you can see in the image that the fur cuts off around the base of the neck/start of the shoulders
from there, it becomes warm robes, and their arms are not covered aside from what seems like gloves

winter feasts can be found around the globe
im not entirely sure why, but it probably has something to do with eating a bunch as the weather gets colder so that you have some fat on you to keep you warm and also as energy stores incase the going gets tough. additionally, big community meals are GREAT for social bonding, most mammals treat communal eating as a sign of trust. eating means letting your guard down, so you trust the people you’re eating with enough to let your guard down, chat, and relax

so imagine, winter in the sky kingdom, there’s this massive 7-day (im guessing it’ll be 7 days) celebration where you spend all this time with your community and put on 10 or so pounds. and when it’s over, you all get ready to stretch the remaining food from the harvest thin over the winter and get other things done, such as weaving or sewing or small artistic projects. this is assuming the sky kingdom has medieval technology ofc, considering the existence of power diamonds they might have thermal tech that lets some people (factory workers probably) continue to go to work

but yeah there’s my (hobbyist) anthropological thoughts on the days of feast !

additionally, i haven’t brought this up here but i will now, ive been thinking about sky’s agriculture and general wellbeing of its citizens, and it seems they were plentiful with food (like, nowadays levels of plentiful)

around sky we can see labourers and workers who, despite their physically taxing jobs, are pretty chubby. now, historically, labourers were usually the thinnest/most malnourished class, especially in industrial times. however, here we see they’re pretty well off

thus i’m going to make the educated guess that the sky kingdom’s agriculture was bountiful and very very well managed + distributed

just paying attention to things as simple as that we could get a very good idea of the general society and organization of the sky kingdom

this is also why « no lore » seasons like gratitude, belonging, rhythm, and sanctuary are important
even if they don’t tell us about the king, elders, or megabird, they still tell us about the society at large and offer more information about the world

like in belonging we see capes used to denote hierarchy in a family

the sky kingdom was a monarchy, an industrialized one at that
it seems the elders were the lords and the king was, well, the king
we have the papal class in vault, possibility spread among the kingdom too
the knights were likely concentrated in GW, but every lordship needs some warriors
merchants probably stayed around GW and Valley since they seem to be the trading hubs
and then the peasants are...well...the peasants

Next time , When you go to eden, and after hugging the shiny boi, just observe the building on the left closely while ascending, we are spiraling around it as we go up, and then we see the Broken top, where Elder statues are seen. I think that's the real vault. Also, it makes sense that we see that tower in the clouds since vault is supposed to be in a cloud mountain

why do krills attack? •theory 1. maybe they werent those dark creatures their whole life, maybe they were also creatures of light. They didnt know how to restore themselves so they attacked anything that had light, thinking it may restore their light

Imma put my theory really quickly about the animals

When there was a balance between light and darkness, crabs and krill were light creatures. Then, darkness started to overtake light, and some of the light animals got corrupted. (Maybe this happened during the eden explosion) Most of the light animals died instantly after being corrupted. But not the krill or the crabs, creatures who could survive harsh conditions
