||cackling cannoneer probably gets sad after you triumphing over them, so they went off on a canoe and dove even deeper, into the abyss
when you reach them, they appear to be surrounded by krills, but you offer cackling cannoneer your hand, which they accept
the krills then go "we can't beat the power of friendship" and goes on their own merry way
you bring cackling cannoneer to the surface and complete the quest
there is no final cutscene yet and the leviathan has no cameos||
and i expect a great summary from fellow beta testers when its actually finished... as i have sacrificed my quest attempt

Fairly sure the account bind methods should work the same way in beta as in live, especially when both Android and iOS testers are playing on the same beta server. The main hurdle you'd face with changing between platforms is needing to wait for a new invite wave, since you only obtained the ability to download beta on one specific platform with the invite you first used

You can always change auto update settings in your Google play (android) or TestFlight (iOS) app. Sky doesn't update itself, Google play store and TestFlight do the update based on your phone settings

I don't think that was evident yet. If it's the same as assembly, you should be able to get it after the season is over (the Little Prince was a collaboration, so its duration was unique). If it is not accessible after the season, it would have been clearly stated in the patch notes.

If my opinion counts, I really recommend waiting until the 5th quest is implemented properly. It would really suck if you wanted to experience the final cinematic- then realizing you won't be able to because it's already marked as completed. Though at the end of the day beta is beta, and the finished cinematic will be released on live later on.

I really hope players don't get the final quest spoiled once it's released in beta as well, so here's a quick reminder to keep beta talk in the beta channels to avoid ruining surprises for those who want to go in blind!

Please keep in mind we're pending a currency wipe, so I would only collect candles if you spend them.

I can tell you from experience, there's nothing worse in beta than losing your legitimately earned candles due to a currency wipe. (Except maybe a progress wipe, but we'll leave that alone for now) 'Tis the nature of beta, though... Just keep it in mind that those candles collected can poof at any time when they reset our currency due to the bug a few months ago.

Yeah similar recreates a bug. But not necessarily the jumping between realms one... I get into the water of the geyser, then dive down, keep the camera pointed down at the avatar then when geyser blows I'm taken into some oob within sanctuary. That's it.

But while trying to recreate it, once I did hup between realms (pics in #beta-screenshots-videos) but dunno what exactly triggered it.

I found that you need to 1) be under water inside the geyser 2) your camera should not point up at the sky, rather look down from out of the geyser down on the sky kid or generally look from top, down on the sky kid as you wait for the geyser to blow 3) be chibi height. In my case, I think the piggyback or jumping animation may have been triggered, and for some reason it wouldn't turn off (or would turn on by mistake). The reason why some areas of Home were shaking and others were not may have been related to the water waves.

Sorry for ping, my friend and i use iOS mobile devices and switch consoles for Sky. Our iOS devices don’t have this problem as of date, but the switch consoles are HEAVILY affected. Also the lighting on switch are sometimes snapped in half (one half brighter, other half darker) and that really hurt our eyes as well.

I do wonder which model you have. My GF and I do not have the issue. Mine is an Erista model and hers is the Mariko model. We are usually docked, though. Does it only happen when not docked? (also since the Switch is live only, the live channels would be a better place for Switch discussion.) Edit: the reason I ask docked vs not docked is because the 786Mhz frequency for the GPU is only available for docked mode. Best you can get undocked is 460Mhz which would affect performance and could be contributing to the artifacts you experienced

the wonky thing about daily light is that generally (without events like the dragon) takes longer to grind for 20 candles now that it would before. yes, it's a huge time gain to only get 15 candles out of those 20 - but we have TS that literally require you to get around 19.8 candles per day in order to max out. 100% agree it's one step forward and two steps back when you look at it from the perspective of people who do want to get the cosmetics when they have the chance (given TS pool will now require you to wait at least 2 years to see every past spirit )

GOD I REALLY FEEL THAT "BAD" TS THING every ts since the end of stlp has either been a popular spirit or themed and it reallt screws over basically every spirit that either isn't well liked or themed after a (real-world) season because they can't come around as a part of a days event or to satisfy the fanbase for a few days

I should have been more specific, I also mean stuff such as the cosmetics from traveling spirits (which require candle packs unless you grind extremely diligently) where there's a good chance a specific spirit won't return for several years given the size of the pool. there's also items such as the birthday hats, and the little prince exclusive licence iaps which I know for a fact some friends purchased because they didn't want to wake up and realize they wanted those items but could never get them

My best idea for a solution to the ts system problem is retiring spirits from the pool after a certain amount of time from the end of their season and making those spirits always available in Orbit

Well their problems if they don’t like the ts, but having so many “wanted” and expensive ts in a row isn’t their brightest idea either. We all need a break from farming non stop, we all need to breathe and not being pressured because of upcoming ts and events that we know are expensive.

after abyss ends you would need 120 weeks of playing to cycle all ts assuming no repeats, and without adding the new ts that would come into existence over those 120 weeks

The sad part is, that it used to be that way, a pretty friendly game with chill and cheap cosmetics, now every events are going to cost $50 and more each + a huge amount of candles for in game cosmetics

It feels like it will be necessary for people to not have to wait years for a TS if they were to instead go in a linear fashion.. So TS pool feels like the only way to really fix. If they go in order people would have to wait so long when we get 100+ TS.
