No. I made a massive feedback about DoR and feast and how feast is 280 candles with CHEAP items being added (pillow is 10c, music sheet 10, scarf 50) and we never got no new igc. Rainbow not getting a cheap igc feels like just an angry move bc we complained about rainbow cape price.

Feast table is basically the same price as rainbow cape. That's the biggest point of contention.

I do agree with how the pricing has been with the events we're currently testing out but its not mandatory to purchase said items, i dont think a pair of pants with rainbow suspenders is going to stop you to play with friends or join a quest with strangers. Cosmetics and items are just decorations that are optional to buy. Its up to you if you want to buy anything in the game. And this stuff is still in beta, so feedback is definitely something to share about your thoughts on the events

I would like to help in clarifying some things. Players do not hate IAPs, they are expressing that they dislike how the prices in-game and for in-app purchases are going higher and higher. This doesn't mean they don't want celebrations or being represented. On the contrary, they want to celebrate without having to worry that they're gonna miss out on the content they're presenting to their players, for one reason or another. Be it IRL currency or candles, Sky has gotten more grindy over time and it definitely diminishes the meaning that friendly interactions carry. People are not enjoying doing the same thing over and over again, and being presented the same thing over and over again. I honestly don't remember when I last enjoyed Sky, because all of the events in their stage are nothing more than cosmetic shops that only drive players towards this playstyle of endless grinding for in-game currency. People that are complaining here do want the game to get better, but when TGC is failing to deliver, they're voicing their complaints, be it in the discussion channel or through feedback channels. While Sky may have started out as a little game for people to socialize, as it grew, it changed its direction, and people simply didn't like that. Now they're asking for that experience to be reconstructed again...would pulling the plug really solve these problems?

This whole Triumph instrument thing is genuinely the angriest I’ve ever been about beta content. I’ve been submitting so much feedback about the sounds and prices, and know many others doing the same, but not only are the sounds the same, they cost more now. Genuinely cannot believe this.
I really try not to be too critical, but it’s very hard when it seems like everything I and other testers say is taken and made even worse.

I honestly love the idea of IAP instrument reskins coming around to make past instruments more accessible to new players, as well as old players that didn’t get season passes. But your skykid isn't an IAP, it's something personal that you have memories with.

You can still enjoy parts of something while not wholly approving of everything included. This is true for all things!

It’s a shame, because I really do love Sky. I’ve had so much fun playing it over the past year. But I hate seeing these things keep happening. I’ve for the most part over my time playing had faith in these things improving, but this time around, it just seems to keep spiraling. These instruments from the Music Shop costing an insane amount ($60!!). It’s too expensive! That’s a lot in USD, I can’t even imagine how expensive it is in some other countries. They’re reskins, and its not a nice way to bring ultimates back either. Not only do they look and sound cooler than the originals, there’s not even a way to earn them properly or in a fun way. You just pay. The ‘new’ anniversary guitar is a reskin and, I’m gonna say it, is pretty unnecessary. It doesn’t really add anything to the game and it’s just a money grab imo. And events have been SO expensive lately. Mischief, Rainbow, Feast, and now the anniversary event?? It was always IAP free till now. Feel free to disagree or agree with me, but, though there’s new content and new seasons, events, it’s paying. And grinding for currency or paying for it. No other options, which I find really sad. It’s just a shame because sky is such a beautiful game, but it’s just going in the wrong direction I think right now. Sorry for negativity guys

Fun fact for those who missed it the other day: Even if you may think the triumph instruments sound better than the originals, I’m here to point out as a person who works often with digital instruments and researched the handpan to make this point:
The drum and bugle sound pretty much exactly like very low quality, outdated tech midi instruments that you might hear in, perhaps, a digital keyboard from 2001.
The handpan? I searched for lots of videos of playing handpans, guides on the best sounds for them, and my conclusion based on what I found? The triumph handpan sounds like the absolute lowest quality possible handpan. The vast majority of the videos I found sounded much more similar to the original sanctuary handpan, which, even if we wanted, we CANNOT GET ANYMORE. So even if you think they sound better, many of us don’t, and at the end of the day, we DON’T HAVE THE OPTION TO CHOOSE THE OTHER ONE ANYWAY.

I left my feedback. Sky is a very precious game to me, and it still is. The pricing right now for these instruments (and a reskin for one at that …) is extremely inaccessible for players. I like gifting things to people I am close with, it feels like a kind gesture. I also like collecting the cosmetics for myself. It’s fun to make ocs and such with my sky kids. But at this point, it’s close to the pricing of your standard video game for something that wasn’t too thought out when put together (in my opinion). We are beta testers for a reason, and if the mass is upset about something, they need to listen. Hopefully everyone’s feedback gets heard out.

I only stick to the AP as of the last year or so. The constant influx of iap items tires me, it gives me the impression that I can never be happy with what I achieved as a player (completing a season, never mind completing all constellations) because a new shinier item will be released soon. :/ The anniversary items just strengthen this feeling. I already gave feedback that a reskin of an existing item should be available if a player wanted it, instead of having 2 of the same items with some visual differences sitting in the closet. Hello bubba, to clear things up for you and people who reacted, the guitar is no longer an Anniversary item, rather it’s planned to be similar as the founder's cape, which will be available for purchase at any time. In a future update, the name will be changed to minimize any potential for confusion that it may bring.

On the contrary I think the quality of stories started going downhill after Dreams (excluding TLP), however, the improvements to gameplay that came with those seasons absolutely deserve praise.

Assembly's fetch item mechanic was a really good step in the right direction, although it's currently underutilized and needs to make a comeback especially during events.

Flight connected seasonal areas, its exploration based quests were very fun. It's also a great season for cosmetics.

Abyss literally added a diving mechanic

Performance is on another level with how much variety and with great cosmetics

Flight is my favorite season of all time! I love how it gave us a look at an important location in ancestor society and the spirits that lived there, and let us work with them. Even if it wasn’t grandiose like Dreams or Enchantment’s endings, it was really cool to restore a part of the old world and befriend the spirits who worked there too!!

It should instead just be based upon someone's time or knowledge of the game. Who cares what someone dresses like? A new cape isn't going to give me new gameplay, playing with a friend or a new season quest will.
