Correct me if this isn't the right place to post this; but what's a good way to wrap up the storyline in a grand finale season, and have space for more seasons if needed?

Since from what I've seen, they'll continue making content for the game as long as there are players supporting it; in other words, the final season will come when the Sky community dies. For TGC to wrap up everything by then would be too late.

That's the problem with making an ending to an MMO; you want to keep players interested after the ending, make the ending feel like it accomplished something, yet still keep the game recognisable

I would be kinda saddened if they actually gave some extra closure to the game
I think, like journey, sky has this idea of being a never-ending world and that's part of its beauty.
Stars will keep on falling and skykids will keep on bringing them to eden, and our journey finishes, simply, when we stop playing and, in a way, finally become a statue ourselves that will no longer be revived (until we play again!!)

The elder of Isle has a boat mask. There are beached boats everywhere in Isle. My theory is that Isle was one of the great ports of the past. Perhaps Isle elder used to direct the ships and manage the economy.

The elder of Prairie has a jar mask, much like the butterfly jars. Additionally, Prairie is full of light creatures. I'd assume, based on the fact that it looks almost 100% unaffected by artificial stuff, that Prairie is a nursery for the light creatures. My theory is that Prairie elder oversees the production of light creatures, so that other people can extract the light from them for diamonds.

The forest elder was meant to be a backup diamond creator, and perhaps a light extractor. This is based on the fact that she has a massive hammer, an anvil, and the big diamond on her mask. However, she became the main producer of diamonds after the Sky kingdom went to war.

The valley elders capture light and beam it to the main factories of power diamonds. This is supported by the fact that GW and Forest both have evidence of diamond production and it is convenient to have a realm right between to capture that light. I think the gold has something to do with it. The elders support this with their baseball bat looking things, because they smacc'd the light to another realm during the cutscene. Most of their time is spent having fun, though, because Valley is pretty much rich due to their important duty and good geographical location.

Contrary to popular belief, I think that Golden Wasteland was meant to be another massive port, and the elder used to help the Isle elder manage the economy. However, the war happened, krills happened, and now GW elder defends the Vault from Krills. He probably also played a massive role during the war, because of that chonky spear. Their effort in the war and defence against krills is based on the spear/sword, the shield, and the helmet.

The Vault elder manages the Vault (duh) and probably helps maintain the chamber and machinations of the vault, especially since it has many magical/technological components. They also hold some of the deepest and oldest knowledge, based on the glowing slab on their head.

The manta doesnt actually get vaporized, but instead the krill absorb it. The flesh (made of light) gets absorbed by darkstone on the krill, but where do the bones go?(cos bones are left behind from unnatural death) This could be because the bones actually get absorbed into part of the actual krill, as well as the actual soul(as it doesnt ascend). This could suggest that krills are actually considting of multiple creatures of light, not only elder creatures(whales and alpha mantas), like a siphonophore

What if we're seeing is both real, but also a physical illusion?

Each time we rise up, we're activating more of those...I'm gonna say "memory cubes".

Some are used to power the Darkstone Elevator.

But as we rise up, what if more, and more, and more are being activated.

Each 'level' we ascend to are based off of a specific realm.

So what if we're seeing these as...as an amalgamations of memories and recordings of those realms?

yeah, I like to think skykids as the vessel of the cycle of rebirth,|| being the carriers of winged lights to Eden, only to be released from the storm with the stars of another- ||hence the immense value of ascended candles- you unlock more items of greater honor

which i think would then play into the more overall concept of both the game and kingdom of sky advocating a general togetherness? hence why it's often preferred to "go to eden with multiple people?"

however this would then imply that at some point there was a first "pilot" batch of skykids going into eden without any intentions to || save anyone||, so perhaps the inital purpose of sky kids was something different

also, after seeing how much spirits of later seasons (say like, enchantment and beyond) interact with sky kids, how alive/dead are spirits really?

like you're reading and reliving the memories of them

but then in adventure you can literally just??? high-five the questgiver??? and straight up build stuff together??? (same goes for enchantment as well)

maybe you're just??? interacting with the spirits by acting as another spirit that was there with them?

which raises more questions on the supposed time gap between spirits and skykids and how alive/dead they really are?????
