I'm outside at the mall when I just wanna stay in and draw. And I have intensive exercise class in 2 and a half hours

You could maybe change the screen settings to black and white or reduce the saturation so it's not as harsh and then when you finish colouring you can change it back?
I'd also recommend figuring out if you have blue light minimising settings at all - I know it's the red that's hurting, but blue light from screens is what usually strains the eyes most so that may help in the long term for any work you're doing?

Maybe take a bit of a rest ur brain might be tried from focusing so hard on making good arts

You could also just take regular breaks or change the colour you're using to colour, drop a more neutral shade over it and continue using that to fill whatever space you're colouring then redrop the red you want to actually use over it

My advice, have brightness on low, also for colors, do more...soft colors? Idk if this makes any sense but some colors, like bright neon green for example, can be rough on the eyes. Also if you have a headache, be sure you're drinking plenty of water

unwanted rant here but any wise sage for advice? ||hi guys wanted some advice so basically yknow transitions in a slide? my group for project work were preparing for our first dry run (basically a rehearsal) presentation and for we were in charge of different areas for slides,,,, i did transitions for my own group of slides (basically the summary) and arranged to present it very well but the others had no transitions,,, so i offered to do transitions for the rest of the slides and for my group members and they agreed ,,, but i came up with the idea too late and the group members had no time to synergise so the group leader told me to delete all of my transitions for group synergy and in case of unexpected stumbles,,,, so i asked them if i could delete transitions for the rest of the slides and just keep mine and the part i've worked with cuz it will be clearer for myself and i wont make mistakes, and since its just a rehearsal it wont appear weird as if im trying to stand out or something and it would be a great opportunity to see how good transitions actually are... so any advice? should i agree with the group leader and delete all transitions or try to keep my own part? i really dont want to delete them because i worked so hard on it... but i can understand where the group leader is coming from and i may appear like im a pick me trying to stand out...||

I'm pretty sure if they knew you were upset and stressed about it because you spent so much time on it, they would help you work towards a solution that benefits everybody.

It's not accusing you of anything. It's suggesting nicely that you bring up to your leader how you felt about doing so much hard work for nothing. Since it sounds as if you're working under a deadline, no doubt your leader simply thought this idea would save time and didn't put consideration into other factors. Stress tends to make people block out anything that isn't relevant. If you communicate with them they'll surely realize the value of your work

Yeah Forest is gonna take a little bit. I'm currently working on Forest, but I don't see myself completing it until after the New Year rolls around. With the upcoming events and season, as well as TS, the constellations are going to have to wait for a little bit. I think that’s a good idea, the Isle mask doesn’t look all that great and so you wouldn’t wear it often unless you were going into krill territory

And that's pretty good @strange spire. Don't have to worry as much about Forest. There's also the violet cape too from there though. And of course the Chibi mask, but that's a given. And yeah, I'm sitting on 746 candles right now but that's 100% gonna go down with the next events and TS

Isn't that 20 hearts? Right now, I'm counting anything 20 hearts and above as a major problem - I only have 18 right now, and it takes me a while to save up.

I also have the opposite problem - I stockpile candles like there's no tomorrow. Even looking at the constellations, it's hard to part with them.

@idle rapids That's all good! I didn't want to get it all done ay once anyhow, at least, I was mostly just wondering if I should maybe put a couple of candles towards it every so often now that I have a reasonable buffer.
I only hope these events aren't too hard on our pockets...

Yeah, and 500 is more than enough for an expensive TS too. Not sure about an expensive TS and event at the same time though, but it's still a good amount. I don't think we're gonna get that happening though after all the horror stories I heard about the candle sink that happened during TLP

For certain! I think the most expensive I've seen so far is Peeking Postman, and they were 200-odd, right? 250, maybe? At the very least, events last longer, too, so I have a little bit of extra room to get candles per day to get enough.
I certainly hope not! I fear what might happen if we get another sword pants and popular spirit one day...
