@dreamy perch the automatic landing in the ice rink is inconvenient because you can’t fly wherever you want. Some people like to go to the right to grab the candles on the high platform where the spirit is. I like to fly towards the sc that may not be on the platform. What this does is make your cr a bit longer because next season there may not be any sc on the central bridge

One of my coworkers who works more on backend things can probably explain it better than me, but the code and defs and basically internal references the game makes within its code would make that a much more complicated process than clicking a button and things work the way we'd want them to

In my opinion it should be more transparent and glittery, it should remember the colors of the northern lights, but with shaded and light colors, which are almost not seen in the transparency of the cape. It should have an effect more like the transparent butterfly cape.

Overall, I decided to try transparent capes. I wanted to keep the stars away from the cape level stars because it feels cluttery to me. Also did my white gold edit in it as well and kept the edges of the cape while fading the middle.

That being said-- I do like the idea of having the cape fade at end with stars like done by @/bubba#7483, but wanted to try keeping the edges of the capes just to see what it's like.

Doodled some of my own self indulgent cape edits inspired by a few ideas everyone has been bouncing around the last few days plus my own. In no way am I an artist, sorry if they suck
I like the idea of transparent capes but not quite as transparent as the butterfly wings if I'm being honest, I think having these capes a bit more opaque than the ult would be better. I'm also obsessed with gradient effects, so I'd love to see the transparency at the edges and ends specifically, with the top and middle of the capes having the most colour and vibrancy.
I like the orange cape but I agree the shape is a bit iffy at the moment so I took inspiration from others to make it more tail like and pointy? Same with the blue cape, the round platypus tail the current game design has looks a bit stiff.
The scarf cape should still be a regular cape, not transparent in my opinion, but I wish it was lighter so I did that here... I still really love the white design Rae created before though!
I love green so I just feel like the cape should be more vibrant - I think it could go well with the green pants or more plain pants in game alike. I also don't like how square the cape is in game so I tried out a pointed edge like the decorative flag/runner rugs in the coliseum.
As for the red cape, I'm obsessed with deep red, think phoenix cape but I love the heroic/champion feel that the current game shape has so I left it that kinda shape.

I've seen so many people be confused by the shape of the Voice of Aurora instrument - I'm pretty sure it's meant to represent the microphones used in professional recording booths! They tend to be round or shaped like a ring to capture the audio as best as possible, you sing into the center! :> So yep it is technically a type of microphone! I hope this helped some of you >u< <3
