I went to eden for the first time after months with 160 wl, got all statues in 1st zone, probably missed some in second and pretty sure I only missed out one in the third zone. I got 15 candles. The crawling does make things harder, and I most definitely won’t ever do pnr solo. Having friends to help recharge in second zone is so helpful

Been going in to see where people need help a lot more
one of them kept trying to fly.. everywhere, even if it wasn't working out for them. Two moths, seperate trips, wouldn't go into pnr without me, so I went to help with lanterns. Said my goodbyes and directed them forward at the last lantern in the endless rain, which answers my own question of it anyone has been able to light that without recharge potion. One is still there now, they were with a couple others when I left. The other left the game when I did

And I feel like I may have, too? I think it must be after a certain amount of time has passed.

I noticed it when I went to Eden too and in beta when testing the feature, if you go a certain amount of time or so without getting hit again (or getting away from whatever is draining your light) then you do get back up and walk very slowly, however as soon as you get hit by another rock you go back to crawling again

It happened to me in my latest Eden run a couple of days ago, and yeah I was able to get up a couple of times, but it didn't last for very long. Once you reach that point in Eden anyway you're best off not trying to get relit but just get to as many statues as you can before you eventually run out

Into stable? Not too sure on what on you mean but the crawling is already in live, and it's possible to get all the statues with it. I'd say the time and amount of wl it takes to get all statues and finish eden is still the same, just a bit tedious with the crawling

If you ran through the path into the gate, you've collected them. The spirits you've ascended (bought the wing buff from) will stand at the size of the side of the path near-ish the gate, sort of, every time you finish eden. The most spirits you ascend, the more will greet you to give you your wing buff^^ You'll see them the next time you go through if you genuinely rushed it and didn't notice them

I'm not entirely sure but I think it's possible to miss all or majority by flying above and past them, so if you do it purpose you can

You're free to run it again as many times you want, the statues you save and get ac from just only reset weekly, not everyday. You'll get wing buffs each time you run through, so if you have extra if you've gotten after eden and/or think you missed the other wing buffs, you can run it again

You just need to get 20 wl to enter the eden gates, 20 is the requirement

Only two things you can use in your emote/stance/spell menu when extinguished is instant recharge and fast recharge spells. Everything else is greyed out. White candle to offer new friendship/upgrades is also disabled when extinguished.

Doing it the usual way takes a bit of patience and dodging and hiding. You can always search up a walk through of Eden towards pnr though (you can even like pause it every now and eden as long as you're in a safe spot too), it helped me during the first time and from then on I just keep doing the same thing a.k.a just going to the same hiding spots and you get used to it eventually.

Oh, but then again I go as the OG size of a skykid/slightly smaller than the OG size and sometimes even going in as a chibi. I think it maybe a bit harder if you're a tall skykid

Anyway, new Eden is more difficult if before the update you were the type of person who just kind of ran through the whole thing without lighting many of the recharging stations because you had enough WL to take some hits and still make it out with a decent amount of candles. With the changes, you have to take more time in the earlier parts to not lose your light until closer to the end when it's harder to make it to the recharging areas without getting hit. You can still get a decent amount of candles even when going solo, you just need to be more careful about it

It's very difficult to get all of the statues now with the crawling feature, if you and everyone in your group loses light then no one can recharge each other anymore and you won't make it to the end. So I wouldn't focus as much on getting all possible now but I still think 12-13 is pretty decent for one run

Stones are more difficult to dodge +they are more damage that before, if I'm not wrong in first stage when you start they leave you already half of your light, and the stones at the enter of the statue of eden (where there is the krill) will leave you all the light leaving you crawling, when you do the phase of the statue they put more light because it's easier (but depends on skill too) to get hit, and since there is crawling system, they put more light for that. And nothing I think these are the changes 🤔 hope you understand because I'm bad at explaining 😅 have good evening/day!

It’s definitely more important to cooperate with other players so go with a friend or try and team up with someone you meet there. It’s even more important than it was to light every shrine and use each one as a base from which to reach nearby statues, especially towards the end.

One thing I didn’t realize until today is that the continuous rain doesn’t start till much later, and you’ve got shrines you can light farther along then before. So yes, the crawling makes things harder but it’s still possible to give light to every statue, even doing it solo.

so yeah it seems that chibi makes it difficult in some areas but might help in others (like u said)

When wearing chibi mask you seem to have shorter range of movement so you're susceptible to being just short of reaching certain edges when you need to jump i.e the first area where you open the door from Vault. You're also more likely to fall into small crevices accidentally because you fit into. Though, yes being chibi in the Eye of Eden and having a smaller hit box does have its advantages.

I'm not sure..but I know when I grouped with the 4 moths I struggled more over getting over ledges well more than I should have and when I didn't have it on it was more bare able. Battlefield ESPECIALLY was one that was a constant fight to get over a step before the krill came around or rocks

Some initial thoughts I had:
-The wind seems stronger during the trek up the mountains(area 1, area 2) | Definitely imperative to not get hit by the rocks during this area because getting extinguished and put into crawl makes it hard to progress; watch the windy pattern with the particulates in the air to know when it’s easier to jump up ledges (area 1)

• I actually enjoyed the addition of an interim section between the first set of statues and the endless rain in the 3rd area (it seems they added some light sources and more cover too?)
• I went with another Sky kid, so having asynchronous calls helped keep one another lit (the added light sources helped us too)
• Surprisingly, crawling during the endless shard rain was better than I thought, we preferred it to being stun locked in the corrupted water unable to move

It's a common bug, restarting will fix it for both of you. To get back together I recommend talking outside of sky and trying to get on sky at the same time, use return shrine at the same etcetc. Until you reach the flying part, like 90% chance you'll get back together

Ah I see, well if it's registering you as having given a WL to a statue then I think the only way to get out of it would be to try using the return shrine and see if it takes you to the statue area, in which case you'll have to go through and be reborn again. The methods to get out of PNR only work if you haven't given light to a statue yet I believe

That's not supposed to happen? I've done Eden twice and it's what I see for a while before it goes to the cutscene. I thought it was rather sloppy having untextured rocks tumbling, clouds or just lights. Second time it asked me if I wanted to continue or wait for the others that were with me and being impatient I just said continue. The solo fly was nice.

Even if you got no spirit wax in the first edne run of the day, you can't get any spirit wax from the second run onwards until reset

Im such a bad moth parent aaaa, I guided a moth through eden and we got to the ascension part but they wouldn't go in without me so I had to do the glitch to leave, what makes it even worse is that I forgot I've gotten all the statues so my poor moth is stuck in eden with no statues leftttt

Okay so what you need to do now is keep moving forward and offering your wings to the statues, try to watch out for the red rocks, if you time it right you won't get hit but don't worry if you do - like I said the whole point of eden is to lose your lights

With the season of shattering happening, it kind of makes me want to write a short fanfic about a skykid that was corrupted by a shard of eden on the way down. Like as she descended into the world of sky, a shard collided with her and caused half of her body to be shadowy and dark like the krill. She has the urge to knock the light out of others (despite her not wanting too) and due to some slip-ups, many sky kids avoid her. I think the story will pick up where she wanders Sky, mainly trudging around golden wasteland, watching others go through. I think the krill would still attack her bc she does have light in her still. Maybe she sees a moth struggling with the krill, goes to distract it, krill knocks light out of her, instead of running away moth rekindles her light, and then they make their way to Eden together uncertain about the dark-kid’s fate.

Tho problem is that eden’s light is draining, so maybe instead of getting the urge to knock the light out of others, being around her drains them instead. And maybe she can’t even fly (or flewn by others) bc of that. I think it’ll lend itself to focusing on the technology of the world (and the challenge of reviving a bit of it) too since she can’t fly herself.

Dying is the whole point of Eden, so don't be sad if that's the case You give all your wl to statues, and in return are rewarded with ascended candles, depending on how many statues you save. Max ac per week is 15.75. It's a whole loop of Eden > Collect wl > Eden. You don't have to go weekly but it's an option. There will be a day where you'll only need to go once per few months since people end up running out of things to spend AC on

Yup, at eden you give all your wl in exchange for ascended candles
You can use your ascended candles to buy wing buffs from spirits. Each wing buff gives you one extra wing after you leave orbit, so you can start out with more and more wings

The lock thingy in spirit trees (NOT in friendship trees) is wing buff

It's normal, it's called stormlock. Once you enter pnr, you're placed into stormlock which prevents you from doing anything other than finish eden

Restarting the app after pnr and mid play through will put you into that type of home

Hi, I got a problem: I always avoid going to Eden but I've been playing for so long now, never get in trouble in wasteland and in general I would say I am now relatively confident with control and all but I don't know how to manage to go to pnr alone, I'd love to learn it tho! Many friends that take me there found their routes and nearly never fail.
Are there any common routes or do you all have something like personal recommendations for that?

the quality is literally garbage but i couldnt find another way to make it fit onto discord lol

this is from part 2 to pnr, since part 1 is quite simple

this route, if you fly the same way im going, keeps you out of the way of krill and also the boulders. (the black rocks you see in the video cant hurt you), which is why i recommend it
