-you can pick up other player's lost WL so they get it back
-all elders have a name in concept art, the king has two (one for Prince and one for King)

related to the bonk hearts: you know how you have to swing little kids around so their sense of spatial awareness and balance develops correctly? i think skykids do that but up to 11 let them bonk into walls, they need to to learn how to fly

I know last season all the Meditation Dailies were bugged for me. It would say I completed them but wouldn't be able to turn it in, no matter how hard I mashed the input buttons. Back then, we had to 'delete and redo' our answers and it worked....sometimes.

most of the time they don't speak english, but that's not a problem at all (at least for me)

given that they most likely don't understand much about sky, i'd bring them to spirits and wl first, telling them to honk twice if they got it

any other route is fine but i find it more useful to lead them to the basics first (spirits and wl)

unfortunately most of my moth children are never to be seen again the next day

tips for moths as a former moth myself

save up for your favourite cosmetics !! the ones from the base constellations can be purchased anytime, as well as their emotes. i recommend getting the hearts first from the base spirits and also ts if you're unable to do heart trade w/ friends (pls don't attack me skybot)

if possible, get a friend who can guide you through wasteland. it's brutal, especially the spirits in the middle of graveyard ! only go on a solo trip once you're familiar with the krills' routes (and sufficient winged light to allow you to fly high above them as to avoid their wrath)

memorize the candles locations in each and every realm. remember, the rotations differ from one another. that way, it's much easier to go on candle runs. it will take some time, but you'll catch up just fine (this also applies to winged light locations !!)

keep yourself updated on seasonal events so you won't miss out on limited-time cosmetics and props !! (edit : don't be sad if you miss a couple of events. i missed a year worth of seasons and events, but always remember there are future events to look forward to. )

last but not least, don't go to eden alone.

i genuinely don't think i will find nicer people in sky at this point. i see things like this happen every time i log on. apparent vets purposefully not helping with doors, using laughing expressions beside me while i wait for someone else to show up. most of the time in red shard events, i have to do it all on my own despite being in a full server. they all just sit off to the side and wait for me to do it all. it's just exhausting for all the co-op features

That's very unfortunate. Not all vets are like that though, but this is really unfair to you. It's always kinda annoying to get past Vault gates, so I always try to help other players there. For shards too, as a veteran, that's really not the right way to play. We should help new players, not mock them or worse, make them do the tough work.

Rarely have I ever encountered awful players in Sky. And I think that whenever I ever do, I have low expectations on the kindness of other people because I've come from so many MMOs that treated me otherwise.

Experiencing kindness is actually a surprise for me.

Finishing Assembly with randoms is next to impossible because you need the following criteria to be met :

1. someone shows up in your server
2. that person is willing to help

Most of the game can be done on your own to be fair
I've went through the whole game and through eden, got all TS, all children of light, all quests but assembly as a solo player
It was pretty fun
Red shards can also be done solo if you're not overzealous and recharge frequently at the nearest light source : there is nothing preventing you from running away and coming back if you're in danger
Passage also has other people needed but passage actually has a system in place to make people be together for them

Multiplayer doors and Assembly are the only cases where other people are stricly required without glitches

Which btw for multiplayer door
An exploit was found where if you set a shared memory using the camera, you can make that memory open doors for anyone watching it
So don't forget to check shared memories near doors

There's also another one involving the swing prop to swing straight through the door

I’ve been stressed beyond belief and the only way I’ve been able to take a break is play and make friends. These “friends” I do make ditch me as soon as the CR is over. It’s just- idek

I see. I believe many people are busy doing CRs, WRs, and ERs with others and can't contact with you right at the moment. And I'm sorry so many people ditch you after Candle Runs.

But, please remember that there's gonna be someone who will join and/or help you! When I wasn't able to get an Uber through Eden through group live chat, I felt stressed as well. But, really, all you need is patience. A kind player will reach out eventually! And who knows! They might join you every CR or WR!

Have faith in others! We here in Sky are always being busy bodies. But, we're always here if you need us

For me another part of it is that I like chatting and hanging out, but not all the time. There was a point where I was just chilling a lot in the game, I was more receptive to chatting up people. But now when I log in, I probably have a specific goal in mind (like visiting a wax event or grabbing enough candles) and just don't have the mental space/energy or free time to chat with anyone, even close friends. That might change again in the future, but right now I'm in like, "chat off mode" if that makes sense. I'll say hi and spam the crab emote but that's about it, it doesn't mean I think any less of my friends
