Regarding the reaction someone gave me, the light thing I was referring to doesn't seem related to the unusual brightness, just things randomly going from light to dark or the light source seemingly changing directions (which I assume is a wip)

So light from geyser is only picked up over the same distance from dark plants means you can't collect light without running round the geyser as all the urchins fall away from you

We used to be able to dodge Krill hugs just by flying away when they launched the attack.

Guess how many people have actually read the rules. hint: ||almost none||. Adding etiquette to the rules would tend toward encouraging some to frequently quote etiquette to others as a rule that will lead to enforcement action, rather than simply asking in chat. So the choice is between making an enforceable rule that creates a power dynamic and conflict, versus allowing members to function as a society where people assist each other, say kind things to each other, and ask each other to be kind in return. Mutual respect is already a rule in this server, and all forms of etiquette, which can be very fluid online, are included under that topic.

The only thing I don't love from Mischief is the really steep stairs leading out of the new area. You can't jump up them even when you're not chibi, so it's hard to leave the area without going home if you don't have much winged light. You can ride the one broom out, but you still have to fly to be able to get to it

@faint comet I actually wasn't on that team who designed mischief stuff (I was in Flight land!), but although we do take player requests into account, we won't lift a design directly from a fan's concept because that would be stealing! We concept everything from scratch. So even if the directive is "fans want a waffle cape" we wont go looking at a fans waffle cape concept and just make that without permission.
(I actually have personal experience here as I was a regular player before working at TGC, I had done a concept that the devs wanted to use for a previous season and so I was contacted by TGC directly and compensated for my idea! And then I ended up sneaking my way in shortly after )
