the main dilemma is that NFTs (and most cryptocurrencies) is a waste of electricity, which is why its said to be harmful to the environment, when that said energy can be used for better purposes

After a quick speed run with starting a new sky account on beta(just login with a whole new google account on iOS, legally), I guess the “server issue” is related to iap items.

The new account didn’t get a single server error even I finished the fifth seasonal quest without bug. However, once I got an iap item(like the tea set), the error happens.

So for people who want to give feedback about fifth seasonal quest and event, maybe you can start a new account just for it.
(If you want to do this, make sure to link your main beta account first so you won’t lose it!)

relog until you can stay in home without errors, and then go into a realm and you'll be fine. as soon as you go home from the realm you'll be back so server error - so don't go home once you've managed to log in safely

This gave me an idea, if it does only happen at Home, disconnecting from your connection should actually make it entirely avoidable each log-in session. Disconnecting as soon as my game logs-in and then entering a realm of my choice (then reconnecting) seems to be working. It’s not an ideal solution if you’re planning to play with friends

Not really sure honestly, you can send feedback about it though, and if you want to be alone for it you can turn off your wifi/go on airplane mode (that's what I did to complete the quest)

I think you misunderstand the difference in your comparisons. Our phones would barely pull more than 40 watts at full utilization. (About the same power consumption as a CFL bulb) PCs used for Crypto/NFT use 1200+ watts of energy at minimum... All dependant on their GPU array, but each GPU would suck down about 200-400 watts each depending on model whilst the CPU could use from 120-300 watts depending on what CPU they installed in the rig. Most rigs run 24/7... Then if you get into ASICs, those suck even more power. Keep in mind, most miners are using 10-20 GPUs in an array which could be sucking around 2000 watts each array easily. (More power than most US circuits can handle by themselves which is why if you ever saw pictures of a mining array, you'll see them plugged into multiple power circuits to not blow breakers or being used in commercial buildings which have higher circuit capacity) Please do research before blowing off such a controversial topic.

Start your quest again and turn off your Wi-Fi and turn on airplane mode. If it tells you to connect, turn back on the Wi-Fi but keep airplane mode on. It worked for me.

Netease (Chinese version) and TGC (global version) are two different companies with different goals. For as long as the Chinese version existed, people always wanted something from Netease to come to Global, it's nothing new, and TGC is aware of it. TGC doesn't have control over what happens in the Netease version, and vice versa. It's nothing unfair tbh, it's two completely different companies

It's a bit complicated to anyone not aware of the Kizuna Ai branding, but NetEase had a collab with the Chinese version of the character. From the looks of things, TGC has a collab slated with the original Japanese version of the character -- they're sort of like two different branches of a larger umbrella brand.

You're best off probably looking that up on Google to decide for yourself what to believe as fact and what to think of as opinion, but to sum up why it's showing up in discussions here right now: NFTs generate a large carbon footprint because of the complex calculations required to sustain them, so they're generally seen as bad for the environment. There's currently a belief that the collab partner seen in this beta event will be selling them, which is why some people are hesitant about providing support to the collab partner

The idea is that you need to be "disconnected" while you're in Home space, then only turn your internet back on once you've loaded into another level. The theory is that the "server error" pop-up happens specifically because of something that happens in Home, so by keeping your net off while you're at Home, you prevent it from attempting to send that request out to the server

• Go to Treasure Reef, accept the quest
• went on airplane mode(or turn off wifi/data) right after the cutscene
• proceeded w the quest as normal
• when error msg popped up, just kept clicking retry so I could proceed
  Manta pity room should have dark plants to burn unlike when you're merged. However I'm on Android, so idk if it works differently on iOS

Guys I've noticed something about dark's trick. I already posted a thing in #beta-screenshots-videos , but ima talk about it here as well so ya'll know about my idea. So the only 2 places where the trick doesn't work (for me anyways, dark said it works fine for them) is home, and the forest social area. Aka the only 2 areas where the wisteria texture/model is used. So it's possible that the server issues aren't actually server issues, but more rather an issue with the model itself causing a conflict in the game's code.
