hi! im not defending the game developers, but i just wanted to let you know that as someone that plays mmos a ton, pretty much ALL mmos go down day one of big events. This is a very normal thing for servers to be crammed like this when big events happen. its okay to be upset! but its probably not a budget thing

To be fair offline games are less volatile in that sense, once your game is done it's gonna stay how it is

Regular programming is already super difficult - fixing one single bug can easily lead to more.
The computer will do exactly what you tell it to do, including any and all mistakes you put into the code. And, considering everyone makes mistakes, this means that everything will have bugs.

As in the devs tested it, it worked fine, they pushed the update, it stopped working

Sometimes, compiling as Debug (which includes debug symbols and doesn't have compiler code optimisations) works just fine, but then compiling as Release (where compiler optimisations take place) breaks everything.
(Has happened to me, albeit with making a mod for another game (Spore). But still, it does indeed happen.)

Also Limbus is pretty good and genuinely pretty unique among gacha games!! It’s a bit mature rated and can have a lot of violence
Just uh, the beginner experience can be rocky and I highly advise watching the gameplay tutorial by esgoo cuz Project Moon’s (the dev) tutorials are uhhh they leave a lot to be desire tbh

Also, it isnt required to play Lobotomy Corp and Library of Ruina before Limbus but it helps with a lot of background knowledge. Besides, ruina is pretty long in my experience like 100+ hours and LC is uhhhh in terms of difficulty

It helps that the very main character you pretty much play as, Dante, is an amnesiac

Yup! I guess this is like a spiritual successor of sorts. They're really solid games - Cattails alone is fun, but Wildwood Story just kind of builds on everything the first game did and makes it a whole lot better in pretty much every way.

I used to play that game a lot (Classic) and there is SO MUCH STUFF locked behind a paywall. Sure, it's cute, and it has some little interactive things to teach you stuff about animals, but the membership subscription with how many things require it is why I don't recommend it.
I haven't played AJ Classic in a few years though

My old cat Cole never took proper care of herself due to a skin condition, seizures, and extreme anxiety, so her meant to be dead claws that would shed never actually shed (since she never tugged her claws on anything) so we literally started saying "wicked claws" because her claws would pierce through skin when we got to her a vet a couple months before she passed, the vet clipped her claws, and we had gotten so used to her having sharp claws that my grandpa literally jumped and prepared to toss her back onto my bed because she crawled onto his lap 😭 she made a lot of progress when I started living here though, her skin condition got way better and eventually just turned into matts on her back which I was able to snip off over the course of like three months and she loved a song I played on piano, which I altered and made it into her song

She was a scary old thing she was also a very small cat, she didn't grow very large even when she reached adulthood

She used to take baths with us (mainly my mom) and we'd just need to hold her front and back paws still and she's just chill there and meow once in a while
My mom used to have a habit of leaving the tub full of water until we got a supposed to be foster cat and his brother, I was curious one day and pulled chip into the shower and he just completely relaxed and chilled, so I'd sit down and hold him while letting the water go onto him now my mom has to empty the tub or else chip will literally jump into it
I didn't need to hold his paws or anything, he'd just sit and purr like crazy

Grandma + whatever i got from playing normally
Slowly building up candles that way without even CRing
As for ults, it is true that it requires everything, but also season candles are from dailies, those are generally pretty short
I do agree that the way the game goes about creating grind isn't great, but there are ways as a player to mitigate it

There is an event almost every 15 days , give or take. If someone aims just one item that costs 120 candles , it would take 6 days of 20 candle grind or 12 days of 10 candle grind. If you add daily quests to the latter, it easily takes an hour , even with grandma and other easy wax farming methods. You almost need to spend at least an hour everyday.

After using one precious hour in a busy schedule,it leaves little time for socializing with friends. For those who cannot manage more, they are pretty much forced to choose between grinding and enjoying companionship.

The server is fine now, but some may got portal realms bug like I did.

But please allow me to tell you how to fix the realm portal bugs!

If you remember how to go to windpath, then you can easily go to each realms that you're missing a portal on. For example you lost Forest and Valley. You can go ahead find another entrance from the realms that's available (I went from Little Prince area) and straight ahead to windpath and to Forest and Valley temples!

For Eden you need to go to the Vault Summit to sit on the circle that can bring you to Eden!

No need to do the Eden, you can just go home!
