Active Seasonal Spirits don't offer wing buffs in their tree. Only when they return as Travelling Spirit.
But to answer your question, yes. Just like any wing lock from base game spirits, they're wing buffs and will always wait for you in orbit whenever you lose them

In friend's trees the icons that look like wing buffs just unlock more abilities like piggybacking with a friend and more emote levels. I'm pretty sure if you see a blue light around your character in Eden its a spectating player who has already died, you essentially wait for any other players in the server to die before continuing/or you can hit a 'move on' option when it appears to carry on to orbit . I'm not sure about a blue light in orbit though I don't think i've seen that before

You are meant to die. Dying is the whole point. You can't survive Eden. The cutscene we're talking about is the one you see when you die.

In Eden you lose the winged lights you bought from travelling spirits. In Orbit (the glowy white place you go to after Eden) you get them all back again, for free. The ones you don't get back are the ones you just picked up on your trips through the reams: the golden glowy ones. Yuu have to collect those again.

What does an eden reset mean?

Once a week, you can go to Eden to give winged light and collect ascended candles. If you go multiple times on the same week, you can't collect more. The Eden Reset is when the week resets, and you can collect ascended candles from Eden again.

so you can double up visits to get ones you missed, but you can't get more than 15.75 AC per eden reset interval.

The Home Shrine in Aviary Village is partially active, I could activate it, but it didn’t send me anywhere.
Entering the last building on the right in Aviary Village sends you to Harmony Hall! If you exit HH, you end up back in Aviary Village, but if you go to the Village Theater and back, leaving HH will put you in the Village of Dreams.

i think from trying a lot, the nintendo switch is probably the best device for eden, because

1. has a control stick, so usable controls
2. has low fps due to behind a mobile chip from 2017, this makes the physics calculations less punishing

make sure to use highest resolution setting so it runs the laggiest 😂

This is a bug. It happened to me a ton playing on the switch. Whenever it happens you have to wait until it asks if you want to move on, click yes otherwise you'll be stuck until it gives you the prompt again

Normally what is supposed to happen is you spectate the other players in Eden as that blue orb, but sometimes the game breaks and you get sent to the void

It's not the Ascended Candles. You can just do Eden and red shards to save those up. When trying to get the third mask the big problem is hearts. You need a lot of hearts when buying all the stuff you need from the third constellation. Every visiting spirit that you want to spend hearts on presents you with a nasty choice.

I've tried refreshing, reopening, uninstalling and reinstalling, still nothing. I sent in a ticket days ago but haven't gotten a response yet. Any suggestions?

You can recollect all the winged light scattered around the realms once you’re reborn, and with wing buffs that you buy from spirits using ascended candles (the red candles) you can be reborn with more wings than you had before

For the aviary quest you can go back to aviary village after being reborn to complete the quest

They do it through having lots of wings, and being cautious near the end. There aren't any particular tricks other than to concentrate on lighting light shrines first before you revive the nearby spirits. It's possible but it takes a lot of time.

I have level 11 wing too, the problem is you can never hide behind any light shirnes in zone 2, let alone having no shrines in zone 3

There are at least two light shrines near the end that appear to be behind sheltering rock, but you will get hit by lava even if you're right next to the shrine. You have to know the map near the end very well.

But overall, it's just not worth doing. There's no special animation or prize for getting all the statues. You may get one extra Ascended Candle. So what ? They're not rare. You can get them faster and more easily from Red Shards. Finish Eden ten minutes sooner and stop tormenting yourself.

I have never recorded but I do always get all the statues unless something with a moth goes badly wrong. But tbh a lot of that is the fact that I have the fire torch prop and elder masks & I always use both. I often stick the torch up in a few set places in zones 2 and 3, it helps a lot. If you don’t have the torch, any other fire prop that has a strong recharge capability will help

Basically, yes. There are some spaces that can offer a bit of protection if you keep the light shrine on one side and place the charge on the other so you’re in the center. Often it still requires timing, just as the rocks slow you’ll reach full charge and can leave to do the next part

Each Elder gives a hair of some sort and their mask. The hairs aren't that bad with how much they cost, no more then getting a hair from a cheap traveling spirit I'd say. The masks cost like over a 100 each if I remember correctly. This is all in acended candles to so you have to grind eden to get one elder mask.

I don't know the exact costs for everything as I've only unlocked one elder mask, not even bought it yet.

yeah, each has a hair for 3-6 red candles, then isle, prairie, and forest have mask accessories which go for 125, 75, and 250

I had the same experience last week.
A rock hit me and the light source was quite far. Two skykids ran to me, collected my wings and lit me back to life. Then we went into Eden together. I lit them and they saved whenever one of us fell down. Finally, we reunited at orbid 🥺🥺🥺 so wholesome.

Could someone explain the wing buffs? Like two weeks ago I went to Eden and when I was walking out I got 45 winged lights but then today when I completed it for days of revival I got 44 winged lights?

It was console, and yes after rebirth I have 44. I unlocked all the trees for every spirit except one. So my main problem is how come I have 1 less light than I did previously when I unlocked more spirit trees 😭

How do we do a proper Eden run ? Is there a right way to do it ? I've only ever done it once with a friend, so any advice would be very helpful

im not sure about a right way exactly but the goal would be to get hit the least amount possible so you can carry as much as your light to the end, so figuring out the rock rain patterns and how it moves is really the most important thing past the point of no return, and i have a few things that might help

personally i like to stick around in the start of eden to light people up and go with someone, since if i take a rock to the face they might be able to save me, or me them heh. most i've ever done is 6 people in a group and it was a nightmare to track everyone's different paces but we made it in the end

I've heard some people say being shorter/chibi helps reduce your hitbox and you'll be hit less, but i've not felt that myself and go tall and spam jump like crazy to move a bit faster, and sometimes try to use the sit emote to crouch down a bit, maybe sneak stance helps too but im not so sure lol

important thing about the rock rain it comes in waves that move across the path you're going, heading away from the eden crystal, at a bit of an angle. for the earlier areas in PNR, you can see the rocks coming from the sky very clearly, and see when it starts to clear up - you can take that as an immediate time to make a run, and if you go a bit early you might take a rock to the face but you'll be quite ahead of the next wave, more than enough time to grab a few statues, or head to the next light spot

before the PNR there are a few simple shortcuts that can make your life easier, and the final krill before PNR is in probably the worst spot but if you make a good run for it and kinda hop around with spamming jump you can dive into the cave before it'll catch you, heh

The reset here is the reset of the number of statues you can save.

There is total 63 statues in Eden so you can only save 63 statues per week. If during your first trip to Eden, you save 40 statues, the the rest of the week, no matter how many times you go to Eden, you can only save the rest 23 statues. The ones you have already saved cannot be saved again.

Don't imagine there's a full physics engine in there. The simulation of rocks hitting your skykid is not detailed. Often it works, often it looks random. Try not to worry about it.

This was far from a good run (slow) but anyway. Here’s the stuff I was using. Some recharge props may be available from past season trees, the rest are from travelling spirits.
In terms of wings, I’ve only been able to finish it with 160 wings or more using elder mask & torch. I’ve seen others do it with less thou if they’re particularly good at rock dodging and know the rain patterns. If you’re new, there are 116 wings available in the main game, and 49 or so wings buffs available from the regular constellations, plus whatever wing buffs you’ve collected from travelling spirits.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to post the statue run here; the file might be too large. If the second video doesn’t show up below, DM me and I’ll send it to you.

Though I first started playing during the Season of Shattering I was brand new and felt confused and overwhelmed so I didn't stick to playing. I gave it another shot seeing it on switch but it was at the tail end of Aurora so I didn't get too much off that season but managed to fully complete Season of Rememberance and started into Season of Passage but trying to keep up wtih Candle Running since I had barely any and dailies just got me really burnt out since I was, and still am a solo player so I took a break. Only came back this time cause PC Demo xD

I don't remember how I learned of the PC Demo, I think I was looking up PC Sky cause I've always wanted it to be on PC since I'd have an easier time chatting with people, I can't do phone controlls to save my life and typing on switch is slow, and learned that there's a demo of it on PC. So I got back into it and have a decent routine where I hope I don't get too burnt out. I don't even bother getting full 20 candles every day just do as much as I can till my chevrons run out and the dailies.

First time I went to Eden, me and another player were basically hiding behind a rock, constantly sharing light just to stay alive. They had to have been a veteran, decked out as they were, so I'm not sure why.
In the end I thought "wait, if I go down I can still crawl, maybe that's it?"
It wasn't until the crystals grew on me that I understood.
Making my second full Eden run today, in a bit (I've ventured in to that final hall for wing light, but I need to reach the end now)

Hi! Question, do you guys prefer going to eden with chibi or normal height? I know it's probably a placebo but I wonder which height you guys are comfortable with when going

Chibi pros you can dodge shards/rocks and hide much easier but the cons are you struggle to jump on a tiny cliff sometimes thanks to being short

It also happens where when I used lowest graphic while my passenger didn't -- when I flew up the cliff after the Eden gate, I dodged the stones(not much stones) but my passenger actually fall away from me (Switch highest quality)

They got hit by stones whereas I didn't see much around us

That is what Eden is for, for you to be reborn. You get access to more spirits and can slowly increase your flying abilities

Try restarting your game. Once you're in the spooky home with all portals unavailable, try to climb onto the Eden gate and chibi fall inside. Then enter the Eden portal and go home. It should make everything good. (Alternatively you may be able to enter the season area and hopefully return to a normal home. I haven't tested that way yet)

Each Eden statue can only be saved once in a week so try to remember when you last went. They reset on Sundays

yes, you gain any buffs you purchased from spirits in orbit, be they base or travelling spirits, so that you are reborn with however many WB you bought previously, and the 1 WL in orbit.

Just be careful not to skip past the path (such as by handhold teleporting), as that can cause you to skip collecting some of the buffs (Which I'll be honest was not something I knew was possible until last week, when I did it by accident)
