When you all have a good grasp for new changes there's two things specifically that I would like to ask to keep an eye on.

This new season brings a lot of changes to the lighting in a lot of realms. One thing that would definitely be helpful feedback is how the lighting changes feel:
Does an area feel too dark/different for your liking? Is it difficult to navigate with the new lighting changes?
When the lighting changes happen, are there flashes and issues that can be a bit too much for you/others, especially those with sensitivity issues?

The damage system will also feel very different, please do try to express in feedback how it feels for you when you're getting hit by dangerous objects and wether or not it's frustrating solo vs with friends (especially in Golden Wasteland and in Eye of Eden).

I believe will be more info on them once #beta-announcements has something posted, but I wanted to poke this in advance since these might be the first changes any player will experience. There's a bunch more stuff to explore!

So after you burn the plants (in prairie cave or birds nest) and watch the short cutscene, the realm will return to normal and the crystals will disappear. BUT you're not done yet.
Give it a little bit of time, and the circle will reappear where you initially sat down prior, but instead of it saying "start the activity" it'll say "meditate and leave here to see this memory" view it, and you'll complete the first quest.

The one critique I have of the “light side” cosmetics are that they are all too similar. White and yellow manta cape, white and yellow fancy manta cape, white and yellow jelly cape. I completely love the jelly cape but I feel like it could be improved on a bit to look like the actual jellies in game. @spark lance i took some falling rock damage while on my way to PNR and it completely knocks you down, you turn statue and start crawling. the easiest way to get back up is to have someone light you, but otherwise you need to find your own light source, which can be difficult when you can't light anything. you also don't have access to spells when this happens so you can't do an instant recharge. the crawling means you can't go up steps either. idk if there are other way to revive yourself, but it was really tough trying not to lose light and constantly being knocked down

I agree the krill cape doesn’t scream “krill” to me 🤨 it kind of just looks like a dark cape. Love the other dark cosmetic items though! The corrupted plants are so incredible. for those of you who have not been able to complete the quest, make sure you meditate twice per shard. once to see the creature and get seasonal candles (i think that's what that was) and another time to teleport to the seasonal area.
@simple basin are you on the first or second quest? i had to do the shards twice for it to register. a friend of mine said they only completed the second quest by doing it 4 times.

I couldn’t agree much on an update……… I think it will be too hard for sky kids to not be able to get them light rekindled by honking. There are many places to get bald (cue to Forest moths), and krills due to burning middle plants in Wasteland, deep abyss…. just imagine the agony. I mean if you gotta light them while they can only honk for life, you might not get there in time to save them. Not to mention, those carry spirits as quests + krills. Impossible much going solo?

I’m so into the starter outfits for both the light and dark sides.

On the light side you start out with an entire outfit, you look like an absolute angel of light, ready to face the darkness. You rescue the butterflies, mantas, jellies and are rewarded for it!

On the dark side you start with the slow corruption.. little darkness plant on your head.. then making it’s way to your eyes and face a little body horror going on. The cape. You are a full darkness plant! You go even darker - become one with the crabs and krill

Ayo the cape for darkness plant should have effects too not just elder hairs. I think that darkness plant cape should make burning plants of darkness faster and the krill cape should make it so you wear it and krill are entirely docile (don't even target) you and your party if they hold hands w u or maybe you don't lose wing charge when they hit u

Light cape manta One should make it so you get light restore from mantas when they beep even when flying (and could draw them to you). Jelly cape can make it so when you beep they all beep and then refill your stuff. I noticed the light creatures beeping while you aren't on top of them don't restore light if their light beep touches you. Could be a cool feature for the capes.

There's not really spirits, you need to warp to the seasonal area through the Guide's tree

You walk up to the glowing object at home space near prairie and then you teleport to it and click the first quest like normal seasons and then you go to prairie and go to the entrance before sanctuary islands and there should be red shards on the middle floating top. You burn all the darkness and then you sit down on the glowing circle and it will ask you to start the activity. You press yes and do the said activity. After that it will ask you to meditate and view a memory and It will teleport you to the glowing object and say “complete” hope this helps and I’m sorry if it’s confusing.

the pass was listed as free too, i think it’s a bug
