Hi chat! I am sometimes scared if I will make my dreams come true, idk if all of them will be possible but at least would love most of them. Do you think it is possible to fulfill your dreams? I want to be an animator and an illustrator and want to make manga and some short little animations in the future, but I have problems with keeping motivation because my perfectionism, any recommendations or maybe hugs? (idk if this is the right place to say this but since it says cozy I think in here they comfort you right?)

Remember that failure is a learning process, not a tragedy

I’d still say it’s fully possible, but it’s gonna take time, patience, and practice, just like everything else. You’ll get there immediately, no need to jump or do twirls or backflips to get there quicker.

I think the issue here is mostly the fear of failing, the viewing of it as a terrible thing to avoid
It's by making mistakes that you learn how to not make them again
It's by making mistakes you you understand more about the topic at hand

Maybe it’s that, my perfectionism wants me to not fail and every time I feel I am failing it is to me a tragedy, and gosh it really gives me quite anxiety QwQ. But hopefully with the time I’ll be able to take it easy on me and accept that making mistakes is okay, that failing is also okay and that maybe that is needed to achieve your dreams

The reason why my Skykid loves AURORA concerts is because her songs remind him of the mother he never got to know.

He was only a baby and had been sent off to Daylight Prairie after word got around that his mother and father were reported dead, though only the mother's body was found. She was hit by a Krill and unfortunately lost her life.

His father, same thing, but it's unknown if he's only severely wounded or he died upon impact. He never got found.

Instead the child was raised by the Manta and usually goes with his new mother Manta to the Valley of Triumph to see AURORA perform.

if you've been afk for 10 minutes (long enough for your skykid to lay down on its own) you stop earning wax, which was put in place specifically to stop afk farming tgc didn't remove it after they changed all the afk wax spots to spit out fireworks balls instead of pure wax so the only thing it affects now is being ubered

I'm not taking any more chances because I'm already tall in Sky

it makes me wonder why the wax areas even still exist at all because like..... you can't sleep at them for wax anymore and you can't place props too close to any of them so they aren't even good for socializing replace them with a cake or something

apparently max height is straight up impossible for some players to achieve the difference between pretty tall and max height is so negligible i stopped caring after a month of resizes

at this point i just use the adult/grow spell whenever i feel like being tall, it also makes me taller than the max height possible with resize spells

boy, i remember when i was a moth i prayed and begged to shrink using the resize spells to make up for the chibi mask i wanted but didn't have
(and of course, because i wanted to shrink at the time, i only ever got taller. i might as well have reached max height without realizing it)

same here, i rocked small height for aaages as a moth. i was juuust barely short enough to have the chibi run and now that i HAVE the chibi mask, i got tall with a resize potion and have stayed tall since, with only brief periods of being short again

i do like being short though, that height where you're too tall to chibi run but you're shorter than a moth the only reason my skid is tall is because otherwise all my masks look squished

you can stand underwater at the hot spring in dreams village! i play music under there sometimes
it's a specific spot and you need to dive, but then you'll stand and be able to do things lol. i also like afk-ing under there, people are sooo confused when they see me eeping underwater

Tgc needs a crab update. More ways to interact with friendly crabs, like them dancing along with you if you do a dance emote. Squeaks with you if you honk. You could pick them up and squeeze them like a plushy, and they will make little hearts when you do.

And you can't stun friendly crabs.

*Sigh* Yeah I've been depressed all day yesterday because of it.
I phoned our post office, the company courier service, and any other services related to it. Either the phones don't work or no one's picking up the phone and I've been phoning them for 4 hours.

I tried email, only one out of 3 sent replied then never again.

I went back to the post office, they said no one's answering the phone they're calling in and they said they'd text me. No text 3 days later.

I also phoned my older cousin who works at a courier service (although it's not the same service I used)

I'm helpless.

Literally been working on this gift package since 2021.

yeah lol i avoided wasteland completely for like a month before i built up the courage to go alone
it is nice how skykid 'culture' revolves a lot around being helped by vets and adoring them when you're a moth, and as you become more experienced you take on the role yourself

i guess it's in part because horror games are all about making you feel scared throughout, but wasteland is very juxtaposed against all the other realms in terms of fear factor (except eden ofc)

and tbf if you aren't expecting anything like wasteland at all, and suddenly these huge spiky black creatures lock onto you, bathing you in flashing red light that you instinctively know means something bad is about to happen, and then actually rushing at you and flinging you in the air, it's a pretty primal fear

I think a big part of why wasteland scared me more than any of the horror games I played is that you have no way of fighting back in Sky

the crabs you can flip over, which is "combat" - but the krills? Nothing you can do except hide. It's like early Resident Evil where the tension comes from you having limited to no options to resist monsters coming your way

So I stopped using the home button and the portals and just using the wind paths and regular realm transitioning and it really makes you think strategically! If anyone wants to try it, here's a little tip: there are no wind path entrances in the valley of triumph, so you have to come from forest or the harmony hall entrance in aviary.

Oh and to leave the valley use forgotten ark's entrance to the wind paths. Wait is there one lemme check Nvm there's one in hermit valley

If you wanna go easy on yourself you can use portals but have to first find the wind path to aviary to get there

The other challenging part is for a couple areas, once you go through, you cant go backwards. Example being both entrance to forest temple AND exit from the temple to valley.
Same applies for golden wasteland temple/vault entrance, plus, vault overall is one you can't go back at all in any of the floor levels

A while back, i actually had to use this challenge cause for a couple days, my game would instantly crash at home space. Specifically home space. as long as i ran to a realm portal as SOON as i could move, i'd be fine xD

• You cannot use the normal closets in Aviary or a social space, get creative! (Aviary shops, village theater dressing room, ect)

• You can go to Aviary from home if it glitches out/ you're on switch/pc

• You cannot use the Aviary eden portal, use the vault one instead

2. Can't use clouds/shared spaces/memories/props/etc etc etc to recharge. Only default light sources, like lamps, braziers.
   3. If you get caught in a spirit memory, you have to complete it. No skipping cutscenes
   4. If your POV gets hijacked you have to head in the direction it points you to.
