So, this is my take on the days of treasure cape. Tbh I don't hate the direction they went for, I just think the execution was kinda silly. The coins looking THAT big and being the major part at the back is what throws me out a little. I think that makes the cape a bit hard to match with other cosmetics. I did a very quick sketch of what I think would look a lil bit more 'pleasing' and left some of the refs to make it easier to understand what I was going for:

WIP - This friendship tree is still being tested in beta and not a final version.
The video is for demonstrating the new mechanic. It is similar to Migration and LightMending where unlocking friendship nodes raises a sidebar to unlock tiers.

Unlike friendship with seasonal spirits where you can level up trust by spending 30 minutes with them, there is currently no time-based trust gain for player-to-player friendship. AFK-ing with a friend does not make the friendship sidebar move. We are not sure if it would be a possibility in future.

Alright so since I get a lot of people asking me "Hey what's that mask?" I thought I'd share exactly what it is and all the other things associated with it:

A few seasons ago, we were testing very early versions of the spirit friendship system with base game spirits, and along with it came a few new base game cosmetics!

• A bell which is sold by Applauding Bellmaker. This bell has the same function as the migration bell.

• A sleepy mask from Slumbering Shipwright. There is a dyable region, that being the diamond on the forehead!

• A new pair of base game pants sold by Waving Bellmaker.

• A butterfly on your shoulder sold by Butterfly Charmer.

Note: we have no information on if or when these cosmetics will come to the live game.

How do I suggest being able to change clothing dye options for the new items. Because the belt/ corset on the pants has a very unique red color that doesn’t match any other items in game. So it needs to be able to be dyed. And the accents in the pants and on the shoes should match it. Same with the mini Top hat. The hat isn’t even dye-able. The whole hat is the unique red and it really needs the ability to be able to Dye it.

We have some interesting changes to share with you all! Aviary will be going through a revamp where the realm portals, cafe, and closet are all a lot closer together. I took some photos and videos for you all to take a peek at, including the view from the nest being updated as well!

• White, puffy but not baggy, less detailed to the point where it looks like rings around the arms instead of tattoos but again, different to the Colour one either way .

• aurora is white, days of color is beige. Doesnt seem like a huge difference but im a sucker for undertones so YES it matters
• the bagginess of days of color is much closer to the bagginess of the fashion iap jeans than aurora, which is a tighter, rounder, more structured shape
• aurora looks more like bangles/bracelets, not tattoos; days of color tattoos are much more complex and extensive, more similar to nature iap dress or the season of duets pants
The silhouette of the two is completely different imo
IF there were another aurora dupe, these remind me of it a lot in shape but even still theyre a reach 😭

I don’t know why everyone seems to be complaining about the Aviary update. Personally, I am really looking forward to it! It feels a lot more cozy and accessible than the current layout. I might even consider switching my Home to Aviary at some point. As you can see, the cafe isn’t gone, it’s just moved. I think it will take the people who use Aviary as their Home a while to adjust, but I really think this change is for the better. The plan has always been for Aviary to be continuously upgraded!
