TGC didn't even compensate those of us who couldn't complete the daily quest last season, thanks to their bugs which made the quest giver inaccessible. It was floating behind a windwall in the middle of the ocean. A bunch of players including myself have sent in bug reports but nothing was done.

I'm so done supporting them monetarily. Not gonna buy season passes ever again since this keeps happening

Yup it hurts more if you bought the pass. Good thing I didn't for this season. Kinda foresaw this happening & TGC ignoring our bug reports especially if it didn't happen to 90% of the players, they won't care. If you're a minority, they'll ignore you.

But now since this update messed up most of the android devices, they'll have no way but to force themselves to look at it.

No point monetarily funding such repeated mistakes. I've learnt my lesson the hard way after naively spending so much on Sky thinking TGC will be better & actually read our bug reports.

I've given up writing bug reports too now cuz it mostly gets ignored. Way to go TGC if this is how you show your appreciation to players who've supported you for 2 years+.

Since you can obtain the items at Home Space (be it IGC or IAP), on top of that, you can do "no-brainer" candle farming at Home Space just by hanging out near the bonfire with friends and burning the shells

Same! My game rarely crashes, but since the update, I can only play through prairie without a problem. I can't play sanctuary unless I face a particular direction, and I just can't play vault altogether. I crash when I enter the river area in forest too. I haven't tried the other realms yet. Check your app version in settings > apps > Sky , the latest is 0.14.5 (174224).
If the update doesn't show up, long press Play Store from your app drawer, tap app info or the ℹ️ icon. Tap storage and cache and clear cache. Wait about 60 seconds and check the play store again for an update.
Make sure you have over 3Gb free storage too
