As other people have posted, there is no surviving. The game kills you at that point. Even if it looks like you're about to get to a safe place, you will die anyway. Your winning is the friends you made on the way. For further information, play Journey.

If not for this game, I would probably still be suffering badly from thanatophobia. Every time I think about death, I used to think there was nothing. That was it, Game Over. Eternal darkness.

Eden was teeming with life today for some reason, probably because of the TS. But I met two groups going in and I acted as the savior of the group and rescued as many as I could. The first picture is my first group, the second one is my second group. Both were chaotic fun and both parties even had some fun!

When you die in Eden you become a flying glowing blue dot, but it is intended to be hovering around a pink-ish sky with floating black gravel and periodically approach to white dots for around 10 min? I'm almost sure it was a bug, I just wanted to confirm it.

nope, that would be a common bug happened due to server merge. usually you could either wait a while, restart the game or turn off your internet connection then turn it on again

Idk, I think it's like a weird miscommunication where the game messes up the change from dying to the other location. So you get stuck on that weird screen that just flickers in white and black.

Its a bug when instead of getting your blue light follow remaining ppl in Eden game sends you above clouds. Its because there are still people in Eden when your character dies. Same with proper "following certain person" variant what you got to do is just wait for remaining ppl to die, wait for a pop up message to show up (asking if you want to move on without waiting for others) or close and reopen the game but then you will be separated from your friends.

it really depends whether you know what you're doing or not

i know some are expert as chibi in eden, while some prefer their normal height

I've been going to eden with tallest height, personally I haven't experienced crazy hitbox stuff, it's more like having issues with your skid getting on top of rocks you didn't mean to jump onto, from my experience chibi just makes eden runs more difficult as you can barely jump and have limited options on what paths you can take, it's more likely you aren't standing as near as possible to the structure, or its just a bad spot

obviously that's only my own experience, it might actually be your height but hey, it be like that sometimes

idk if it makes my statement more trustable, but I go there very often as I like hanging out with people and look for moths that might need help, people in need of a hand overall.

I just read what Velvet said, that's true, as long as you know what you're doing, height doesn't matter at all.

A lot in the past year. Unless you're staying off all socials medias you should know the kind of changes it went through Unless you haven't been playing sky at all. Pnr map was changed, there's a new crawling mechanic, the rock rain system is a lot to different to what it was a year ago and you will lose wl depending on your total wl count and rng

The more you have in that moment in time the more you will lose yeah. It used to be 1-3 per hit no matter how much you had, which made it easier to get to the end but those with a ton of wl would finish pnr too quickly and would need to wait a few minutes to die. Now at 150+ wl you will lose 5-6 wl per hit (+1 in dark water occasionally) at 50 and less you will start losing 1-2 (+1 in dark water) and in between it's around 3-5. It was an attempt to balance out the whole system

It's all about taking your time and knowing when to go, really. Observe the patterns visually and audio that follows it, especially in the red spotlight zone in point of no return. Go around 3 seconds or so after the red spotlight showers rocks upon the area, at least that's what works for me.

so by that;I should be able to get close in about three to four months time
That’s if I don’t burn myself out first…..😞

It's really up to you, all Elder masks protect the same, although there's been rumors Forest is the strongest, but despite that rumor, the same mask only takes one hit from a single Krill before needing to be recharged again.

Really, it's not worth the effort unless you make it a goal. It's a long term goal in the end, just like tier 2 capes but with the added functionality that you have an extra layer of defense at your side, it more so acts like another wedge in terms of shield, I guess.

I pretty much have 12 wedges already just by wearing that an Elder mask, because it acts like another singular wedge I personally believe when you're extinguished.

But that's just me. Moderation is a peaceful practice :3

If it's long term goal, then I'd suggest spacing it out more and doing Eden as you feel.

Yes you fall under the tunnel and to the left side of it. You need to jump all the way down, cross dark water stream and walk up while keeping to the left, this way you get out. Kinda hard to explain 😅

Some players are quite sensitive and need Eden spoiled for them IMHO. Just now myself and one other kid spent about 20 minutes in the Eye of Eden helping one poor moth who was totally stressed out. She had no idea what to do, didnt give any light to statues, didnt follow any of us, just roamed around aimlessly. She got hit a few times, we lit her. She was trying to crawl under rocks in fear, it was painful to watch. We were all around her but she didnt pay attention. At some point she stood with her face against the wall on the far right side of the area and wouldnt move. It took us a while to get her sit at the table I placed. The other kid played guitar for her, we did tons of different emotes, spammed honks etc. She did sit after a while and I explained everything to her. She said she had no idea what was going on. She followed well after and was able to light all statues in the first part and some in the second part of the Eye. Im daily in Eden and I see moths being like that quite often. Im lucky if they sit with me and let me explain cause they almost never do so. And if they do they dont always speak English (average moth has no idea theres translate function in the chat). Tbh no experience is worth that amount of stress 🥺🥺❤️❤️

Usually before the point of no return, if the moths I meet look like they struggle a LOT, I'll either explain to them via table prop or they end up friending me, and sometimes I will go in if I haven't done Eden that week.

But I don't explain to them the point is to die, I encourage them to not quit when it looks like there's no way out. Because majority of moths usually just quit the game right then and there when they're almost dead in point of no return.

Its all good for less sensitive players. Some players are just taking whole Eden situation very close to heart. I have to remind them its just a game. Ppl have literal breakdowns when krilled in Eden, they cry and leave in fear, then dont go to Eden for months. I did full Eden 3 times today and on some days I can do more times. I have no problem to go in with others as all my wings are buffs and I dont care about them 😅 Stressed people barely sit at the tables. Heres another moth I met in Eden a few days ago (on the right). She was exactly like my todays moth, but she didnt sit and didnt let me explain. I had to leave her there at some point, unfortunately.

When you appear at the stat of eden, go home and use return shrine. You should end up in an eden w rocks where you can die

so people often prefer to avoid explaining how eden works unless someone is really worried about what will happen with their game so they can get their first-on experience with the realization of dying being the only choice to "finish" the game

Chibi fall glitching to get out of eden doesn't require you to die If you haven't done it right (or I just read it wrong) and want to do it again, you need to enter the eden gates at home through chibi falling, enter eden and then just teleport home. Don't go to pnr or even past the 8 player door

My first experience on Eden was smooth sailing. I had two players that helped me along the way and teach me that the last section you have to give the wings and die there, that’s why I now understand why that area is called point of no return

I somehow know a few tricks in my sleeves during the process (like hide in lantern spots during rock rain, and deep calling when reaching the continuous rock rain area)

I could do better on helping the stoned children, but with the hide spots and good timed jumping I think I can do this solo again once Eden resets

Ah to get a high number of winged light you need wing buffs, there are 100 something winged lights in all the realms and 40 something wing buffs in base game constellation. You can get just under 150 from that. Travelling spirits also carry wing buffs making the max wl possible 200 something. Which is 12 wedges, though need to have most travelling spirits wing buffs (have been playing since near the beginning of sky) for 200+. Buying wing buffs and memorising winged lights location will get you to a good number pretty quickly

Something I'm curious about, my current assumption is you gotta make it to close to the end that final stretch for your death to count, where the rocks are just a never ending onslaught,
or is it just if you lit up enough of the statues to get any winged lights back?

Every statue that you light up equals part of an Eden candle. So the more you light up the more candles you get (with a maximum of 15 candles I think). The winged light you get back by using your Eden candles to unlock the wing buffs from spirits and each buff gives you some of your wings back (and makes your maximum larger)

Like the shield is meant to protect my winged light, instead one winged light got taken away. Maybe because of the dark water? I dunno.

that is because they have wing buffs, you can get wing buffs from regular spirits which look like 🔓 and also travelling spirits ! To be able to get the wing buffs you need ascended candles that you have obtained after completing the game :)

I want some tips for my first eden run

collect as many wl as you can
look for cover from wind and rocks
skipping/jumping can help you get to the next safe spot faster (but try not to fly, because the wind might knock you around)
at some point in the area behind pnr (point of no return), the rock rain doesn't take breaks anymore, it is a continuous hail - at that point all you can do is run in and get as many statues as you can, crawling to the statues if needed
if possible, try and cling to other people that are doing eden at the same time, because you can light each other up and help each other survive longer

I chibi fell and made it to eden and returned using the shrine there as recommended, but it was still the same. Currently im just going through eden capeless. It seems like its possible for me to grab new winged light, but i dont really want to as i really just want to receive my ascended candles and go through the cutscenes as normal

I see I have very little experience doing eden this is only my third time so I've yet to successfully get all the statues. First time I think I had 60 WL. Second I had 80 and this time to try and get the statues I missed I have 101 soooo surely this must go better then the previous attempts.

Though I'm always way more impressed with people that play on their phones. I do sometimes but I suck so much more at doing regular stuff sometimes.

Also tips for doing 2nd part of pnr (continuous rock rain part).
Two far left statues in the very beginning of it can be done through the crack from the 1st part of pnr real quick and safe.
2 lamps in 2nd part of pnr are totally useless, theres no point staying by them at all. They are the 3rd and the 5th (last) ones. Just skip them alltogether, you will lose wings if you hold on to them 😅 More tips once we are done with trials 😁

I do 2 far left statues through crack mentioned above,
then light 3 statues by the 2nd lamp,
very quickly run and light statue thats on the way to the 3rd lamp without even coming close to that lamp,
once its lit I run towards the right side and light a lonely statue on the way to the 4th lamp, then light the 4th lamp,
from there run back, light 2 statues, return to the lamp,
run left, light statue there and back to the lamp again,
4th lamp is last safe one, i quickly light all statues on the way to the 5th lamp but dont light the lamp itself and dont stay there, its pointless,
just run ahead and light rest of the statues and if im hit i keep crawling ahead.
Elder shield mask helps a lot, wearing it I often get to sand dune unharmed. But even without the mask its possible to light all statues. Id say if you still have about 60 wings when you reach sand dunes you should be fine.

After you've done it two or three times you remember almost all the positions and just treat it as one big tour. Takes perhaps an hour. But I generally split it up into two days, do the easy realms on day one, and use those wings to do the harder realms on day two.

@viscid root its possible depending on how lucky you are. But you will be quite tight. The more wings you have the more of them will be knocked off you with each rock hit. With 117 wings and no elder mask its usually all but 2-3 statues for me.

i just did eden with a friend and after the flight before orbit, i ended up at the aurora concert instead of orbit lol
i don't even really know how exactly that happened
the game had glitched before, while in a different part of eden so i had to quit the game and return back from home, and then me and my friend both ended up at the concert. me with my wings back, my friend completely without because the have no wings buffs yet.

i don't even know how i would report this as a bug because i don't know how it happened.

my friend said she has heard that there was a bug where people would get teleported to eden during the concert but not the other way around.

wait i thought that was intentional. during one of the concerts in season of aurora i was flying through rebirth, making my way to the light to get candles when it faded to white early and teleported me to the aurora concert were she started singing queendom. i was so confused, i had no cape and just had to wait it out (hadn't realized you could teleport home mid concert yet). after that i was teleported back home (everything was dark and i could only use the return shrine. which is intentional.) and got put back at the beginning of rebirth.
TLDR: Aurora interrupts my death for her concert

Once you've completed a certain constellation (100% it) by buying everything except for tier 2 capes, you can buy the elder hairs/masks (masks are only available for isle-hidden forest, the rest aren't here yet.) for ascended candles in orbit's constellation place!

A few tips is turning on your music after PNR (Basically after all the krills) but it works well even before pnr, the sound of the wind helps you know when rocks are coming.
For PNR, the sound of wind signals more rocks rather than little to none, pay close attention to it

Any tips on learning how to fly in eden, also learning the shortcuts? I am watching youtube tutorials atm just looking for some extra tips. And also, is there certain amount of wedges i would need to do this?

You can fly in certain places before pnr, but it’s tricky to learn. I’d say experience eden some more before trying to do that…. Shortcuts are relatively easy to do so maybe you can learn that…. Generally for new players, 70-80 wings is recommended but take as much as you can

There is one exploity skip going the long way around in the clouds but aside from that,

For the first skip, a good 7 wedges will do it, you can do less but requires more timing. Fly into the wind with a climb then curve your way to the top in the direction of wind.

For the second skip its just past the first door, after the rocks fly pass, leap and flap/glide to the small pipe with darkness, couple wedges required.

3rd skip is just after pipe, you'd need 7+ wedges, fly straight and upwards to the broken section at the back of the big pipe.

If you get wedges fast here walk back out then simply flap upwards too the top of the pipe.

4th skip is like the second, only to the gateway.

After that its normal to the main door, make sure you take the outside path on the right.

And thats my pathing, usually go up and down it helping others that's the practice i get.
