For my experience, you gain speed by flying downwards, and then turn up so that you don’t lose too much height from diving. It can be faster in certain areas, like Sanctuary.

You cannot skip cutscenes that you have not watched yet. But there are also certain cutscenes that can never be skipped, such as the door opening at the end of Forest Temple, and some perspective shots scattered across the realms.

light props are the only real useful things in eden, props dont really shield from rocks

The only thing you will get with non-rechargeable props is that their cooldown will increase when a rock hits them
This also applies to rechargeable ones, just specifying the non ones because you are using them with the purpose of protecting from the rocks

It's watching the memory that recharges, not the honk. It was a "recent" (quite some time has passed already, but it's not exactly old either) change done to player creations. Deep honks from players, not from memories, do still recharge as intended.

As for the other message, I highly doubt it's from TGC, and we cannot answer as to how that player intends on selecting a winner. Comments from strangers are anonymous unless they leave some way of reaching out to them through their reply.

Possible reasons:

• shattering memories: They are not available as soon as possible after completing Eden because they are accessible randomly through red shard days (6wls)
• Also it is very easy to miss some wing lights at transition areas like first one in Eden and the one at the end of Forest Brook, or before you go home. You need it to fly to you fully in order to be registered.
  (This already adds up more than 8 wl)
• Wing buffs: It doesn’t matter who started playing earlier or later. It matters how many wing buffs are unlocked from constellation and traveling spirits

Ultimately they can contact support in game and they can check wing buff count for them

Small tip: you can kind of speed it up by recording your own shared memory, after you've finished recording one, a cluster of wax will appear a little off the side of the runaway (be sure to keep on lookout)

That cluster is counted into the 4 "idle" wax

Adding to the very punctual response of jelly above: if you want to be efficient in your candle runs you should choose those areas regardless wax count, which give the wax the fastest ways to you. You should never fully run a realm because many wax orbs are too scattered and they are not worth for reaching them. Choose the most abundant and easy way which suits you. Also I can link you a how to get candles fast guide.

Although the game gives priority for memories to show up, it literally writes "more often" for following, not guaranteed. I guess this can ensure that you and their memory have a chance to view more inspirations from more players for more variety. To recheck, I ecommended to try to go home wait at least half minute and then use the return shrine to change servers. Repeat the process a couple of times and if it's still not there (and your friend can confirm that the memory hasn't expired) #report-a-live-bug about it

I know that you are meant to get 1 extra star from the credits after Eden. I have experienced the same thing, where I get 7-8 stars from the credits. I have most wing buffs, so the extra stars always bring me up to the maximum amount of stars you can get from the wing buffs and excludes the single credits star. So I’m always one short of max wings. I always assumed this was a feature for the people who had all the wing buffs from the standard spirits but that assumption is based on actually nothing. Personally I’m not complaining. More flight power for me

Yess, and by using oob u either play the cutscene and turn back, or fly low enough not to trigger the cutscene checkpoint. Theres another way to get into the clouds, which was to just fly light how u fly in the first area (starting area) after u play the cutscene and the wind there will take u up and then we can reach the cloud. But that wind is not there anymore i can fly freely without getting blown away aka no wind will push us up anymore 😭.

There isn’t anywhere to effectively afk for candle wax. Not only do no locations give passive wax without burning it first, but you also stop collecting wax after 10 minutes of afk.

Unless someone carried you on a candle run while you were afk? But you’d have to check in now and again and make sure you weren’t separated
