From what I do is, I grab her hand and she lead me to the shared space shrine. I open one and she admire it and let go of my hands. I wait until she move and follow her. She admire again and the quest done

Its not just one server sky is running on… Sky is running on multiple servers (millions of daily players daily on only one server would be… major technological success) but the servers are all based at the same location and they run the game together with the code that it resets at that time (12pm for tgc)

Then you have to create a new one for the 4rth quest that you are currently doing, if I am not mistaken it should be for this spirit ⬇️ and you would have to create a space to help the spirit release their sorrow. Place several items in the shared space and the spirit will deny for a disapproval or nod for an approval

Try placing several furnitures or decorations in the shared space, as I said, the spirit will nod if they like that item, else they will make a gesture of denyal.
When you will have placed all the furnitures that the spirit liked, the quest will be validated

As in if it has a special ability, no, it does not. There is a brief interval where an interaction with a prop, emoting, or similar can make a krill not damage you when attacking, but it is difficult to get accurately, and while the shield interaction could work, this trick is NOT specific to the shield.

In short: It is not an ability, but rather a play on timing the interaction.
