Instant recharge potions are great if you have your menu set to them right before the never ending rock rain. Fast recharge spells are great for the rock spotlight section.

Either way, I haven't done Eden for a week now, and sooner or later I won't be doing any Eden runs for a while.

Reason being is because the new Zelda game drops May 15th, and I'll be busy playing much of that, rather than Sky. I still love Sky but it's gotten to the point where I feel no longer emotional attachment. It's still there, but... well, things out of my control happened and I have to face reality.

Well I’d say take your time and wait so you don’t get bodied so quickly, witch happened to me XD

If you need help with the shortcut I can help. As for past PNR, Lighting the candles is the first priority (followed by the statues) coz if u get hit and have no candle u are kinda screwed. Listen to sound queues. Don't run when you can see torrents of rocks falling/red rocks hitting the ground. The same thundering sound effect that plays in the previous area before a rock rain also plays here so listen out for that. Take your time, there is no time limit for Eden so honestly the more careful you are the better you will end up. Also something I learnt the hard way, u have to make your decisions instantly. If you falter it can cost you a hug amount of wing lights. Last part is after a certain point, the rock rain is continuous so the only thing u can do is keep pushing on even if u have no light.

If you are going up for just the winglights, the shortcut should be safe

Gonna pop in to say that audio cues are far less reliable in PNR than visual cues

The audio in PnR does not actually provide a helpful cue for when it's safe to run - they don't line up It's much better to watch for the fragments of red rocks that shatter on the ground while the rain is falling, and running when they're gone.

My last eden run was the first with the prairie mask. I think it helped me get the last statue because I entered the "no torches, permanent storm" area with around 100 wl

It also helped a lot that I was running around with a bunch of random that helped light torches and refill.

I'm not 100% sure how many Hits the mask took because it felt like it broke after 3-4 direct hits

hi I don't know where to ask this but when I go into eden with other people I get a bug after I complete eden and instead of going to the next scene I'm somewhere in the clouds and can't interact with anything

That's a common bug caused because the server pulls you to another one where skykids are still alive, making the game confused

if you're stuck in void bug after dying in eden, you can either;

• wait a while till a prompt pops up
• disconnect, wait a while then reconnect and hope for a server split
• restart your game

If you mean after dying you’re stuck as a blue light? Then it’s not a bug, when there’s other people there, you’re meant to follow them until they die, or if it takes too long, you’ll get a prompt to move on after 10 min

Dying in eden is necessary. All you need to do here is give your WL to the statues scattered there, as much as you can, until you 'die'. Then you'll proceed to the next stage

Blue light? That's because there are still other players in the server that's not done with giving their WL and such. You can just turn off connection, wait a while and turn it back on to force a server split

It doesn't cost hearts to get them. But you do need to complete the constellation of Isle, Prairie, and Forest to firstly get the hair then the masks become available for you to buy with ascended candles.

does anyone that play on switch go to edens storm and have it take extremely long to die? i went to eden like 2 days ago and i swear im not joking when i say this but it took almost 10 minutes for me to reach the afterlife, and i only had like 160 light children, idk if this is a bug or not but theres also been a delay in even doing basic tasks like redeeming candles and such

The pause before you get asked whether you want to wait for your friends is between 5 and 10 minutes. So yes, you can wait 10 minutes after death before you find yourself in the … isolation realm ? I don't know what to call it. This whole phase, after you've given away all your wings, is supposed to be slow and peaceful with no pressure on you. So try not to rush through it.

In practice that's very difficult because lots of players do it every week and they just want to get back to their Home Island.

Usually about 70-80 is a good start, but if it's your second time going and you wanna get more, go for it! You'll be able to get more statues that way, and that means more AC

I was at the end of Eden, there were a few other people in the room and I died and it did the normal thing where I turned into a blue light while I waited for them. Then I got the "do you want to continue alone" pop up and I selected "no" but then instead of just having me follow the people who weren't dead, I was transported to a white room with a bunch of clouds...? And it seemed like I was ascending really fast. There were wind noises and stuff. This lasted for minutes, then I was transported to what looked like an oob of an Eden room. Red, I believe there were some floating rocks, but not many objects. I was a blue light for all of this. Then after maybe 3-5 minutes of this it took me back to the regular final room right before one of the other players started dying

I have some footage but it's on my switch. I can post it in here if you want to see it to get an idea of what I'm talking about, or if this is a common bug lmk. I've been playing for almost 2 years now and never seen this but I haven't been to Eden regularly in a while and I know they've changed some stuff

You might be talking about the bug when player are stuck as a blue light in black and white kinda void, it’s a common bug that people generally encounter, you can get past it by waiting 5-10 minutes until the pop up to move on appears or in your case, everyone in the server dies

You can also try to change the server but then you’ll not ascend with your friend by this method

You probably managed to donate more than half, since 6 candles suggests you donated at least 24 winged lights (4 lights = 1 candle).

Next time try bringing more (there’s a total of 113ish winged lights scattered around the realms), and you should get more candles *:D

Yeah the maximum amount of “flaps” you can get these days is 12, but that requires wing buffs from spirits and traveling spirits. Not sure how many lights that is, but it takes 150 to get to 11 flaps

Heyo, congrats on completing your first Eden run! So basically, all your winged lights will be gone after you do Eden, but that's the point: you lose your wings so you can get Ascension Candles (AC). After doing Eden, all your winged lights will reset to their original locations, so you'll have to collect them again. Also, with the AC you got, you can use them to buy wing buffs from spirits (they appear as a wing icon with a lock on it in the spirit tree). These will add to your initial wing count every time you are reborn

Note that the locked wing icons in friends' trees do not count towards wing buffs

That's because each statue you save in Eden counts toward 1/4 of an AC (4 statues = 1 AC). There are 63 statues total, making the max AC you can get per week 15.75

I both agree and disagree. I feel it needs balanced. In the statue area, it needs to be less. Hrm. Crawlheavy. I dont mind if i have to walk, but I’ll get animation looped when I get hit of standing up from a crawl just to fall back over, during which I can’t move. Which is just unnecessary stress imo.
But before the statues, i think it could be made more difficult IF some of the bugs with wind were dealt with. I’ve gotten yote halfway across the map from a hop down from a ledge once, no rocks involved. Occasionally a hop will try to put me onto a rocky peak for some reason, which I will then miss from the wind picking me up and doing away with me. If the gravity was a bit higher or something, i wouldn’t mind it being a little bit more difficult, but only if the rewards matched the difficulty.

Man, I remember when it used to take me and my friends an hour or two to go through Eden, now I can knock it out in like 30 minutes, and the longest part is ascending really, it takes so long

I just did the opposite for the first time in a long time. I'm used to handling Eden in 30 minutes but today I came across a five-wedge kid near the beginning of the first climb. They were obviously scared and confused. What I should have done was get to a safe place and set out a chat chair and briefed them on what they'd find. Instead I helped them all the way through Eden and the statues, encountering others on the way, until I went for the end of Eden, leaving them cowering behind a rock. I don't know for certain but I think they didn't realise they had to run out of wings. So they were probably terrified near the end. Whole thing took perhaps 80 minutes, leaving me enhausted.

You start from the edge of the tunnel leading into the area (don't step off onto the sand) and switch to 'soar mode' immediately you're in the air. Then just fly up and to the right. It takes perhaps four flaps to get near it, and another to adjust position so you can land.

Those are the statues you saved by giving your wls, and yes you can go there, but you’ll need a friend with a white candle to fly that high, and no, you won’t be able to claim them as wing lights, its pure visual but it does look damn good from up there

To answer your questions:

Yes, the winged lights respawn at all their original locations, so you'll have to collect them again

That person likely has wing buffs, which are purchased from spirits to give you a boost to your wing power each time you are reborn, which answers your next question;

Those candles - Ascension Candles (AC) - are best used on wing buffs from both base game spirits and Traveling Spirits (TS) - spirits from past seasons that return every other week

Eden does have a reset time, only once per week. The !edenreset or !er command can be used in this server to see when it resets for you (in your timezone!)

to add to this there is a bug if you could call it on your end with elder masks, now that you can see them glow on your end not just from our end, they load broken then fix themselves.

something like that is really hard to measure because how well you do in eden is really determined by how much you know the map and wether or not you’ll be able to avoid falling/flying rocks
i do recommend going in with at least 60 if it’s your first couple of times

Mmh, and if you can, I recommend going with friends to Eden! They can help with keeping you lit, sure, but mostly because it's more fun with company
And in terms of recovering wl afterwards - I never do it in a single run. I spread out the hunt and grab wls while I CR, which I find less exhausting.
(And you can always ask for a wl Uber in #looking-for-group-live ofc! Or team up with friends again.)

What are you talking about/gen? It's intended that you can't get out once you're in pnr, it's part of gameplay. Any glitches to take you out of pnr are glitches/bugs that aren't part of the game. They're free to patch them whenever they want, especially if those bugs are used to bypass gameplay features

Once you're in PNR it's intended that you can't go to the any realms, this is called storm lock, it's why it's called PNR (point of no return) You're meant to finish PNR. I'm unsure of what you're talking about exactly but if you're talking about a glitch to get out of pnr, then yeah it's good to expect they'll be patched eventually

Just today after lighting up all statues I ded and had to look at two moths who I helped through the first two levels but left behind. They were terrified all the way, especially of losing light. If you miss some statues your first run through after the last reset, you can return with more winged lights to free the remaining statues, but the ones you freed the first time through can’t be freed again until after the next reset

something like that is hard to calculate, as the amount of AC depends on how many statues you save (1 statue = 1/4 AC, 15.75 AC max = 63 statues)
and that depends on how well you know the map, how well you can avoid krills and flying rocks, how many wl you lose in the rock rain, etc
80 is a pretty good number to get to know eden better though, if its your first few times

Okay help, idk if this was a glitch or not. Entered the second part of Eden, let the scene play where the krill flys toward the big pipe structure, I climbed the stairs and the second scene played. THEN A RED KRILL LIGHT WAS ON ME?!?!?! I sprinted back down the stairs and i heard the charging krill sound but I got inside before it hit me. 144 is a bit much considering the amount, but assuming that you got those by the ascending spirits. I would say no, don't go back because you're losing all of your winged light for 4 statues. Wait for the reset and then try again

If one unintentionally got into PNR, there was (or still is) a way to escape out of it without losing or giving WLs.

There's 63 statues in eden, so if you want to get close to max weekly limit (15.75 AC per week) it's best to have somewhat 100+, maybe 120+ unless you really know how to protect your light in the storm

75-80 is somewhat okay for those in the middle

hah, no I’ve been playing for nearly a year now I’m not strong with where winged light is, and I think that 7,8 wedges is enough to go around with my candles run, so I don’t spend much time looking for winged light - if it’s conveniently in the path of where I’m candle running, I’ll take it though!
I’m fairly good at going around eden but not so much in storms.
100 winged light- I don’t know where I’d find that much by myself I’m part of a smaller sky group that’s quite nice, and we have winged light runners who will help there. I’ll ask them whether they would like to!
Wing buffs are about 20,21 winged light. I’m a moff sometimes like that

I think there is a somewhat pattern in the 3rd zone, or at least triggers, irraticallity seems to alevate this, that being said, you can definitely screw yourself up.

The only place I would say elder mask should be used is eden, it makes so much difference, without it you may get all 63 statues but with it, getting all statues is basically 100% confirmed

Interacting with Skybot has no impact on the game. The cooldown it's referring to is the !edenreset command that triggers the timestamp response.

Every time the command is used in the discord, you need to wait a few minutes before it can be used again. But you don't need to wait as long when using the command in a DM with Skybot! That's the "shorter cooldown."

As you get closer to the big pink crystal, the red rocks occur for more of the time, until by the time you get near to it you get continuous red rocks. You cannot complete the level and get to the pink crystal before you die. It is literally impossible.

No. One statue takes on wl. Also note that although it looks like there are heat-shrines all the way to the end. as you get close to the end there is no safe place to stand to warm yourself up. Even right next to the heat shrine you get hit by rocks. So don't worry about it: you're not playing the game badly, that's just how it is.

Nothing, and I mean nothing ruins an Eden run with a loved one quite like game bugs forcing you into different instances so you have to fly to Orbit alone

Frankly, 13 lights is good. Anything more than that requires a lot of wedges and a good memory for which statues you have already rescued. Note that you can do Eden many times in a week (between Eden Resets) and rescue the statues you didn't rescue before. But to make it worth your while you would have to gather a lot of WL and go through the whole of Eden again. That's a lot of work for very little gain.

There's no trick to avoiding the void bug, as it's a matter of bad luck with server merging. But it's possible to stick together afterwards (although you'll need to communicate outside the game to pull it off).

If you wait until the "would you like to continue without waiting for others?" appears, then all select "yes" at the same time, you have a high chance of sticking together for the Orbit flight immediately afterwards

I'm sorry for the late ping, but imo, it really depends on if you know what you're doing in any height. some would say chibi because you can dodge rocks, some would say tall because you're more resistant towards the harsh wind. personally i prefer my regular-tall height. i tried using chibi once and i was all over the place. but i was saved by a chibi player who knows how to navigate well

regarding your second question; chibi mask does over-ride your height, but it stays that way until you take it off. say you're tall then you use chibi mask. if you take it off, you'll go back to your height, which is tall

Helped some folks today threw eden. Several got stuck in interesting places. A lot seem to not know how to avoid the rocks in the first section.

First time I ran through Eden, I found a chibi who was faring better than I did. Being a smaller target to hit is a really big perk. Especially for hiding and the rocks

Gotta admit, after going through eden for the 1st time (managed 7 candles from about 70-75 wl) I really thought it'd be tougher, until the end. Then I regretted it all and I think it was easier because I was used to similar situations in other games so I could luckily handle myself. Still I saw others going and I saw someone in a mask (unsure who but furry thin cape and mask) who encouraged me while also helping everyone else. Tbh without players like that Eden would become outright terrifying. I'm hoping my brother gets a good amount of wl by the next reset so I can help guide him through his first time. I think I got all if not most of the statues un the first area but I saw nobody at the end while giving the light. This made it much scarier and tougher. Now though I realized there's much more than the little bit I experienced and that makes me excited but also a bit scared. I hope I can be lucky to have a guide or someone I can help to get further in. Those rocks are brutal and the rocks on the way up love my face. Eden was worthwhile for me for my first run but it definitely was unexpected. Going in unprepared and clueless is a quick way to miss a lot. If someone seems to have a tough time help them out because the sights are beautiful and some of the best I've ever seen! Definitely bring all the wl you can. Helps up to the point of no return and lets you keep more easier. 3 wedges up there was an experience that changed how I saw it. Having 7 was a fine start though. If someone seems to be guiding they may actually be and it'd be safer to follow (unless you're dumb like me and skip from rocks to rocks and struggle for light).

Anyway I just wanted to say I'm proud of the players that help. Even though I may have not needed it the help I was given still encouraged me to get through. It helped me build up the confidence to go into the finale. Random guide player, you may have went back to help more people but you assisted me more than you would ever know!

The ultimate gift from the elders of the first three realms are 'elder masks'. These masks can withstand one blow, no matter how hard, of the type which would normally cause you to lose lights. They are useful in Eden, but also against krill or even crabs. The blow shatters them. To get them repaired, you have to visit the elder who sold you the mask, either in their temple or in Orbit. Although they are called 'gifts' they are actually very expensive. The elders require you to buy lots of things from the other spirits of the realm, and also to pay 75, 125 or 250 Ascended Candles for the mask itself.
