Unless the design goals change, it's intentional that we do not create the option to "send/collect all" for lighting your friends' stars, because it would cheapen the meaning behind the experience. It's meant to be an involved process, so that when you light your friend's star, they know you took the time to do that specifically for them. To know that you care about your friendship enough to take the time out of your day to think about them.

The new constellation will be enabled at some point after 3pm Pacific time. It's not currently enabled so that we can be extra certain that the fix to make friends appear in constellations as normal is working.

Gonna be completely honest though, I understand the reasoning behind it. I'm really happy you all did try to make the friend system easier though. As someone who has like hundreds of friends, I can't ever light all of them, so more space is nice. Plus finding certain friends is a pain, and organizing certain people to be at the top will make it easier to find them

A very inconvenient change is that in Dreams Village all candles were removed from the hot springs. That candle boost at hot springs was one of the main reasons to go to dreams village.

Hot springs candles gave enough quick light boost to be able to reach the clouds above and fly with the help of them to Dreams village's top towards Hermit Valley. Now the missing boost (and quick candle amount) makes Hermit Valley more deserted because routined candle runners used hot springs wax as fuel to go up to clouds and go to the cake up in Hermit Valley instead of those long, slow boats, not to speak of the quick noticeable wax amount.

I really am saddened that I have to force my game to run at 30fps (boosted) to look like the quality that I play on when playing live (battery saving)

What Ktjn meant is

Sometimes in a heated moment you might get angry and under the affection of that emotion you unfriend them but after you've calmed down you might want to reconnect with them and if you don't know their discord or another way of connecting with them that will mean they are gone forever and Ktjn wouldn't want that to happen. For that reason blocking exists. Blocking gives you the option to reverse your action

The other thing you'd have to think about is the amount of candles lost if you ever decided to unfriend someone, even if it's a moth
They could find you again and pretend to be someone else, and the candles you've spent before would be deemed useless-
Blocking can guarantee that you won't spend any candles on that player afterwards-

Here’s the thing.I have a constellation of 750+ people.I have to spend more than 2 hours on sending lights to everyone every day.I have to block/unblock so many people coz you cannot find their star unless you block some.Having a block list consisting of already 200 people and then temporarily adding more people to the block list and unblocking all of them is a pain.

• I need multiple more slots in a sub-constellation to effectively light up people
• separate spirit and friendship constellation icons at home shrines are faster and easier to navigate
• I must click too much to get into a sub-constellation now, it needs polishing
• I need page buttons to browse sub-constellations while zoomed in
• I need to see sooner who's online from my best friends (in the old system I open 1 button at home and already see who's online from my favourites)
• the older spirit constellation is better in terms of no zoom needed, I already saw the icons of spirits. Something similar would be great on friends constellation- favourites as default view. If they want to keep zoom, let zoom in be the default view on favourites.

My PRIMARY GOAL is to send light to friends and get light so I can earn hearts
My SECONDARY GOAL is to find who is online so I can go visit them

With the old method, It was pretty easy to page through and see where I had “work” to do Iight candles, collect light. To find someone online, I had to page through, not ideal, but functional and this new method introduces a new set of problems that didn’t exist before.

This new UI hides what I have to do and makes it hard to navigate to do everything. I have to zoom and hunt to find my friends. I can’t see where there is light to collect or someone I can send light to. I can’t figure out who is online and tp to them

if you remove a friend, the chances of you running into them aren't predictable. They can impersonate as someone else and befriend you again
Meanwhile with blocking, the chances of you running into them can be adjusted. And if you have good hearted friends, it can be 0%

before, you can have about 80 friends visible in conste and few can be, sort of, pinned in the front page

now you can pin up to 80 friends
and 40 (60, aruno) more friends show up randomly (same system to the old conste ||block a friend or restart game for other friends to show up||)

in the new conste, you can't use the reason "sorry, can't find you in the conste, I think you got fallen off from it" anymore

a friend came back to sky (live server), I favorite him and we unlocked every friend interaction and gave hearts to each other before he quits, but it's hard to find each other

that's the problem of the old conste
looking for friends that went inactive or got less interaction with you for a while is hard

I think, due to tech limits, we can only have 140 friends displayed at a time, no work around in that other than blocking and unblocking I guess,
I do think that the Solar system also refreshes from time to time, but I don't have more that 140 friends in beta so I can't test that

I think what anna means is that you can't swap places because there's no free spots to move the person who was originally in the dot. You can't swap them out.

I'm assuming all new ones/old ones without their dedicated position in groups get a place in solar system automatically that randomly refreshes to show different set of friends. Can't confirm this like another player mentioned I hardly have enough friends in beta to first fill the 10 constellationz

by right when you go to different realms and u go back home.. the friend's constellation is suppose to refresh but it isn't .. at least for mine it isnt would that be the same as the current system then?

Now it is clearer.. So there is no option to swap on the fly. What others suggested is you temporarily place them in solar system, remove the one from constellation (do the same- place them in solar system) and put the other one back in to the empty slot you created.

In current version you can use the solar system as temp holding space to swap friends in constellation. Not convenient - feedback.

it seems if someone has gifted you a heart, there are heart particles around the dot, but I haven't seen what it looks like if you've given one. Maybe it's just the same as live where there's no visual change.
