Either tgc finds a way to like screen mirror gameplay without ui or they would have to try and optimize ui-less recording for as many android/ui versions as possible. But that of course would be much easier if android doesn't handle everything in one layer

The Sky Studio from App Store is a music practice tool which you can't use in Sky, but can practice and create songs. This is a legitimate app, free to use and doesn't break Terms of Service.

If there is any app that can modify, alter, create anything inside Sky realms or Sky COTL game, that is considered as against TOS, as Cookie (hi) said.

The "fail to connect" 90% refers to internet connection issues. Your partner should make a measurement on speedtest.net
If ping is higher or download is lower than 30, it means they have internet access but it's not strong enough for a live game like Sky.
Restart router, try on different connection or call internet service provider because something changed in the connection chain or internet service

I don't know if this is supposed to go here and I know I'm super late but a few days ago I joined the AURORA concert and it was very laggy since there were so many players my game crashed 3 times. One time right before the end of the concert and when I managed to come back it was over. Messing too much with DPI or any other settings in the developer mode might get you in trouble. I had to reset my phone because it was unable to revert back to the original DPI after i changed it, the phone is usually calibrated to give the best user experience so its not very good to tweak unless you are facing a particular problem

If the game engine would work as you think, you would be right. For several reasons we don't know, the areas are loaded at once not where you turn the view. And again: (I have no idea why measuring GPU usage with unreliable apps because they aren't 100 percent perfect but) your measurement app might be wrong because Sky uses unique engine and works differently, it can make measurements off.

It is common knowledge that sky is horribly optimized in the vast majority of android devices, but gpu usage is not that big of a deal, in demanding games like sky, you actually want most of the phone resources to be allocated into the app to provide a smooth experience. And having a high gpu usage doesn't immediately translate to actually having that gpu doing any "heavy" lifting really. It could be just pre loading assets, textures,etc.
I haven't checked yet, but with dev options enabled, you can see quite a bit of info regarding hardware behavior while playing sky. I would only worry if the game is making your cpu thermal throttle, at that point, either the game really hates your phone or your phone is getting somewhat old.
And while the game's engine is kind of a mystery, it could be related to an engine developed by sony quite a while ago, primarily for consoles, though compatible with pretty much all platforms.
Same engine used in Gravity rush, which i find amusing.

My game connection kept on acting up. It's been 3 times

I play all daily quests, grab some candle waxes, and emote-greet some strangers. After done with dailies (all completed and checked) and about to grab my reward, it won't gave me the SC rewards, and when I tried relogging in, the quests were NOT in completed state.

The weird thing is, before I reloged, player I lit were seen as regular moth, but their movements are like regular connected players. I greet strangers with salute, and the they responded with usual head bow.

After relog, bam, those quests were NOT registered as completed, but players back to normal. Idk what happened to rest of my candle waxes that I collect.

I happen to face this problem from time to time and it resolves with disabling google play services. Go to apps and select to show all apps. Look for Google Play Services (it has a puzzle-like icon) and disable/force stop it. This usually fixes my problem.

There is an Oppo Reno 8 and an Oppo Reno 8T, the 8T doesn't support 60fps.

Yeah, the facebook bind is causing the problem. TGC has recommended to stop using fb as a linking option because it's constantly giving players sign-in and linking issues. Do you have a different method linked? Use that to sign in and try again.
Or if you started playing sky on your current device, sign in as local account and link.

You can play Sky on it as long as it meets the other requirements but it will surely be not a good experience compared to some other chipsets

You might experience bad fps drops when transiting to different areas as the GPU might take longer to load the map. That's what happens on my old S8 which uses Mali-G71.

For your recording issue, this is unfortunately a problem with Android hardware and can't simply be fixed by the game. Even if you can get it to record, the quality is poor and there is no sound. For in-game recording, I suggest getting a third-party recorder like AZ Screen Recorder from the Play Store

Adding to Ari, this is most probably a Google account related bug because some android devices are capable to do screen recording (3rd party app still does a better job), the internal popup says "not available for this account" so it seems to be Google/account related, and it's also in Google style not Sky in-game popup style.

For the event? The yellow event umbrella isn't free, its an Iap item (basically means purchased with real money) and can be found at the gift spirit in the event area for i believe 20$.

the in-game recording button has always been bad since even if it does work it records the google games bubble that cannot be removed during recording.

idk if its just samsungs but ive always had built in screen recording even as far back to the S8. should just double check if your android has built in screen recording but yeah 3rd party recorders ARE def will beat the ingame by a mile

Had the recorder on the first page of Quick Access by default on both my phones (Samsung). Wonder if your phone supports it or not

If using a Samsung, most of them have a "Game Launcher" app by default which offers Screen Recording which is pretty great for most purposes in case your phone doesn't have the in-built recorder

I have the volume on full blast but it's just not working. This has happened to me a couple times, often times the keyboard wont come up because my game is lagging, but that is usually a server problem. Game crashes are the same. I have not found a solution sadly, but I usually just wait out the lag by running in circles, then when it stops (and hopefully my game doesn't crash) I am able to open my keyboard again after a couple tries.

Is it just me or Sky has been more computationally intensive lately? My Galaxy S20 FE snapdragon cannot hold smooth framerates anyone, when on 60 fps mode! Are you guys experiencing something similar?

I'm also using S20fe on 60fps but do not experience the fps drops you are describing. I get them on switch and my old S8 instead. Did you have other apps running in the background while playing sky?

Unlikely that it's gonna change in future updates, the existing hardware can't render the frames as efficiently as it needs to for a smooth gameplay and you can't get around with the hardware capabilities
