i'm pretty new to game, so i don't really have any of the old spirits, so I try to max out. i know she's less worried, she's played much longer than I have. I think we usually end up playing about 2, 2 1/2 hours a day, but we also get on the phone and talk about our day or plan stuff when we're playign

i also reallllly haven't made much progress on constellations since I'm always saving for an event or for TS, which is annoying since that's stuff vets have filled out that they just can hoard candles for. the economy sink for new players is rough and they're definitely hoping people MTX for candles to catch up

Sky personally is one of the few games where my completionism didn't kick in because the goals that would imply are just pain
84 TS to do once every other week would give a minimum time requirement of 168 weeks, with constant grinding to pay for the massive prices
That's about 3 entire years of just grinding

Moths scare me- I've tries friending them but they're very hard to manage- I spent ages trying to relive the grouchy spirit in sanctuary for what looked like a moth
Only for them to use the emote after I had completed it- after that day I basically vowed to not friend any player who looked like a moth, I use the emote then spam the bow one, I try to be respectful because man that day really unmotivated me for a while

The problem is there's 84 spirits, each costing between what, 100-300 candles, andt here's a bunch that still have never had a return. If it was four spirits showing up every other week, you'd get half the spirits showing up in a year, and you could pick and choose, which would be nice.

I'm not rushing, but like, I do feel a pinch on doing CR to try to buy out spirits now so I don't have to worry later.

I imagine there are a lot of players who do buy the candle packs, i've seen moth friends suddenly have shed loads of items and cons finished in rapid time, I guess it's the fomo that kicks in. Kinda the reason I’m glad that you can’t buy ascended candles, means that getting the elder cosmetics, especially the masks, takes effort and grind, so it feels more of a rewarding item to wear

As for TS, I think we really do need group TS visits more often, but also a reduction in the TS prices so they don’t go further than 150 candles, and then they could also make normal TS visits more frequent, so one every week instead of every 2

The real problem is the candle economy is out of control. Things are expensive because TGC needs vets to burn candles to keep there being a reason to need to earn them, but the way it works practically is vets have plenty of candles while moths-6 months in feel the pinch of maybe needing to buy candle packs.

The mask is a cosmetic we call the chibi mask, it's obtained from a regular spirit
It looks like the regular mask but makes you super smol
Resize spells are consumable items that will permanently change your height by a random amount, it can be smaller or taller (this is how people manage to get taller)

You can also do geyser 4 times a day. I should note that the amount of wax you can get from grandma is dependent on if you do the turtle. You can get a max of 1000 wax from those sources.

About halfway down, there's kind of a little bit of a ledge in the tunnel your skykid might get caught on. As a small skykid, I found that if I just wiggled around, I could get myself unstuck.

Chibi mask let’s you bypass the doors, and if you have ~9 wedges you can also fly up from the third zone’s WL and hit the loading zone to skip those lanterns (beta strats)

I don’t necessarily chibi fall on the second floor. Though i don’t remember if you need to have the chibi mask, the skip there works if you go under the platform and wiggle your way up, then emote to get inside the wall. then it’s just under and up
