Hi, I want to report a type of "bug" I encountered but I don't have any sceenshottable evidence to provide that would accurately showcase my problem. When walking up to the wardrobes in the social space in wasteland, my character kept doing the returning home animation where I was sitting down and couldnt move unless I pressed on an emote. There was also group of players honking at me and laughing. I suspect that they were a bunch hackers, but I'm not sure how to report this. Has anyone encountered similar issues in the wasteland or is this really just a group of players who were griefing?

🔸When exiting from the friends constellation view in Home, the screen will start to jitter [edit: :aBestDance:] and the graphics will become grainy and pixelated. A fix is scheduled to be included in an upcoming build.

As a work-around in the meantime, players can open their constellations to view level constellations, then exit from that screen. It should restore the graphics to their original state. Thank you for your patience in the meantime! :SkyPray:

Considering that TGC doesnt own the rights of Kizuna AI it's not really shocking that it was removed. She may have backed out of the collab or there may have just been other reasons and miscommunications

I do remember I had filed a huge bug report during Assembly testing about the introduction to motion blur as a game mechanic. It made me so nauseous that I couldn't play the beta until they fixed it. If they want to introduce some things that might unintentionally make disabled people disoriented, maybe it should be toggle-able like an option.

It was so bad that I almost considered quitting Sky purely for that reason if it would make it to live as a permanent feature.

I just experienced one of the funniest things in beta so far.
An unlit stranger came up to me at the butterfly door in Prairie village and mimicked the emote next to me. I pointed to the other rock where the emote is done, and they hopped to it, manually picked the emote, fell over upside down on the rock, layed there for a few seconds, then finally did the emote node correctly.
It's 4am right now and I'm trying so hard not to wake up my neighbors with my laughing ahhhhhhhh

tbh I would welcome a progress wipe it's weirdly refreshing to start from 0. Plus, if we all have everything unlocked now there's not much to test other than new features which is probably priority, but if they ever change gameplay in any way we may experience those bugs a lot less.

Dont care too much about your beta progress, it is progress that can and will be removed at any time for testing purposes. Same with the currency.
The reason it will be set back mainly though is because a) some testers didnt have the bug occur, therefore it's unfair to those players
And b) we still need to candle run, if we dont, problems with collecting wax may occur and we wont know, visual bugs may occur, something may happen with the afk timer... so on and so forth. So there will be a wipe because we still need to test out candle running and earning wax- which we are not inclined to do it we have seemingly endless candles.
It's also for these reasons that we dont have candles in the shop

But a progress wipe just because of this... well that would be weird considering when the shop bug happened and a lot of people got every iAP ever that wasnt candles, we didnt get a progress wipe.
Its not impossible, but still, i highly doubt they'd wipe because maybe 100-200 very dedicated people managed to get to 999 hearts due to the bug.
i could understand possibly locking the invisible cape again and resetting currency, but it would otherwise be a very strage reason to do a progress wipe.

It's only taking them so long because they have other priorities. The action of resetting currency itself doesnt take that long at all, it's just a simple server reset.
The only reason we havent had the reset yet is because they have a lot more serious things to deal with right now(like the camera shaking issue and the graphics issue, for instance)

Its a great way to make new friends for testing as well as give gifts to said friends. I can kind of see the reasoning behind a full progress wipe too, but I think that one could be problematic for detecting bugs that come up on older, unobtainable cosmetics like the weird Asteroid Cape glitch that's messing around with everyone right now

That isn't something anyone can control.
Beta is instable and glitches happen. We just live with it, and the ones that damage the game get patched. The candle glitch didn't break anything. If anything, it made the beta less lonely when needing help on testing stuff such as multi-player doors/rooms or literally anything that can possibly break as each update comes.
It would be unfair at this point to do any wipes, especially a full progress wipe because like spearmonkey said, certain items that may break are ones that can't be obtained for right now or at all, such as holiday events or Little Prince items. As for the candles, its just unnecessary to reset those when there's a dozen glitches needing fixed right now as well as preparing for the next new items to test.

Candles actually never felt like much of an issue for me after seasonal testing is over, because we're actually left with a pretty big chunk after conversion (well, a normal conversion anyway, not the massive candle overload we just had >_>). You don't quite have enough to just keep infinitely throwing candles at every sky kid you see, but you've generally got more than enough to tide you over for any white candle cosmetics for a good while assuming you've been continuing to grab some seasonals after filling out the seasonal constellation

can see what you mean dark - it especially feels crowded when there's props everywhere and boats cluttering up the water. standing on the constellation table with 7 friends isn't fun either XD I think home is one of the few places we can have a lasting impression of time passing though. the realms feel very static, and having some sort of cyclic change over very different time periods wouldn't really be very fitting imo.

though, I do think it woulda been more immersive to see the fortune stuff in prairie caves for instance. events I am so down with expanding everywhere and anywhere granny's the best addition to sky in 2021 and u cannot change my mind

y'know what also fascinates me from light awaits? the old homespace... it was just a plain of water with just you, friend statues to give daily light to, and portals to the different realms. it was pretty to me, but i do like what the current home space gives us (as much as i would love a change in scenery or just straight up a design overhaul someday)

Probably because it's the tutorial realm, so they don't give it its own dailies. Still, dailies have been in multiple realms before, so I don't see why they couldn't add them in to the quest rotation of the other realms

I was literally targeted by one for about ten min while they cackled every time they did that. I could stand for one sec and hear the tp sound. maybe it's a hot take, but I think moths should complete basically all realms before eden without being dragged. being in the company of a friend is nice ofc, but recently I just see people nyooming moths to every wl/spirit at mach speed - even starting the seasonal ones for them which aren't intended to show up that early. there's nothing left to explore (and this is why I want to preserve isle as being bare was what I was gonna get to XD)

It's one thing to get everyone in the server's permission before doing things like that to them. I had a great time with the lantern and some iOS friends when I got their permission to cause a crash (got a video of their Sky kids freezing and disappearing). I think leading moths slowly through realms (and skipping the “secret” areas for them to find later) and celebrating each spirit saved is one of the joys of Sky. Being able to do that is one of the reasons I’m still here
