Wall crack and ceiling work no problem to me try the crack closer to first lamp, ceiling is easier as chibi. You can also just fly.

You want to land on under leftmost tower (head to bright light spot) and then after landing go right through the pillar until you hit edge of platform.

Where clouds and that platform meet, look down. Right side is water, left side is land. You wanna land on the land (lol). Jump down on it and go left until you see very bright red triangle, thats where the prompt is. Say no to both to be teleported to WL cave.

If you are walking on invisible ground after last jump, you need to readjust your jump from the platform, there is hole in the invisible ground.

Yes, only to a much smaller degree because the rock delay is much shorter now.

In endless rain, even a 1% miss chance is huge.

I’ve gone to eden twice but I haven’t seen any black dye yet… I need it for the quest. How can I get black light?

black dyes can be found in golden wasteland, vault archive and eden (if you're lucky, wind path has all colours)

black is rather rare, so it's not uncommon for there to be none at all in certain places

The dye plants also reset every hour so likely you went on bad hour too.

First, they took it away and then they kind of put it back. Then now kind of some people can get through the crack and some people cannot. But you can still fly from the main door. Now there's also an invisible wall on both sides of the door so it gets a little bit difficult But if you can stay in the air, you eventually can get through. Also, they moved the landing space back further and almost a little bit lower. It seems to me so that we have to fly a little lower to the krills.
Also, they keep changing the path of actual eye of Eden, which is frustrating for me

Also, sometimes the black butterflies can be at Valley of Triumph. In the temple, there's a multitude of colors often and also on the steps toward the flight race. There are also more colors in the windtunnels where the candle cake is and also at the city at the end of windtunnels itself. I find those are the easiest places to getblack butterflies. Also forgotten arc has them sometimes. I can take you to some of those if you would like.

Thanks so much for that info. That explains a lot of issues I was having that I don't remember having in the past ... esp those darn grrrrrrr invisible walls down on the sides of the WL tunnel opening. It was so frustrating trying to hop down to the WL tunnel opening and not being able to do it. Also moving the landing space was driving me nuts.

You can´t actually buy dye from the shops, you get it from seasonal spirits. :) And kinda funny if you ask me, since I maxed black waaaaaay before white, mainly because good Goddess of Eden hours that were overflowing with black. White is more spread around and thus harder to max.

With the trials you can jump against wind to sometimes jump WAY higher than you normally can.

What I think was happening is the game was triggering those huge jumps and since there was wind, the snapping was fighting the wind making you jump in place.

Yep, during the stories, you're given a token to trade to the vendors to help the other vendors. I've finished the stories and found one just lying around. I think I walked up to all of the vendors, but no one was interested in my shiny.

Ah I see lmao. Yeah I would say if you’re looking to get on that ascended candle grind, every Sunday is probably the best time to do it since it’ll reset but I’ll be real I’m not too big on that. I just do it when I think it’s either been long enough, or in my current case, I’ll do it tomorrow to see if I can total out to 200 WL

177 currently, got a good group of wing buffs since then, and haven’t even gotten all the shard memories so I’m optimistic. Worst case scenario I just get Ascended Candles

Yay! I just completed this weeks Eden run for myself and it was the first time that I have managed to return to the start and I have 20WL left, I never expected to be able to do this especially after last weeks try not even being able to get back to the last lantern before the sand dune.

Time to die...

And it is the first time I have seen that with such clarity, wow, so dramatic...

those people have warp unlocked with their friends, thats the only way to hold hands in the orbit flying section afaik

you would honk and warp to your friend to hold their hand, so if you dont have warp you just have both players fly

You‘re not forced to do Eden again. Especially since red shards give ascended candles too (though you should go to Eden from time to time to collect your wing buffs). And the point of the game shouldn’t be to grind but to have fun playing together
After your first Eden run you‘ll first meet all the seasonal spirits in the realms, and maybe there are some seasonal areas/quests you haven’t done yet

As a primarily solo player it’s totally doable, just make sure to keep seeking out fun things and avoid getting into the mindset of obligation. That shouldn’t affect it. Did you look at your AC count before and after Eden? The ascended candles count up by themselves and you only forget the last one, so it‘s easy to miss that you actually got more

From Eden doors to going through pnr gate by flying I think is about 8 minutes at the very most. I watch both cutscenes to the end tho and I have wings open and I am continually flapping/recharging by clouds.

It might be closer to 5 but I never really counted. I can do eden door to orbit getting 15.75 in about 20 if I don’t get caught at the end waiting for godot.

When I went to Eden again to check, the statues that I definitely gave light to in my second run were again asking for WL in the third run again. So they had not been registered in the second run somehow…

You keep pushing till you hit 0. You get sent to limbo then interact with the glowing NPC

In terms of how to do better at it, it’s really just learning the timings and safe areas in the first half. You should get into a rhythm of pushing to a statue/safe place, waiting for the next wave to pass, then running for the near statues and heading back. Once you reach endless rain just keep pushing forwards, don’t fly or double back to relight or hide.
If it helps you to plan, there’s a map around here somewhere, and if you’re chibi or really tall keep in mind those affect your physics.

Once you hit enough WL it's really just a matter of brute forcing it while dodging the storm I feel

In a sense I hope they do more with the final light stage, but at the same time it would only add more stuff so if anything making the stage look cooler would be the only improvement I want them to make

More stuff as in, more stuff to do. If they add another level of WL gifting or more statues towards the diamond to play better and bear the storm, it would be more challenge for a little pay-off if you managed to maintain something like 50 WL by the time you pass the sand dunes so you can crawl towards the diamond

One VERY important thing to keep in mind before ragequitting - you are supposed to die in Eden, it is not about surviving

The true game starts after your first Eden run and technically you are not obligated(?) to do Eden anymore after that as you can get ascended candles from clearing shards too but it is recommended as you can get wing buffs from spirits and every wing buff makes you being reborn with more flaps after every run.

I’m not quite sure which you are calling the first krill. In Eden after the temple-like structure with 1 wl you go through one area of dodging rocks, at the top is a pipe with a forced cutscene. After that cutscene turn directly left and walk off the edge to get to the map stone

Weird, I just completed my Eden run for this week and it showed all my Wing Buffs before I went through the door and just added the one from orbit after, have they changed something? I normally see the later ones added after the door as we have come to expect.

I have just noticed my Sky Planner is out of sync with the game now as well, I only just got it correct during the Anniversary, I seem to be one wing buff un-accounted for again. This will drive me crazy (again)

Besides helping new players, is there any other benefit to doing Eden over and over? I see people doing runs of it but im not sure why

doing a run once per week can get you up to 15.75 ascended candles. ascended candles are useful for upgrading friendships, getting wing buffs from spirits (which are redeemed in Eden), and buying spells like permanent height potions

there's also cosmetics available from the realm elders that you can only obtain with ascended candles. and by going to eden, which is where you interact with the elders to open the friendship menus to get the cosmetics

you can also wait for a red shard eruption, but those are infrequent and can't earn you as much AC per week as an eden run

They do still have that wisp-form and well, their memories are encased in Darkness plants.

I wouldn't be surprised if their true form is that wisp and their full-bodied apparition is how they choose themselves to show up to us.

He could easily become trapped again by having the shards drain his spirit light enough if you ask me.

Hi everyone! I’ve only done Eden once, but with the change up on this week’s nest prop rotation I need to go back sooner than expected… is it worth bringing a fire prop? (I only have the massive wood burner). And are any experienced players doing a run tonight and might be willing to guide me? I’ve been shown a shortcut through maps 1 & 2 but not tried them yet!

a fire prop is helpful, especially when placed next to the flame sources already in the level

I did it solo and managed to get 13 AC, pretty happy! I was surprised though, I definitely bought two wing buffs (one from the latest TS and one whilst in orbit) but was only reborn with 2 - I thought you always started with 1 so I would have 3. Any ideas why or is it a bug?

Hello everyone, this may be a really stupid question, I've been searching everywhere a very specific explanation on wing buffs, I understand you can't claim them till after eden however does that mean I have to give all the statues a winged light and get to the very end to claim them? Or does it not matter if I can't get every single one and die early?

No worries! Two different things here, though they are related: as long as you go past PNR into the area with the statues, you can collect your wing buffs, doesn’t matter if you light any of them. Giving statues winged light gives you 0.25 ascended candles per statue, which is the currency you need to buy more wing buffs (though you can also get them from red shards in the other realms)

I think I know what they’re referring to there. When you get hit and lose light, you first lose any winged light collected around the realms, then when all that is depleted you lose the extra from wing buffs. You get those back next time you go through Eden and are reborn

Halloween might have passed, but there is always work to be done. Feeding the crabs, studying the crimson shards and specially burying the remains of petrified kids who didn’t make it to the end.

Lowkey although eden is extremely stressful it's so beautiful and I love how when you die, especially if you can't get to all the statues, it doesn't feel like a punishment or anything bad. It feels freeing and comforting. It's honestly beautiful and is a absolutely perfect calm after the storm. Eden/Orbit is one of the only cutscenes i refuse to skip over. Not to mention having Aurora be the voice of Rebirth? AMAZING. they did so well, I literally cannot picture a more perfect voice.
It also feels nice to just.. Slow down, after leaving Orbit. Running around trying to collect candles is stressful for me and often leads to burnout, but after Eden I like to take my time re-collecting WL

Just in general TGC did absolutely AMAZING on Sky and Eden, even after playing for about over a year now I can't help but admire how amazing they did making this game and encapsulating the freeing and comforting feeling of being free from Eden, even if you don't get to all the statues and stuff.
