||to bad that when she tries to go to Eden to help the elders get their light back she fails. Like every other kid. But she didn’t know that, she felt like she disappointed the elders, her sadness while ascending broke her soul into pieces, now she floats around in space forever saddened by being a “disappointment”||

Basically since SOME of the elders are greedy cough cough forest, so in my view they all wait for the next “chosen one” then they hype them up and tell the sky kid that they are their last hope, they all send the sky kid to Eden in hopes that the Eden shard will stop the darkness (newsflash it NEVER works) once the kid fails the Elders forget about that kid completely and focus on another, making a endless cycle of sacrificing the sky kids to try to get light back
