Just my two cents on the app icon image, Events and seasons are planned way way way in advanced. it’s highly likely that these items or something very similar will be arriving to the game sometime soon, there’s no way an “unfinished”or “placeholder” app icon would get so far down the line to replace the actual App Store icon if it wasn’t scheduled to change, i can imagine there being an approval stage for it to get that far.

I think TGC will keep up the notion of making the event more inclusive so there is bound to be at least one free (Candle) item.

Same here! Dreams imho was the best season so far is terms of a healthy balance between cosmetics / story / new area. Assembly was too heavily focussed on the prop items imo which i still dont really find them being of much use. But i know so many people loved and requested shared spaces so i bit my tongue, the cosmetics were meh imo. This season is amazing in terms of story and area but all of the great cosmetics fall outside of it as separate iaps. I’m hoping the next season is more like dreams

The only reason i ask is because butterflies seem to be more prevalent in the world of sky, and it would possibly be a great season to delve into the lore around butterflies in sky. And the idea of moths and flames is a big no no lol that’s also why I’ve never understood the term for new players

An example of moths id like to see would be like the Nais Tiger Moth, and perhaps some underwings. And its more related to like the design of the cosmetics as opposed to how the lore would be expanded on in the season

I see, the nais tiger moth is so beautiful and the colour scheme is outstanding! I think the only drawback with butterfly or moth wings is how intricate they are compared to what this game can handle in terms of design. If i recall correctly the butterfly cape from sanctuary was meant to be far more intricate but the team found out fairly early on that it wouldn’t function correctly. Such a shame though. I remember when Ashley drew concept art for a monarch butterfly cape years ago it was stunning

It was stated in #beta-faq that timers are often wrong, and it was stated in both #beta-announcements and #beta-known-issues that the dev team is expecting testers to crash because there is no seasonal content in the current version of Sky Beta. New pixels aren't worth losing sleep over.

Let's be patience y'all. The new season will at least release on Live in October or near the end of September. Folks should know that TGC has spent really several weeks in order to fix the Laggy area,Crashes and other things ( Such as Black screen). So yeah, just imagine you are a Live Player that hasn't known about the New season's info, or else please read the last quotes in #beta-known-issues and #beta-announcements carefully , please give the Company time to do their best as they could for the upcoming contents.

Beta is for testing, our currency and cosmetics or anything really may be reset or changed at any time. It's outlined in #beta-faq and repeated many times over

please see #beta-faq currency resets happen. we warn players not to spend excessive amounts of time playing on beta because of resets like these.

furthermore this is not the first time we've done a currency reset, the last one occurred in June of 2020.

As Ktjn said, beta is a test environment. We occasionally will need to reset certain things in order to get more accurate data from these builds.

Testers were given 200 candles with the reset, and each and every tester does not need to be able to test everything available to us. While having things ourselves is fun, rest assured with teamwork, we can test everything together

We aren't going to entertain the currency reset topic here, there are loads to test and these things are given as warnings to testers when they decide to join testing in #beta-faq for a reason. Meh, It's a testing grounds, so it's expected. My friend played a game's beta before where things got fully wiped every few months, it's not a TGC only thing.
If you aren't ok with your progress being reset at any time, maybe its better to just spectate from Live where you dont have to worry about resets.
