It's more for security and Customer Relations. You don't want to be known as the console maker who allows broken games on your console. I think in the grand scheme of a candle run, the wax there is pretty insignificant. Plus, once you arrive there should be a small bundle to collect anyways. It may not be the full amount but I don't think you will notice how much you're lacking.

Or you could think of it was a little break in your trip if you wanted to collect a bit more 😄

Compatibility with LG and Huawei phones depends on model (speaking as a user of both).

Newer Huawei's that have moved to Huawei's new os likely won't be able to play sky via Google playstore, whereas older models (such as the P20 Pro) will be able to due to still being Android os.

As for LG, that depends purely on the specs. For example, my LG velvet can play sky and sky beta without issue (aside from overheating). However, older or more economy class models might not be able to play sky, simply for age and/or lack of computing/graphical power.

I could be wrong but I think these idle wax locations start to gather a small amount of wax when you enter the area. I always find a small cluster when I get to them. Similar to the bonfire in home, if I'm lighting my friends and look over there is a small wax bundle waiting for me!

Grinding is a term in gaming to describe gathering something for an extended period of time. CR is for Candle Run. So both together would be the lengthy time it takes to get all the available candle wax you could get in a day.

that is true, but when you first log in the game the bonfire slowly accumulates wax over time, but during a candle run you don't want to wait 2 hours for a geyser event to start, you just want want to collect wax and move on to the next, if they simply moved the same amount of wax to sunny forest, then that's ok since i just have to collect those instead, but this still feels like a wax loss to me, i just don't want candle runs to take so long that's all XD

My only issue is the cosmetics that are being inflated with candles. As a long time player I don't need additional candles, I would just love to get my hand on the cosmetic without paying for candles. Playing a game takes hours (sometimes days or weeks, some people get months accumulated time invested into a single game) of your lifetime from you. There is significant emotional and time investment into a game you play regularly. People have different thresholds with what they spent so much time and effort in before they let their emotions take over. (It's the same thing with any hobby. You spend countless hours making a piece of art. It's hard to hold back what you feel if it fell off the mantle and broke into a thousand pieces)

TGC gave a very specific reason as to why they can’t reduce the price of previous items when they return, there is significant backlash from the community.
And for that matter, to those people who want items for cheaper and who claim they have FOMO, understand that there are also people out there with a similar feeling, who don’t like it when they pay more the previous years, and the item returns 10x cheaper

Everyone just has different mindsets, so it’s really up to the company.

I really do not understand what people expect from TGC when I feel like they push the boundaries of what they have been doing with each update. The mischief area was terrific and unique. It was so much more than a shop there were little tricks and turns in every room you enter. So many unique spells, our first instance of interactive NPCs.

I play a game which has a majority FTP player base (the game has ads) and the way the company does IAP is pretty awful. They offer things in IAP that were previously free during events, and there has been a couple times they offer something in an event that was previously IAP. Then later it’s IAP again. They added stuff for IGC last year, then took it out and offered it as IAP a few months later. Oh, and stuff pretty much never comes back. You miss it, you miss it forever. And no one gets warned about stuff being offered in advance (or the pricing), you have to be playing the game for the 3 days it is available.

When I started playing Sky and saw the transparency of their IAPs and update notes and the value of what was offered in the AP, it was like a breath of fresh air. I bought the AP in my first week (it took me 2 years before making any purchase on the other game). I don’t buy everything, because I don’t think a cape is worth $20 to me, but I look forward to every update and am very glad there are diverse ways to earn items.

I think the requirements of TS eligibility being based on the season After ending are still in place, but it just hasn't happened as much as of late due to so many spirits being in the pool now (i.e. even though Sanctuary became TS eligible during Dreams we didn't actually get a Sanctuary TS until Assembly)

It can change, this is beta after all, with feedback things can change.
I do see a point of being unoriginal since it is very similar to the Wise Grandpa Cape but just with some touch ups and yet it isn't a free wise cape- making things fair I guess.

That said, I like the cape, if by the time it reaches live I have money for it, I'll probably buy it-
