I do own that cape too since the original run of the season, again it depends, as I already said it’s a season dear to me. If you prefer Snowflake cape more, that’s fine, but I would personally skip out on it as it doesn’t interest me

especially since it has the golden metallic look to it

fr i did some interviews with moths of beta(illegal bois) when server was unstable. and they didnt know the client they were using was even illegal, or they had to use illegal client to play global server. This was also same on live server.

The "data is corrupted" message is an indication that google is not recognizing your installation of sky beta as a legitimate copy. it has nothing to do with your OS version.

I see where you're coming cuz different ways to get wax without farming everywhere is nice, but it would also solve the price issue that I forgot to mention. Which is probably a different topic. You'd find that a lot of afk system debates that end up talking about how expensive everything has been recently with the in-game currency, which is why afk system is an issue

This game is like the only game I play that has a soft afk system so I’m actually don’t mind it so much. Total afk in some other games would result in serious punishment. I think originally maybe the dev didn’t plan to fix the afk bug, but eventually they did since dramas were rising from geyser. This isn’t the perfect solution, but probably a decent compromise for everyone. You have 10min grace period then just need to do 1 tap to “wake” your skykid. More than 10min, well you aren’t playing :) Yes people need to farm for stuff, but also people need to learn to relax and not have to buy everything in game, such is a hard lesson to learn but eventually we all probably do need to do at some point.

Honestly, I don't even feel like it's the AFK system in general that's the problem. It just feels like TGC isn't listening to us anymore and the AFK system triggered it. There are ppl who complain about ppl complaining, but as one of the ones who complain, I do it because I love this game and it feels like TGC is breaking it more than fixing it. I've played this game for a year and a half, and it's nowhere near as enjoyable as it used to be. TGC pushes so hard for us to be social, but all the funs things I did with my friends were fixed, so me and my friends don't have anything fun to do anymore. I'm just... sad. And disappointed...

The pricing is the issue and the 0 balance between free content and paid content recently- Which again, is another issue/topic. There are multiple issues and TGC doesn't really want to listen. Oh I play a 5v5 game and if you are AFK you will be banned from matchmaking from 30min to few days 😂 It can be pretty damaging. Obviously it’s a competitive game so Sky can’t be compared to it. I’m just used to such a serious punishment so this afk from sky to me isn’t too bad, consider uber take you around and you can still be afk since the clock will reset each time we hit new place. But afk totally to get wax isn’t truly possible anymore (ex. geyser) since you need to wake up every 10min (but someone can still drag your afk body around).

I think a lot of current problems with the game would be fixed, if they added in more ways to get candles — currently you have to either sit at those bloom tree type constructs or wait once every 2 hours for the timed geyser like events

I think both forms are genuinely boring - because for the bloom tree types: you need to social by talking or chatting or playing music — and if you did none of those things, then this is really the most passive and painfully slow form of wax collection - honestly, this is why people go afk near these things

The second form, I personally hate timed quests, especially when there is no reminder in game that it’s happening
So I always miss both gramma and geyser

I wish they had more activity based wax collection that ISNT timed. They have a daily limit of 20 for the candle wax anyways
I wonder why they can’t just bring back mini games like the ones that were accidentally turned on beta once

People are kinda forced to focus on cosmetics despite it being 'not the point of the game'. Because TGC has been putting cosmetics behind paywalls, (which is okay but in comparison there's only a few free cosmetics) or making cosmetics that are worth days and weeks worth of farming.
TGC wants us to express ourselves, for e.g. making all lvl1 emotes accessible. But once it comes to expressing yourself with cosmetics, it's 'you can't get everything in life'. It's feeding the whales but not the regular players with a few hours a day to play.
My only issue is just the weird amounts of iaps compared to free content, and how expensive everything has been with in-game currency

Unfortunately, in its current form it is very rudimentary… you can’t actually hide super far away and utilize and entire area… if you’re searching for another player for too long, there are no ways to give hints to the person who is ‘it’ etc

But it feels organic and fresh no matter how many times you play it! This is why when we were kids all those children games were so fun! The participants in the game are always different which makes the game feel different

In a way I can’t help but wonder, what if they introduced into sky more emotes like ‘hide n seek’ - other childrens games that gave our candle wax to participants??

Intended or not, the traveling spirit system, is in simply put terms - the way to get everything for free if you wait.

The reason why pass sales are still so high, is probably because

1. the spirits are expensive
2. the one you want, may not come for a long while
3. how frustrating and grindy candle running is

The TS prices won’t get cheaper — no matter what. I think it would be better to give up that. But I do wish event items would get cheaper - like for example, the maple 🍁 cape from the Halloween event… perhaps instead of being 99 candles it could be 75? Like standard TS capes?

For all these spirit trees, you also need to do a mandatory down payment of minimum 10 candles for the spells to unlock the cape node.. so it really feels frustrating when the event item is expensive after all that

Rainbow bridge has no advantage of disadvantage- Krill tricks however hurt the krill system, cuz krils are meant to be scary. Everything is generally easy in Sky. Krills aren't meant to be that 1 thing you're afraid of. But my problem with them is how tedious is finding and collecting lost wl again🧍 Although I guess you can say chibi fall is a disadvantage too at times, people abusing it and not helping with doors and etc. So I honestly don't know. There are three danger zones in Sky. Forest (rain), Wasteland (dark dragons), and Eden (rock rain, energy draining red rocks). The game scales up in difficulty as you go, but doesn't make you realize this.
Forcing players to be careful in realms isn't a bad thing. It is a good contrast to Sky's normal (and frankly a bit boring) gameplay where you're not in any danger.
Aside from lore reasons, Krills exist to engage with the player. Removing those tricks benefits the game greatly, despite what many people think. You were never supposed to avoid them through UI exploits, you were meant to dodge or hide from them.

I'm not trying to fight with you or even start a discussion, but dismissing the concerns and complaints of Android players by saying that they should be grateful Sky even exists for Android is hurtful. It's important to keep in mind that Android covers so many different devices, sure, but please remember that we all have the perspective and experiences of individual players, not of devs having to code for all the different device types. The opinions and experiences of someone using a particular platform aren't invalidated because their platform is more difficult to work with than another one

I think some phones might come pre-rooted. Or at least, with custom enough software that they are detected as being rooted. Thinking to my own experience with this, my old one plus stopped being able to play Pokemon Go because it detected as being rooted...
