normally, your character jumps forward. the distance can change, if your character is in front of a close platform- they will try to leap past the gap. in some cases they cannot register it - the reason can be the gap is too big for them - which leads them to jumping directly off.

if there’s no obstacle, they just jump forward over a pretty large distance

i can “override” it by flicking against my screen, on the mover side (i play on mobile, touchscreen). that makes the skykid jump forward always

That's alright but make sure to thoroughly read through some of the replies first

Trials are for experienced players and even experienced ones dislike them. Jumping has several factors which affect Skykid behavior and it needs time to get used to them even if TGC tells nothing about them.
When you're at the edge of a platform Skykid can get stuck and do a mini jump instead of a regular one. It either has to jump a bit back from it not exactly at the edge or the character has to be in momentum to process the big jump. You can #live-feedback about it because in several cases it's indeed confusing and it got over tweaked in the past months a bit. This is also a cause that jumping is not working exactly the same way as seen on older YouTube videos. Trials are however still possible and quite few people come here with that issue. Make sure you're not close to chibi height, because that makes jumps smaller and there's also the possibility to abandon the trial and ask for a trial Uber in #looking-for-group-live . With some luck and persistence you can find one

Auto jump in the air trial is particularly difficult because of the many factors working against you in the trial: ice that makes traction slippery, moving platforms, and inconsistent wind gusts that propel you forwards and upwards.

Getting through air trial smoothly involves a lot of counter movement and patience, as others have mentioned even long-time players find it frustrating.

Adding each other with invite codes is placing that friend in your friendlist, one of you have to join the other's server by using the friend constellation or friendlist. For aviary, there is a totem at the pond with the flagpole or it's the flat grey plate near the portals to view that friendlist. Select the friend and there is an option to teleport to their server. The icon looks like in the side menu after selecting the friend.

There's no way to predict how many potions you need. There's just a way of measuring your size

Any predictions for it would be fake. You can either be lucky and get it in 5, or unlucky and get it in 500. There's no way to tell.

While having min or max has its unavoidable drawbacks, the game doesn't remember how many potions you used before, so you have 50% chance each time you use another potion whether it will make you small or tall. Then a random generator determines how much does it alter your height which makes the chances very tiny. Sky has about more than 4000 sizes

i finally updated the game and i read and now see the possibility to visit& decorate that oob has been patched so that i can't visit my Nests roof anymore. Ok its.. fine..💔 but i assumed my decorations there would just poof and i could add them inside Nest then - but my limit to add stuff is full and i still see at the Belltower my umbrella 😂 question is how can i get it (and stuff on my roof) off then if i cant visit it? 😭 Like ik there is (?) a button to erase every prop from Nest, but i dont wanna decorate it ALL again.. ughhh anyone else?

There is still a way to chibi glitch oob to your roof, but unfortunately I don't believe you can get to the belltower because of a tp wall. collective reset is unfortunately the only way to get it all back i believe

Also note: Afaik there's only been tp walls added outside the windows. If you glitch somewhere else in the nest you should still be able to get on your roof. (The option to place things down has however been removed, and I couldn't tell you if the option to retrieve them from your roof is still there.)

It’s important to at least set the graphic to 60fps in my experience. Though I have heard there were some recent adjustment made to Sky kids’ movement that made this last jump difficult (personally haven’t been to fire trial for a long time so can’t attest)

Recent changes to skykid movement have made this jump feel impossible, You've got the right idea, just keep trying to jump onto that ledge. Once you get up there, spam jump to try and get on top (you may slip off a few times)

The saved statues will give you 0.25 ac each.

There are a fixed number of winged lights in the realms, wing buffs are additional ones that are not from the realms and are given to you by spirits you have unlocked them from when you walk to the rebirth gate in orbit. You reborn with those additional wing lights instead of the standard one wing.

As in both 'Pin Focus' and 'Take Photo' are assigned to the R key on the keyboard. So when I press R, it just pins and unpin focus I've tried screenshots but that doesn't work for the quest.

don't brute force your way through, they can spot you above them if you get too close, and you need ~6 flaps to get out of reach. The krill go in patterns, so go for a high safe spot (e.g. the first child of light on the plateau to the right), and spot them. If the path is free, fly over to next area entrance, or stop by 2nd safe spot e.g. top of black hill/skeleton, up there should also be shared memories that recharge you.
