- It means that the actual caves of propehcies isn't there , it's somewhere esle, only the entrance is there, maybe the people at that time could open and close portals and since that place looks hidden , maybe they just made the entrance in Isle and a portal, so that they can close it whenever they wish and noone can enter
- It's so that people (ahem, ha*kers )can't go to the area easily.

I wonder if these symbols of power were more common in GW because it was filled with warriors, which leads me to believe that Eden Elder was in fact not a very peaceful king before he was "corrupted" but could of been in fact a king who had done war many times before. Which makes me think of isle elder, as he was cast down first. Is this what he could of disagreed with? It wasn't in fact the other elders, but in fact was the king whom he questioned. Isle elder looks peaceful but maybe the one time he went against the king for peace, he was banished. And in so when Isle Elder began teaching the prophets, he grew into anger and that anger only grew with time as the prophets educated the ancestors and then us. And with that anger, he used up all the magic he had to create this eternal loop of death and suffering as our punishment.
