Ok wow these are pretty expensive. The shop of buying candles and other cosmetics looks like a layer of illusion that you need them. Without the conscious of the shop, this game looks perfectly fine. Each playthrough are like Journey levels, but free.

They probably just have bad memory or this was during off-season. If you have leftover wax you can get 22 candles a day + dailies during off-season = 27 candles

There are two types of Shards:

Black Shards are less dangerous and award Wax for Regular Candles

Red Shards are more dangerous and award Ascended Candles and a chance to visit a Shard Memory

Definitely light all light posts you find, especially if you're going solo. Also try to look everywhere for statues to get the most Ascension candles possible.

also this is something I learned w someone else, but if you do go to Eden with anyone else: if a krill spots you, separate from your friend and rejoin later, that way one of you can recharge the other and you don't have to worry about you both getting downed!

Also also, this is just my personal opinion, if there's a group also going, try to stick with them! I'm usually able to find another group of Skids to follow around, a lot of them have been able to come back and help me if I'm hit

When off-season (no current season), the amount of candles you can get increases to roughly 24 candles thanks to quests. Though, since this post seems to have been recent (quests are not yielding normal candles due to an ongoing season), it's either due to unclaimed prior candles, or just a very dedicated candle runner. If either of the explanations I offered are not the answer, then yes, it must just be a favourable bug.

Is anyone able to see their new friends in their constellation? I've been trying to add my husband and it says I'm already friends with him but he's not showing up in my constellation. I was hoping it would be part of the patches but it wasn't listed

reload your game, or go into a realm and recall to home. that usually helps me see new friends i've added

what platforms are both of you on? have you tried going to a realm then returning home to refresh your friend constellation?

We've been trying for days. We've restarted the game recalled to home, used the QR code, everything. Nothing has worked. We originally added each other through our Nintendo friends so every time we try another method we get a message saying we're already friends

because he's nameless, so you won't see him at all in your const. as rain suggested, getting a third friend to help be the bridge is usually the solution

We unlocked the hi-5 at the same time as someone else and their heart went through, specifically

That was never a criteria, I did the same stuff with the other person and their heart sent through with no probs

it's the anti-heart trade system, spending time with them has became the criteria for 2 years now especially if you use friend code/link

it can be different for each friend, sky has an anti heart trade system in place
if you havent spent time with them in the same server then you can try doing that and gifting a heart through the tree

And with them, we had no time so we just said "I'll send it through const later"

Iirc, the Daylight Prarie Elder Mask will protect you a limited number of times against raining red rocks in Eden. I personally would choose that if it's an opinion you need most 👍
