamond shatters, creating the Eye of Eden and the storm: No one near it survived, including the Elders that tried to save and stop Resh, and the rest of the Spirits follow them in death later ||
|| - An undefined amount of time later, the Megabird feels sorry for all the lives lost, and sends us, the Descendants/Skykids to help rebuild the kingdoms while also slowly reviving spirits||
|| - The Children of the Light we gather are linked to Resh somehow, I don't know how ||

Unfortunately you kinda can’t do compensation when some people did get their stuff for the day and some didn’t, since doing it case-by-case would be pretty time consuming. The result of just giving everyone “missed” season candles & candles is that those who were still able to play and get their candle run & dailies done will get extra, which would come off as slightly unfair.

also some things to note with regards to days of music:

• it is day one of the event
• there's only one thing available for event tickets
• you have 15 bonus tickets available to you right now + 4 each day for 14 days totaling up to 71
• you only need 50 tickets for the cape
• you can always buy more tickets from the event shops
• most of the candle items are permanent additions to harmony hall and the only thing that isn't is 50 candles
• cosmetics would most likely return next year
• the server errors are already an acknowledged issue and thus they will most likely be working to get it fixed during the day before tomorrow's reset

Name colours here, as far as I've picked up, are to allow for easy distinction between different users here

partly due to the nostalgia factor since it was my first season but also I liked the fetch quests and watching the treehouse come to life after each one

shoutout to these other seasons too:

AURORA was absolutely amazing and I loved the concert feature ngl I wish we had more in-game concerts

though I wasn't around for Sanctuary I also like their season area and the cosmetics of the spirits

probably gonna get booed off the stage for saying I liked Nesting but look man they gave me a room that i can decorate i love assembling and decorating spaces (probably also why I liked Assembly so much because they were the first instance of shared spaces)
