i have a question about the speed of my CR. Currently I play for about an hour everyday. I start with Geyser (and do sanctuary), then I go through hidden forest and end up at grandma's and then I go to turtle (if I still havent hit 15 candles) and somewhere between those I get my quests done. Am I slowing myself down by doing the events or are they pretty time efficient?

Personally I’d skip Geyser because the amount of wax you get in those 10 minutes aren’t worth the effort. Grandma gives MAD wax though, keep that in

You can still get them with a big call, but yes I have noticed that sometimes the prompts for the emote aren’t there. I’d definitely recommend reporting that!

That's how seasonal quests work, wait for the next quest as we all do.
You need to find the seasonal spirit ~~speaking of the other message ~~ go to Aviary entrance and talk with the spirits to spend your seasonal candles.
Remember to do daily quests to get more Seasonal candles :

I went into vok for the shard event and the server merged to where all the plants were burned, the white circle to participate in collecting memories didnt pop up and so I couldn't collect ascended wax, however I did get regular wax. Is this because of the server merge? Was I too late?

You can activate the quest by clicking on it there, and then heading into the wind tunnels, you'll need to free the mantas trapped in the darkness there

How many dyes can I collect in a day and how often will new dyes be available?

If you personally like the pass-locked items of a season it's worth buying a season pass, if you don't like them that much then no need to buy it

Any leftover seasonal candle will convert into regular candle on a 1 :1 🕯️ratio when the season is over.

For example:
• If you have 48 it converts to 48 regular🕯️
• If you have 2 it converts to 2 regular ❤️
(but like you won't have hearts as they will be spent on ultimate rewards)

You need a yellow butterfly specifically, go to one and deep call or use the butterfly emote

you can just fly around and find the butterflies to collect the dye.
the locations are in caves, peaks, village islands, sanctuary and birds nest the locations change every hour on the hour

You should be able to see the butterflies around, the plants have just been burned already by other players

No you aren't doing anything wrong! Ignore the blue star, idk why it's there. It vanishes as soon as you enter the first area that has color plants.
Look for color plants instead, or for the colored butterflies in case other players have burnt the plants already. The butterflies are very well visible from afar.
You can find dye in all Prairie areas except butterfly fields

Since it's in the "hair" category, it's not dyable. 😔 At the moment, only masks, pants, and capes are dyable. In the next update I believe hair and head accessories are going to be dyable too.
