This is just due to the lighting of the area! The overcast skies can sometimes have a warm tint on things, and since theres no direct sunlight the wings arent sparkling. You can see in some other screenshots the wings are still the same color as before You can also try wearing it in places like Vault or Forest for example to see it without the overcast skies from Home!

I know I constantly rambled on and on about the new colors of the pants and how bad they are, but tbh... they have kinda started to grow on me, sure they have that little prince pajamas issue where they're a color that barely works with anything, but when you finally find something that works, they look GOOD. I kinda wish this color pallette was saved for some different pants though instead of replacing the really good tgc blue color.

They removed the sound variations, which used to make some really cool and "spoken voice like" sounds

I also don’t agree with the idea that “forest is supposed to be gloomy though!” Because this is right at the end of Hidden Forest, and the transition to Valley of Triumph. The specific point in the overarching metaphor for life (Which Sky VERY much is about) Sky tells with this part of Forest? is like… the transition from the moody teenage days of feeling lost and uncertain (which Forest represents)… to a period of confidence and triumph over one’s struggles at the peak of one’s life (which Valley represents)

It's a chat hub disguised as a game. All your currency goes to look the way you want and talking to people. All special events have to do with making your avatar look and move the way you want

Yes the game us a cosmetic collection, if you take away that all you're left with is stagnant areas, useless currency and still a chat hub. And some people like the collecting part and looking a way they find interesting more than the "social" aspects. Didn't know we would be gatekeeping reasons people play a game but dang, here we are

If you've done all seasons, spirits ,the story, exploration, glitches and social interactions and collecting things you want at the end you're left with collecting cosmetics -correct ,But that means you're getting bored cuz you have nothing left to do in the game apart from getting cosmetics .And if tgc decides to make some cosmetic paid ,I think it's stupid to quit because of that .and game is also for free. I think you're just assuming that people will feel the same way as you do. Some people really do just take joy in collecting cosmetics and doing new seasons if they have all the TS. I personally play to alleviate anxiety and practice instruments. What may be boring to some is entertainment to others. Everyone has their reasons to play and or quit.

If that person is debating quitting because TGC is making too many things ap in their opinion, then they are valid to feel that way and it's their choice and their feelings that make them within their right to do so. No need to say it's a stupid reason when it's really just a difference in what you value vs what they do.

Imo if we don’t count the iaps that are not in the season constellation (which are expected considering it’s a collab season), the ap vs free ratio of the cosmetics is balanced. We’re getting an even amount of hairstyles, capes, and pants on both sides. Also, let’s keep in mind that items that are locked behind the ap will come back eventually as igc!

as reference. these capes are all solid. the spirit themselves may be translucent but the capes are always solid

now if you want to use aurora poster art as ref and comparison. you can literally see the other spirit behind the cape. thus the " spirits are always translucent" argument doesnt stand.

they can do it with the ult cape, there's no reason for them to not do it with the spirit's capes aside from exclusivity again
especially when they're advertising the capes like this

I know that it's their right to quit ,but cmon for one cosmetic ,(I would agree if it were a lot more cosmetics)..it's about the paid and not paid situation I'm talking about,I also have my opinion that if TGC changes some cosmetics to paid it's their right to do so. If it's only 1 cosmetic or 2 I think it's okay from their marketing point ,but yeah guys if you wanna quit because something switched to paid you have the right to do so . If you're particularly in the game for collecting, it's okay . it's kinda dead end tho if you're are particularly interested in that.But it's okay.

I understand. but I often fall into person of this category, so I reflect on myself. not so few people often don't seem to mind downgrades or 'out of focus designs'(?).
there are many people who just accept and say, "This is good enough."
Ofc, some of them give feedback for the upgrade.
Unlike issues such as cat hair IAP issues and ult color debates, the issue of item quality seems to be overshadowed by other topics and often buried.
This seems to have resulted in the combination of the part where TGC did not reflect the upgrade feedback on several things or more and the part where there were people who were too receptive to quality.
in spite of that... beta folks pour out feedback hard Whatever the problem is about.
I hope that one day, TGC will also reflect non-mainstream feedback. 🫂

I completely understand where you're coming from. I personally believe that when it comes to creating items, it takes long long time to come up with something that actually makes the season remarkable.
Why do you think the first 5-6 seasons very special? TGC takes at least 1-2 years before hand, to come up with concepts.

Has it never occurred to you how in the first couple of seasons of sky, even if there weren't any seasonal areas (not even major story telling) The cosmetic alone made the season special enough. TGC is so invested in making high quantity content that the concept of making quality items is completely thrown out of the window. And the more people continue to accept this, the worse its gonna get.

It's a numbers game tbh, for example look at my reply for a second, and look at the people who agrees with current design of the cat. If there is a scale where the ratio is 50:50 for dislike and like towards an item. All it takes for 1-2 people to shift the balance and the bandwagoning starts. The more people eats up watered down version of items, the better it is for TGC There is only two ways people's opinion changes,

1.) By influential word OR
2.) Hyper realistic drawing

Because sometimes people are not apt for visualisation. So when you present drawing at a realistic level, people starts to see "Oh this is what it could have been".

My opinion: the ult pants changed to mint because the actual outfit of Aurora is green-ish in The Seed music video. And since this is a collaboration, its best to go with the original color that the ult pants was based on. (Tho, i wish it could be a bit darker green tone) 🤧

The other things are sure bad, but only playing beta isn't a bad thing at all, when playing beta, you're helping the experience of the game for live players to be better, you get to test stuff early and somehow be "a part of the game developing"
Also, some people (including me) don't have the time to grind both on Live and Beta, so it's perfectly reasonable to play only Beta

Also, about progress wipes, i'm pretty aware it can happen at any time and * poof * everything on my account will be gone, but at the moment i joined beta, i pretty much agreed with this, and it's perfectly fine for me, i love this game and i love being able to help the live game somehow :)
