Does anyone ever noticed or been bothered about pants that has rigid palms? For easiest example, Belonging’s boogie pants that won’t create a fist, or any Rhythm’s pants’ hands. Some of the pants that I have during this new season kinda have the same rigid palms. If I feedback them to be able at least make a fist (when doing fistbumps, proud emote, etc), I wonder if anyone’s gonna be irked…

Ngl that’s my only reason why I love donning manta suit for a year, because the fingers actually moved— although the texture bug is still ongoing

i absolutely do not gatekeep manta cape and if you remember me from month ago i actively promote for ults to return

the flight cape and the spirit specifically are designed after another creature which was supposed to represent doves in sky (c) concept arts

that cape might look similar to manta cape but it is not a manta cape, its like a dove cape of sorts or whatever we choose to call that creature, baby manta cape?

the creatures in sky share the same aesthetics so its okay for creature inspired capes to look similar that does not make them the same

this reminds me of another fun theory i had which ktjn later confirmed on being false

the theory was that tgc is bringing back ults in a form of other very similar items
or making the things that made the ults rare not rare anymore

There was a time I was dying to get bonfire but not anymore since assembly props. I think (that's just me don't care about any previous ultimate rewards) it's okay to keep them unique and bring new yet more nice looking stuffs, so people will be calm down even a little I also wish I could giveaway my ultimate rewards because I am not cosmetics enthusiastic haha. Most importantly we need more activity in the game everyone thinks cosmetics collection is the soul purpose of the game or is it?

The theory is that the props are next to or near the spirits. For e.g. the ts we just we just had, I already forgot what it was?? Crab call? Crab call is in the pipe, and the pipe is prop. The brazier is next to Juggler. The order that the props were listed in patch notes, seems to be the same order that ts is coming out, the last two ts that is. And in theory, Juggler is next because first it was chair, then pipe, and next is brazier. All is just a theory tho

You can report on your Beta Sky by just lightning them and report the hackers with the "report" button on the player's friend tree.

Reporting them in-game is the best thing you can do^^ They won't find out, and they won't be able to do anything. You won't get banned or hacked, that's just misinfo spread by them in hopes they won't get reported. Ignoring them and leaving is another thing you can do, if you won't be able to light them

I think it's cool to be a beta tester, but it's a big responsability too, we are helping live game not to be bad, and improve it, making changes that everyone (or almost everyone) will enjoy! Beta testing is not only for having cosmetics early, but to give feedback and report bugs, if you can't report any bugs because you didn't find it or another skykid already did reported it, send feedback on what you like/dislike about the season/cosmetics changes or changes in general! Some live players may not even know, but we are behind the game changes too!

I heard from a very kind Chinese person on Sky a few months ago that there's a huge network of hackers in mainland China giving a bad name to Chinese players both mainland and Hong Kong.

Controversial, but I'm not necessarily against modding. Modding is neat, and you can see it in communities like The Sims, through the modded creator content that adds to the already great games. But hacking is very bad, as it exploits the system and even players for selfish gain.

it has become also very often now not only with piggyback but also with cosmetics, I saw two times a hacker getting an immense amount of candles and recieving capes which weren't available on the shop legally, like the fur cape from Gratitude season

I encountered a hacker standing in a wall at the entrance to Eden. From my perspective it looked like they were buying packs in the shop over and over again. They were constantly collecting seasonal candles and spells. I couldn't light them so I had no way of reporting them

We really shouldn't discuss hacking here. giving attention to them only encourages the behavior, and yes this does include well-meaning warnings about the latest hacker antics. Report them in-game if you can, contact support in-game or @hardy carbon if you can't and you feel it might be an action we're unaware of yet.

I will say that the spirit gates are an inconvenience that, while I can live with, I will also avoid or bypass with every opportunity that's available to me (e.g. by flying right over or around the spirit gate in the ice rink). Yes I believe so too! Beta is ahead of Live but my understanding is it's essentially the same code that gets moved to Live.

And sometimes a bug can be hard to repro on the devs side too, or maybe a really tricky bug to fix. Since there's deadlines, it means that sometimes bugs will have to piggyback on the ride to Live game.

Trading as a whole is a delicate subject, and in my opinion it enforces more poor behavior than positive, and can lead to numerous “scams”. In the sense people trade an item of more value for an item of less.

But being able to gift a friend stuff is a bit different though. And it could require being friends with said person for a long period of time. So that in the case of maybe IAP’s, you’d trust this person enough to financially invest in an item for them

the flower caused a ton of back items to malfunction. a lot of them. there was also a major graphics bug that occurred at the same time on android that caused a lot of flashing pixels to cover the screen, but i think that was due to the update itself and not just the flower. it was very chaotic. this only happened on live, since we never tested the flower in beta

“Gifting” in general has a more positive connotation. Like I’m not allowed to by iaps most of the time so a friend gifted me the lp pass in live. I didn’t force them too (if anything I kept asking them not to spend their money on me) and I appreciate it so so much. I plan on trying to gift the flight ap to him when it comes in live. There wasn’t any forcing to trade. I trust him enough and enjoy playing with him, which is why I will gift a pass to him. If there were other gifts to give I would definitely try my best to give them to friends because I love them, not to trade for something else they have that I like.

I feel like yeah, if it pertains IAP’s, then the wait has to be longer than the 3 days for gift pass.
My reason for that is, IAP items comes in all form of price points. The AP is a solid $20 (friend pass), so it’s a fixed expense sorta. For IAP’s it’s a bit easier to lose track of how much you spend, as they could cost upwards of $30. That’s a lot of money to spend on one person.
