Check to see if your app is updated first, but the days of nature guide should be at homespace near the closets. You should be able to warp to their location in sanctuary using the tree during the turtle event and buy the ocean cape/shell from sunbather

You can buy them from Sunbather who will appear and stay during the period of the sunset/turtle event

The “unlimited” candle bug was something that happened last year during Abyss testing. Players could buy infinite amounts of AP, which then triggered endless sc that were converted to regular candles after season ended. TGC has not removed them yet.

Don't worry too much! Just keep your eyes open for things that are unusual, for example things that have the wrong colour. You could try and see if the things in #beta-announcements work as said. If you want some I am currently at (some from last/previous builds I haven't checked yet, some from the current one), look under the spoilered things.

Are they both on the same platform (Android/iOs)? If no, you won't be able to change device since you'd need an invite for the other platform too. If yes, it should work (just install Sky beta on the other phone, and sign in with the same account your current phone is on). As far as I can tell you can easily switch between phones if you have the same account on them, without having to uninstall, logout or anything.

to fully explain while keeping it abit short, i dont have the coral crown at all. we arent exactly sure what happened or why, but every time i got reborn when i showed up in home my game would tell me i need to return to eden to continue my ascent
no matter what we tried we couldnt merge into the same server to attempt breaking stormlock, and i got reborn a total of 15~20 times while unable to enter any other realms or view the constellation

airplane mode on and off again. forces you off the internet completely and then drops you into a new server/instance when you reconnect.you wont always merge with people but if you hit that sweet spot of reconnecting to theinternet as someone is landing in home space youll merge with them

another interesting thing i learned while in eclipse home is, when you lose all of your light you just sit in home capeless. you dont get sent to the room to get a light. and when you dive while capeless in the stormlock home, when you fully run out of air and are supposed to lose light nothing happens. you just sit there.

stormlock home treats you like a true capeless (never collected any wing lights) brand new baby moths wont drown either (i know they dont get dive until later but some kids do intentionally stay capeless long enough to gain dive ability)

It does supply wax from the dark plants that grow on the turtle's back at the start of the event, and trickles out light from behind the turtle for the entire time. I wouldn't rely on it for wax though, it's by far the poorest supply of wax in my opinion

It's unlikely you got removed after two days, unless you actively did something you shouldn't. So check that you're logged into the same Apple ID you accepted the invite from and also if Testflight is updated.

Georgie, a lot of beta testing is based on the players themselves going out into the realms and trying things out. When a new bigger update with a season or event comes around, there are bullet points with all the new stuff you can test. That's really it. There's no set of rules on how to do it.

It's just good to remember that if something is confusing, you should give feedback on that, so TGC can improve the experience for Live players.

To further add to "how to beta": we're asked not to make guides or charts, because beta is constantly changing and evolving. If a new seasonal quest doesn't make sense, let TGC know. If something that worked in one way before suddenly changes, bug report it. It's a very common thing for a creator to assume knowledge in the recipient, because they worked on it for a long time before showing it the world. Sky is very much about intuitive gameplay, so perhaps that's a good benchmark for new features.
