The cosmetics we are offered are just flashy items that you are in no way required to purchase, tgc still have to run one way or another and there are many items offered at different price points. If y'all remember, Sony owns the rights to the last games they made, from Flow to Journey, and took the most of the profit. There was a big deal about TGC devs struggling back in '15 because of funds, which was 3-4 years before Sky started kicking off out of alpha and into beta/live.

So I'm not surprised their prices were what they were now that they're an independent studio without any big corporate ties. The fact that they lowered their prices is a probably a sign of better financial stability
