@proper comet samsung has a thing called game launcher, which gives you game tools such as screen recorder and you can set it to record the games audio. Idk if you have a samsung or not but you can try game launcher if you have a samsung

Sky runs on my device pretty smoothly and I installed it from playstore about a month ago...
Today I noticed that the game doesn't come up on the list if I search on play store ... ( Last time I checked during those beta waves .. it was okay at that time )

....
After that I log into play store with a browser and it says that the app is incompatible with all of my device ...
If this isn't fixed for me I won't be able to update the game in future .. :(

@tropic marlin yes it's been a bug since a long time. It's mainly because we enter the area before it's loaded into memory. Keep your graphics settings to low so that there is less data to load up and wait for like 10 seconds before entering the area to give that extra time. Works everytime for me

A small tip for anyone who's interested. One way to increase the performance when playing sky (by a small amount), is to set background processes to none and keep activities to off in the developers menu. but this essentially does is prevents background applications from running. While these two options are set you may not get notifications from apps like Discord and Facebook. Also, the weaker the phone, the greater the benefit.

The performance increase will not only be applied to sky, but to every app you try to run.

It is recommended to return the settings back to default when you're done playing.

Being on lowest definitely helps, I can vouch for that, like any other game, maps are preloaded into ram before you enter them. Less resolution, less data to load. Things like processor and ram access speed depends too.
Although, you still need to wait before entering the area too, depending on your device, i usually wait 5 seconds and I never get black screen since.

Also, turning to lowest before entering is a no go. Graphic settings take time to change. An already loaded map, or one being loaded won't be loaded again just because you flipped a switch

Android user playing on lowest graphics here: I usually lead while candle running ios friends, and I lead them through the pipes from Shipwreck as a result. Usually stopping before the pipe to talk to them about it first helps, and then walking in as slow as possible is also very useful.
I've done a solo run yesterday and with this technique I didn't crash. I think I've gotten to a pretty high streak of no crashes, just by walking in slowly and waiting a bit for it to load properly I suppose?
