Alright, I’m back, and sadly, as I expected, the pipe doesn’t really lead anywhere, just goes into a large rock wall and never continues past it. I did forget to try walking inside it, though I imagine it’d just hit that same wall and be a dead end.

And yes, one of the krill do in fact venture up here! On the lower half of the pipe, a krill frequently searches and I had to use the play dead emote glitch to go undetected. Interestingly enough, while I did this, when the Krill passed me, its body was close enough to physically touch my skykid. Normally, getting close to a krill triggers the instant detection and getting even closer pushes you away with wind (not as hard as a wind-wall that disabled movement and flings you chaotically, though), but since I was on the ground and spamming the faint emote, the krill didn’t spot me and the wind didn’t push me away. However, when they touched me, I instantly went to zero health (including having an empty star meter), but did not lose any stars.
So yes, there is a place where you can touch the krills without having to visit the docile krill!

Yupp, krills are airbenders, one time I tried to ride one and I FLEWW as if it was wind wall, then I tried to ride it again and it blew me halfway across the map and then I crashed

I think the murals suggest the isle elder led people (direct ancestors of spirits) to the cities the elders started to build above the cloud. That thought also makes me scared of him a bit because then he's basically a kidnapper or like a pied piper.
Maybe people willingly followed the elder(s), but we know the fate of their civilization

The story of how light was taken from the lands to the forest light factory and feed up into the diamond of Eden is told in the movement of the door entering into forest temple. Perhaps Eden was to be a new city in the sky and they were gathering great amounts of light from trees, butterflies and manta and then lost control. The power bursts containment and pours toxic volcanic rock rain on the people below freezing them to statues like mount Vesuvius burying Pompeii

Some of it fits very well, some of it is a bit loose (Valley). It'd also be missing Circles 2 (Lust), 8 (Fraud) and 9 (Treachery).

There's also the old megabird: Geryon, the winged monster who allows Dante and Virgil to descend a vast cliff to reach the Eighth Circle, was traditionally represented as a giant with three heads and three conjoined bodies. Dante's Geryon, meanwhile, is a "monster with the general shape of a wyvern but with the tail of a scorpion, hairy arms, a gaudily-marked reptilian body, and the face of a just and honest man". Just noticed, there's two fallen ancestor statues in front of the 8 man entry gate. One dark, one light.
Don't know if that aspect's significant, but I've always wondered why there's two doors opend with candle light, one with butterfly light.

Is it trying to tell the player to equate the two?

Wait, that's the only door in the game not opened by lighting something, (Not counting the current forest stomp door)

Hmm... interesting thing about the golden gear in Forest Temple... considering that as soon Forest Elder lifted the diamond to the air and into the gear... wouldn’t you consider the gear to be some sort of a generator that causes for the Forest temple gates to open?

I mean the whole diamond been the power source to almost everything has been talked about for a long while

so it’s obvious for Forest Elder to be responsible for the creations of the power diamond ( or as so we thought )

Finally, that dumb forest temple door finally makes sense to me, if you factor in mining.
Darkstone, mined from the forest, combined with the light, sent by boats from prarie, creates floaty diamond thingys.
Pretty simple like that!

I’ll admit Vault is the one realm I don’t quite understand why we appear in that last room after the cutscene. The dream/vision idea makes sense, but if that final room is what vault really looks like, then is the first level (the “ground” level) imagination too? what in Vault is real and what isn’t

what if the final area of vault (before the eden entrance) is the real vault? like its so destroyed and grey, makes you feel like that the “enemy” from the battle outside the temple actually managed to get into vault

because everythings been consistent until vault right

I have been noticing that the cross on top of wasteland temple looks different depending which side of the portal you stand (between shipyard and battlefield)

Would those particular spirits be like the specialists, or at least has some connections with the creatures?

as much as I would love to see a krill call spirit ( who might happen to be a warrior spirit ) in the Battlefield, I don't think it would be possible to see the spirit story since you'll have people rushing for the call and cosmetics...

you know how as soon you reach to the end of the spirit's story, and obtain their items/cosmetics, you can't revisit the spirit unless you have a new player, or at least someone who didn't have that spirit in their constellation yet.

There’s a bunch of diamonds on it and there’s that building thing there. Does this connect to vault or wasteland temples/maps? I don’t know much about the lore, but I was wondering if someone else knew what this might mean or have some theory about it

Ik these devs are amazing but I would be shocked at that attention to detail to change the behavior of fire to accurately reflect the gravity. It’s really cool how fire changes like that but they’re probably just using the common flame that everyone’s used to

Though one way to calculate gravity is by falling from a height without a cape, recording it to know how long it took, measuring the height with pixel measurements, and then doing some math
buuuuut we would be assuming that skykids have the normal weight of a young child around three feet tall, but considering how quickly they fall capeless, their bodies being dark and looking rock-like (cold, hardened magma exterior when without light, and then warm magma surrounded by slightly hardened but still hot and part-melted stone on the outside) in appearance or made of some other material, being dense or durable enough to withstand high-velocity impacts and get nothing but a cute ding sound, and so on, I highly doubt that would be the case.

we would need something like, say, the devs confirming what the dark crabs are made of, and if it's mostly real-life materials or something close to them, we could do some work to approximate their masses and then do a drop test

Also, water doesn’t harm us since we can swim in it easily, and so neither should normal rain. The rain in the forest is toxic rain, full of acid, and the oil in the wasteland is toxic as well, causing us harm while the water does not

hm I was thinking, the giant crystal in eden is a power crystal, right? power crystals get lit up and then power things, that's how they're supposed to work. The giant crystal might not have released all it's energy, hence everything going back to chill because it absorbs light. It's constantly soaking in more energy, that's why it's shaking bc it's packed to the brim with it. it never runs out so the chaos never stops. The red crystals on the way (and the rocks) actively drain your light, and they appear to be broken off from the crystal itself. Part of the reason why it never gets too full is a couple reasons- it's constantly shooting rocks out, and krill are feeding light off of it, that's why the area is so dark and why it's infested with krill.

There’s this theory I have, right? Sky kids are made of wax and rely on heat to survive, wax on its own is very malleable and odd in its own way. When heated up, it turns into a liquid, and when cooled, it hardens. The only reason Sky kids don’t melt and leave themselves all over the place boils down to a key theme in the game: Magic. The magic holds them together, allowing for fluid movement without melting into a puddle. ||Take note that in Eden, once you lose your winged lights, you go dim and slowly stiffen. That’s because without the winged lights that keep your Sky kid’s heat going, they cool down and eventually grow weak.||

What if the eye actually works like a heart and the sky kids and creatures are the “blood”?

Because the eye is taking energy from us but we also reborn everytime

So the process would be like:
You start the game and take all your stars, then you take them to orbit and give them to the eye and then you start all over again

Heartbeats pump blood in our body giving it oxygen (energy) and after the blood has completed its journey is out of oxygen and comes back to the heart

The Vault of Knowledge has shelves of crystals covering the walls. They're all uniform in size, suggesting they have a single purpose, and they're arranged in a manner that suggests that they aren't simply interchangeable power sources or raw material. Rather, they are like books in a library. The level's name suggests these crystals are being used to store information somehow.

Assuming the crystals can fit more info than paper into a fixed volume (since, if they couldn't, the Vault could have simply used paper), there are far more crystals than it seems like the Ancestors would need unless their society was much more technologically advanced than it appears. So what, exactly, are they doing with all that storage space?

I have a theory, based on these observations:

1. The Vault seems to be built inside a hollow shaft carved up through the center of Eden's mountain. Partway up the tower, the elevator passes a section where the bricks are scattered and broken off from the building, then enters an open section, which has no walls left at all and continues to the top of Vault. There is also a lot of sand scattered in heaps on the ground floor– an odd thing to find in an enclosed space.
   This could have been caused by an explosion that destroyed the top half of the Vault, along with its crystals, when Eden's storm first awakened.

2. The Vault Elder's cutscene runs as follows: the sky child approaches the Elder with a flame in their hands. The Elder takes out an empty crystal and holds it out to the sky child, who places their flame inside it. Then the sky child releases the lit diamond, and it floats away into the Vault. (Note that this happens just before Eden and rebirth.)

3. The Vault has a very solemn, mystical feel to it; if those crystals were devoted to storing cat memes, you'd think it wouldn't have such a formal atmosphere. The caretakers of the Vault, as seen in their spirits, have ceremonial uniforms and apparently practice telekinesis to handle their crystals. It seems that the diamonds are very important and need to be handled with care.

4. There are spirits scattered throughout the lands of Sky, which relive their memories.

Perhaps the Vault was a place to store, not only knowledge, but the memories or even the souls of the dead or dying? When the top half of the Vault was destroyed, the spirits from the shattered crystals returned to the places they remembered best.

in the concept arts i think i remember reading a part where diamonds and triangles are important designs for the sky community. represents strength or something like that? also makes sense since triangles are the strongest shape to build with too (from what i remember in like 6th grade loll)
