In og home you're at the portals much quicker and it has less distraction and stuff to do than aviary. It's just a personal preference, nostalgia or just being used to it can be factors too
Also, aviary was part of Light Awaits before it became Sky so technically, aviary is the oldest home before it got revamped

No, if you hit play on steam you create another account and then can't link steam to an existing account anymore.
You login on phone with your regular account, then open settings on the top right corner ingame, select account, and link steam there

There was a bug where all remaining wax vanished when candle turned grey (which was usually when you get 20)
Devs set the limit when you turn grey to 25, which cannot be reached, to avoid the bug

Hi guys , Did the deep honk bug that started from grandma's place spread to other places like the isle of dawn? I was on the isle of dawn looking for candles and there was another player did a deep honk in the cave where there is a wl next to the passage stone and i was carried there like when i was at grandma's place.

Then earlier I also did a deep honk at a geyser, then something similar happened but it didn't carry me far as explained earlier, it only floated a short distance.

Geyser gives max. 1000 which takes 3-4 visits and granny also gives 1000 max. Turtle gives 151 from darkness and big clam, but the clams underwater are random and can give between 159 and 337 wax.
How many candles you get depends on how many chevrons you have left (the 3 little arrows on your candle)

I think you're misunderstanding something haha, it's not "unfair" for being an older player and getting more Wing Lights than them from all of the previous TSes you have unlocked/ascended. You and every other player, old and new, get Wing Buffs the same way. Having more than the other isn't unfair or a disadvantage

According to what I understood 1026 wax brings back 9 candles and geyser and grandmother bring 1000 each so that's 2000 so 9+9 is equal to 18 it means that by doing geyser and once grandma This brings in 18 candles but it is not consistent. Does it bring back 1000 if we go there as many times as possible this to say 3 times at the geyser?

No, it's not 9 plus 9. Only the first 9 candles per day need 1026. The next 9 candles (to reach 18 in total) need a lot of more wax, according to the table. With 2000 wax you can get max. 14 candles. For 18 candles you need 2719 wax.
The amount of wax needed to get 1 more candle gets higher the more candles you already collected on that day

Does anyone know why I would have a blue target star appear when I deep call in the underground caverns (just like when you have a quest that you have to find someone) I have relieved all spirits in the game and yet I have seen this appear over the last few months, I keep forgetting to ask about it. It is impossible to get to, or I haven't found a way, it is outside the caverns and low down.

I can recommend doing anything that brings fun for you. If you don't like what you're doing and feel like collecting wax is a task rather than a fun thing, then you might risk burn out and loosing the joy of playing Sky.
So you can try out different places everyday and see what you like, you can also ask other people which places they like for collecting wax.
I switch between Village of Dreams with the 2 candle cakes and Harmony Hall (music challenge there also gives you 100 wax), doing the yeti race, or the other 2 races in Valley, I also like being in Forest so I mostly cr there, Sanctuary Island has 3 candle cakes and currently the shortcut via the days of nature guide
Some of my friends also like doing Vault (maybe the first 2 floors only, bc it's quick) and others enjoy wasteland, but I only go to Wasteland on Sundays bc then there's more wax. I also like diving for clams in Treasure Reef and there's the eel that gives you 500 wax when you follow it which takes ca. 10-15 min but can be a bit tedious.
If you like doing trials or have an uber who's good at the shortcuts, you can get 600 wax there in maybe 10 min

Unfortunately sky doesn't give us a choice, you have to grind season everyday both as a payed player (to get everything out of your money otherwise you lose money) and a free player to get even one or 2 items from the season. Sky makes it unfun by giving us these restrictions.

I play a few free games, and sky is the only you need to put at least 2h to get value / 1h if you're lucky with time and on good consol (which Switch 1 users have the worst as it lags most game, and I'm on Switch)
I play Pokemon Unite too, and you don't need to put more than 2, 3 games (of 10 minutes) to get vallue out of daillies. Sky really is the only one where a free game makes you play 1 to 2h constantly on a daily basis.

Pokemon TCG Pocket, which I also play, is probably the best free game to play. There are no time restrictions at all. That is the game I have the most fun in. They vallue their free player very well! Tones of gifts are given at each new pack release, and you are able to earn a tone hourglasses with missions that you are free to chose when to play them. No restrictions at all.

Playing SKY is an offer, you can choose to spend your recreational time there or not. When the grind is too much, I just do dailies and 2x granny. No need to cr 2h or more per day.
I also know people who just ignore the seasons or events bc they don't like or need the items anyway. Doing dailies for the sc takes 5 to 15 min per day depending on the quests and even if you don't buy season pass you can still unlock all free items. Paying real money is your own choice, you know in advance that you have to play nearly daily to get the stuff, and if you don't feel like it you don't have to play it or spend your money on it.
I play on switch too and it works as fine as on any other platform for me the only thing I notice it takes 1 more second to arrive at home or enter a realm

Yes, it's always the argument of "you chose to play the game however you want". I'm explaning to you based on my experience of playing many free to play games. I explained (in my edited version) how other free to play games do it better (you can chose to read).

My switch lags: just turning the camera is a lag. the inputs lag. Im happy you are having a better experience than me, but my switch experience is aweful. Unforinately it takes A LOT more than just "15 mintues" to complete dailies for me. It usually takes an hour minimum. And I know it's not my Switch, since my Switch runs all the other games just fine. It's a Sky problem.

I still have some hope Sky will learn from other free to play games to make their game better. That is why I still give Sky a chance. And yes, I do take breaks when I feel like it. You seem to think that anyone who complains is "forcing" themselves, when the reality is we complain preciely because we like the game and want it to be a better experience for everyone

Si I discovered this issue today. My friend suddenly stopped in the middle of the CR and gave me a and asked why I was honking repeatedly. I wasn’t honking. I thought maybe it was an accident because I was moving around getting comfortable with a blanket. But then a few minutes later he did it again, told me that I was honking. I was not. I had no visual indicator of honking nor did I hear any sound. It seemed as though the sound did come through terribly, as if I was watching from an old TV that had static at large sounds. Then, when I did intentionally make a call, I did not hear anything! I saw the visual indicator but no noise coming from me. I checked my audio, it was normal, I even reset to default. I tried using different types of calls and nothing worked. When I quit and restarted the game, the sound finally worked. But I find it super weird that it appeared to my friend as if I was using the call when I wasn’t.

If I'm being super technical, that one is also showing the clams in a blue color and the lurker is larger than the baby lurker we see in the live version. I believe both of those were from the open beta testing at well. Might have to get a second opinion though.
