I was surprised a bit, I expect it to take place in Eden. And it was rumour. But I think it makes a perfect sense when I thought about it afterwards.

My thoughts about Prince's final quest in game and the similarites to the book:
At the end of the book prince gets voluntarily bitten by the snake. The previous quest is very similar, you see prince talk to the krill.
My thoughts are that Sky is still family friendly game and it is really harsh to see a character commit their own death.

In the book pilot sees the prince bitten by the snake and prince's body fella ro the sand. Prince said before that it would look like he died and that he needs "to leave his body behind because it's too heavy to travel so far." And next the body disappears. Was it a dream, did it really happen?

In the game prince asks the krill similarily for "the way how to do it, leave their body behind". In Sky World krills sends prince to Eden because that's the place where you get your body behind. We watch him to do very so in the cutscene.

But the quest takes us bit further where pilot couldn't go. He had his hopes and theories. We as Sky kids use the very same way. We are doing the next part, freeing prince's soul to move on. We continue to Eden as usual, as we did in all our previous reincarnations, as we are destined to do over and over. But prince is not part of that cycle. He is there, waiting for us, taking us to the gate. But same as the pilot - now he can't follow us anymore. He doesn't reborn, he takes another way where we can't follow him. And we had only memory and his laughter in all the stars.

And my final thoughts and opinions. When the season was live, prince wasn't his current spirity transparent self. He was solid and colourful. But now he went to Eden and he's gone. It's just a memory of the spirit that had visites the lands of Sky in the past. Similar to ancestor spirits.

Yep! Although my impression was that they also made the story for a fit to the game in terms of character. Like, why including a snake when you already has this scary and kinda deadly krill?

Not gonna lie, seeing the boy running towards the mountain had me thinking like... "oh boy, you really do have a ||death wish||..." and "uhhh...are you in your right mind? Seriously?"

It's an adaptation to the world of Sky. In books prince talks about people rushing to work in trains, in Sky he is worrying about the spread of darkness.

But at the same time I love how they lowkey followed the actual storyline, or included the details like those parts with little prince flying with birds... and the quotes from the book... it felt like going back to the story.

If it was more to the letter of the book, we would came there the second time to the well and watch him krilled. But that would not be a very interesting quest probably. I wish there was more to do around well than to wrestle with the krill though!

Fox's story was skipped all together. We only had fox IAP. In the story we were both the pilot and the fox I guess.

Seasonal spirits, yes.

The asteroid cape can take you to a special behind the scenes places used in cutscenes. It was IAP during the season. Owners can take friends there.

No prince there, though. But it's very sweet.

I think that you can't redo quests in forgotten ark. You can't watch ark being rebuilt again. But it is not the same. You can play all the cutscenes though.

Eden rocks?? Not sure, but they'll vibrate when near, and will hurt you and throw you back when touched, you'll lose your light and eventually wl if you get hit by it multiple times

Ah they don't move or anything, they're somewhat regular rocks. Just go round them. Crabs will gang up on you and attack you without any remorse, big difference 😔

Very possible! There are oob shortcuts that you can learn after your first run. With oob shortcut it takes me less than 2 min to get to the end, (excluding the pnr ofc), and you avoid krills, rocks etc.

The regular route is fun too, and it gets easier after a couple of times, just time consuming

I have a video with all the shortcuts, I can send you it after you're done. Feel free to ping me even if I'm offline if you'll need it:)

Once you've gone a few times and understand the timing of the rocks and the krill it gets much easier. I struggled a lot at the last hill where ||rocks are flying past and a krill is patrolling. || I often got krilled until I learned that you should go when the krill ||flies to the right side of the final hill. That way you get more time to run up past the rocks to safety.||

I stuck with one and always had the video open on my com while I trekked up Eden for the first 6-7 runs or so

Nothing other than ||office|| and 8 player puzzle needs to be spoilered:) and krills isn't spoiler at all

But no there aren't. There are some that unreliable and/or time consuming You're most likely to get hit before you finish the trick And as we learned previously, relying on tricks isn't the best as they can get patched any time:) Learn to dodge and avoid them.
As a quick and last resort you can close Sky completely before/after getting hit. (after getting hit and before your lost wl disappears, wl that touches dark water is instantly registered as lost) You can log back on and your lost wl will still be there since it hadn't registered as 'lost'

You can escape it by logging out of eden. When you log in again, try to glitch inside eden gate to the social space.
This way you don't have to do the whole eden. You can return home from eden social space and portals will be active again

I just had the wildest eden experience.
I was just finishing when a chibi entered on the same server and started OOBing. The game tried to rubberband me to them, but couldn't figure out the pathing until they reentered eden proper.
So I slowly bounced, up above the dark light filter, under the water.
It took me awhile to even figure out what was going on.

I can't tell if I'm doing something wrong in Eden, but sometimes I get stunlocked into place where I can't make any progress forward and just keep getting knocked on my back no matter what I do, whether I quickly jump or walk or slowly jump.

Every run feels different where I make it farther seemingly by luck? Is the server deciding that I need more winged light and just not letting me get farther?

OK. It's weird to get negative feedback and not be able to do anything about it... particularly when the outcomes are different.

I just discovered, when you are dead but not onto the death cutscene, emotes with particle effects will still work even when your body is invisible (ie using confetti will have confetti shoot out of your spirit, you can juggle balls without anyone actually juggling them etc)

Putting the lore aside, the reason us sky kids redo eden over and over again even tho we lost most of their wl in doing so, is because we need the ascended candles. We need ascended candles to buy "permanent" wl (called wingbuff) from spirits. That's how people have more wl than the total number of wl that exist in every realms (right now there are only 105 wl)

While you have to collect wl in various locations in every realms, you collect your wingbuffs in orbit, right before you enter the rebirth gate.

Yes, some items are only accessible after you unlock some wingbuffs so you're gonna need to redo eden to get more ascended candles. It is needed to unlock friendship tree further too, tho you won't get a permanent wl from friendship tree.

Yeah, what worked for me (I use Switch docking station to tv) was to remove the switch from the docking station and tap (actually TAP, not with a controller) on the child to hug it. Once that was done I was able to ascend (and proceed to get lost in orbit 😅 )

i have a question about eden and beyond and don't know if its the place or not since i don't want to spoil anything. When you die we all know we are reborn with a number of wings ( and children of light) that is link to elevated spirit and seasonals but what happens when a krill hit you at that stage? would nothing happen, would you lose wings even though all the places where wings could be are filled since you just reborn or would we lose from spirit ?

not sure if you got an answer but yes you will lose your elevated spirit winged light (these are called wing buffs) if you are hit by a kril without having collected any other winged light from the realms. (i'm assuming you mean if you were reborn with all your wing buffs and headed straight to wasteland to get krilled or something)
the only way to get those wing buffs back is to go through eden again. you'll receive them once you are reborn again.

You can also go there just to claim the elder hair without saving any fallen children

Wing buffs will be the last ones to lose if you have WL.
Lost Wing buffs will always wait for you in orbit

Just a helpful tip for switch players (I don’t know if the bug is happening on mobile). There’s a bug where you can’t hug the child. All you need to do is undock your switch and tap on the child

guiding moths through eden gets to be quite easy more often than not once you get into the first krill area they kinda realize that you know what you're doing and seem to listen more, it's one of the more common spots i get them asking to friend, which makes it all easier
...until they get to the last krill spot and get a little too confident haha, that's happened far too often where they think the path is clear but the krill is coming right back. gets the krill aggro on me which is annoying sometimes

There's absolutely no way to 'save' your wl once you die. What you might be talking about is wing buffs, which in a way are 'upgrades' that you can get after dying.

There is no legitimate way to walk through the white door in orbit and have any more wings than what you rebirth with. (your wing buffs) You can test this out yourself. avoid the spirits on the path to not grab wing buffs and you'll see you still rebirth with your correct amount of rebirth WL + credits WL, no more than that. The game is coded to force the correct wing buff count with non Wing Buff WL being set to 0 before the credits star is awarded.
