I have noticed that many players are annoyed with the memory candles placed everywhere. With an idea popped out in my head, I thought of saving shared memories in specific a spot within the seasonal area. Just like gratitude shrines, whenever you want to write a note, yours and everyone’s notes will appear in one spot. Players are able to record anywhere near the spot, and the candle will appear in that spot just like gratitude shrines. Hopefully this could resolve the candle placing mess, and possibly suggest better solutions than my idea.

Maybe it’s better to have their own individual shrines placed in each realm or area instead of strictly in one place. Plus it’s probably best to have the memories last for 48hr or more. So… basically a second version of gratitude shrines, but as memory shrines instead. One way to “make this a good use” would be heart gifts after reaching 10 likes… however that may not be the best idea. I know it destroys the goods of what we have right now but candles placed everywhere will definitely annoy players in the long run.

This is an unpopular opinion only I have but I don’t care for the message candles at all and would rather them not be a feature

Should just expand message boat features instead. We don’t need message boats and also candles.

I don’t think it should be limited to just specific locations bc that would take away the creativity of it. It’s fun to see your friends messages along your journey through sky. I think it would be more annoying to have to sit through the shrines again to view all of the messages. Then that would mean we’d have the shared space, regular messages, meditation spots, AND these shared memories to go through one by one. I wouldn’t find myself looking through the shared memories very often if that was the case.

I think we need to consider the level of interference it would have on everyday gameplay, especially for those of us who use controllers. It's often really difficult to choose the right interaction already, so adding even more possible button choices would be a bad idea.
I am also unsure what funtion they fill, other than becoming yet another heart farming solution. Even now, I don't find myself looking for or reading any of the other message items.

Irritated bc someone I friended keeps coming to me saying I didn't gift a heart. I have 18k candles still from the glitch and subsequent conversion and gifted them first so the day ends off on them giving me last, but every single time they track me down in game and say I didn't gift a heart and that my name "doesn't have a check by it"(I assume they are keeping track by editing friend names) and every time I say I do gift at reset and that it's gray. It's making me very stressed out and feels like they think I'm stealing from them

I want to block maybe forever. But I can't find the unblock list in the new friend constellation. :(

Don't be bothered by it too much, block them and move on. Heart gifts are meant to be gifts anyway, and shouldn't be forced to give back not unless both parties were under the impression that they're on a "heart trade transaction" and have agreed to it. But the decision to block them is always up to you.

The memory candles have GREAT potential, I do a lot of solo editing and it can be really handy when doing a 2 person scene.

Too bad that as of now I see the candles as nuisances, the realms look like they have been trashed with paper boats and out of place wax, please they're more messy than geyser and that was added for Days of nature's "donate to help clean the ocean"

For anyone who plays with a controller, boats/messages/shared memories/shrines are a daily frustration already. For some reason the game will lock on them instantly instead of letting us aim at:

• the friend who’s hand we’re trying to grab
• the plant we’re trying to burn
• the statues in Eden while frantically trying to avoid getting plastered by rock rain (and to answer your question, whoever thought it would be a good idea to put SM on those, no, that doesn’t help at all)
• the candles we’re trying to light

And so forth…

the thing is, texture in hair requires a LOT more polygons in the 3d model and causes problems (like how the headbang spirit's hair looks a little hecked up), so it's a lot more work than the straight hairs. which isn't an excuse but i understand from a 3d modeling standpoint why there are so many straight hairs and not much texture similarly with really long hairs, there would be awful clipping issues so they are very rare

From what I recall, resize potions were only added during or after Lightseekers season. I wasn't quite active in the community at the time, but from what I'm told, they addressed resize in a blog or community livestream.

Fishy, I do understand the desire, believe me. It doesn't appear that TGC is as keen however, especially if you take into account that potions weren't intended to be part of the game until a few months after launch, as a sort of olive branch to players.

You can sort of 'pick' now, but only if you play the game and get game currency for it by completing the end. It's a nice Ascended Candle sink for dedicated players. If it was sold for regular candles, which you could buy for real money, then I think not having a way to pick would be a lot worse.

Perhaps we can also interpret it as you should try and accept friends no matter how they are-big or small. Just like in reality, people and their skykids can come in all shapes and sizes.

It's how the delta update process happens. The update file might be a few MB, but it's a "patch" so to speak. Once the download is complete, it takes a virtual copy of the game, applies the patch, then references the resulting hash against a good copy to "validate" the update. This process requires double the storage space of the app being updated.

Delta updates might require more device storage and can cause unnecessary wear on the device memory chip, but the significant drop in update size makes up for it for those who are on a tight mobile or WiFi data budget. (A 24mb update compared to a 1.5Gb update makes a huge difference when you're on a metered connection)

Android is odd when it comes to storage. Be sure it's internal memory that has the free space, not any SD cards (if your device has an SD card slot). Other than that, 3GB should suffice for Sky on Android for updates.

I have a issue with the app crashing 100% of the time. I just go to 6 realms: prairie, forest, valley, wasteland, vault, and Eden. If I go to each realm and then return to home without doing anything, if I go from home, if I go from the wind path, or if I go straight from the temple to the next realm, the crash still happens. Only Dawn does not fit this criteria. Is this the case for you all?

The best thing you can do as a beta and even live player is to always put in your feedback in the right channels if you don't like something, TGC will look at what you said, regardless if it's good or bad, they'll take it into consideration and work on it, that's why beta feedback is important

What do you mean? Usually beta is on the same schedule as live, at the moment we're some ts behind and unless things got buggy or TGC needs to test things we'll get fire prophet (unless I am misinformed)
