There was a chibi that was stuck. I didn’t want to leave anyone behind, and I was a checkpoint ahead of them, so I attempted to turn back to help them through.

Did I mention that I was a moth at that point? Literally Day 3 or 4 or so? I don’t know what I was thinking.
But when I say you can’t spend three hours in Fire Trial without learning a thing or two about it, I wasn’t kidding. Thank goodness.

I’m trying to treat 1000 as my baseline now, so while I technically don’t have to grind, I still do, because I don’t want to dip below that mark if I really don’t have to. So I’m kind of keeping my eye on my candle count and seeing what happens with the deer mask before I pick up Alchemist or Commodore’s masks.

35 is still good! It’s a start for sure, and especially if you’re a bit of a newer player. (Not sure?) I remember it took me ages to get out of the 20-30 range, until I just happened to get lucky to have 52 left by the time I finished Doublefive.

I had the ability to grind up candles. I just couldn’t maintain them until I got the right selection of spirits. So I’d end a TS weekend with just a handful left.

For Valley I almost always dress as Serena, and Daímonas for Wasteland

The way they work is : each wing buff means one more wing light you will get in orbit, with every rebirth
So for example if you bought a total of 17 locks from spirits, that means in orbit you'll have 17 spirits lined up to give you one WL each

If you haven't fought any this run, I'd recommend taking on a Lynel or three for their bows. They do three arrows at once, and and every fuse does multiply in the same way, so the scatter damage will be invaluable. (They're also a ton of help for Gleeoks.) I never fight a Gloom Spawn without at least one Lynel bow on hand.

No worries! If I recall rightly, if you're willing to chance the Depths, there are usually Lynels under stables, so use those as a waypoint if you need. There's actually a quest in Akkala that'll take you to fight a Lynel in Tempest Gulch, too, which is the only overworld one I remember.

Everyone has different goals, and perhaps because I've been creating for so very long, I have the burden and privilege of knowing what heals my art/writing, and what hurts it. When I am not moved to create, I simply sit with that and do other things that I love--like shooting photography or taking in-game screenshots in Sky. Photography has always been my second "tool" to my main craft, which is writing, as it helps enhance my observational skills in the literary space.

So yeah, living life, doing what you need to do, even if it means taking some time away from creating, is super helpful and beneficial to the actual craft.

I figured mine out through TS dates. I was here during Air Prophet’s visit in May 2022, and I ended up in the Cave of Prophecies on their last day. I think I’d played the day before, and after midnight before sleeping, so that I count as Day 1 as a collective. Day 2 was their final day - I woke up to this weird bat person in Home. So with those details, I managed to figure out that my first day playing was May 14th, 2022.

Oh yeah, I've never quite gotten the hang of swimming either. It's always been difficult for me and then all the overcorrecting gets to be a lot, which is weird, because the swimming controls are how I normally control my character when I'm walking or flying -- moving by walking forward and changing the camera angle to go where I want to go -- so I don't know why it's so weird for me with swimming.

My performance went well! I have a running character that doesn't know what they're doing
Last theater performance we did, I put boxes out for the other kids to stand on, but my character didn't know what they were meant to do and was confused. So when we did the curtain call, I was still holding a box instead of someone's hand
This time I wobbled a cat cutout onto the stage and was "late" getting it back in. I also unintentionally slipped when I meant to just stumble a bit
I hit the floor hard and my arm hurts a bit, but I had the cat cutout come out and bow instead of myself lol

I made my sister laugh though, as well as everyone who was watching, so I'm happy!

My arm and hip hurt cause I hit the floor pretty hard- it added to the character though, and I'm happy with how it went! I'll probably just have a bruise for a little lol

It was the last performance for this year so I plan to do the same next year
