It’s also just so peaceful to play music at. I sit above Graveyard plant and just practice playing until plant merges sometimes. If I’m alone, of course. Otherwise I don’t even bother since I don’t need it.

Fire, Air, Earth, than Water for me. Most to least. Fire can be speed run if you’re prepared to die a few times to quickly rush and light every two to three candles. It’s not toooo bad. You can hop out of bounds in a few places solo too.

Me and gf used to experience a problem with "medi spots” if there were other people in our server who also wanted to complete the same trial. The circle would get a lot smaller, and the other players would be teleported to the trial.
One day, the same thing happened to us and we had skipped to the air trial. There were two other people with us, and they'd completed the trial with glitches. We'd finished the trial without using any of them. After finishing them, we'd sit down at the meditation spot and the circle wasn't getting smaller. For some reason it was waiting for the other two players. This single event is responsible for making me hate every single trial. If I wanna finish any of them, I try to go there solo and skip if there are other people there.

Oh! That "medi circle not getting smoller" is happening to me and friend too. Nothing we can do untill we cut off our internet connection then turn on again

Luckily beta is usually not that crowded in the trials. The circles not getting smaller isn’t a rare thing unfortunately. Ark boat is the worst I believe with medi circles. Usually putting on airplane mode while you sit on it helps to get it work, but also risks losing servers with others.

Hi, I want to ask. I'm not beta player. But, I often see spoilers in preparation for live. I saw that during the Days of Summer, there was special traveling spirit. Does that spirit have the same system as other spirits — 2 weeks/spirit? In other words, the spirit replaces the seasonal spirit for 2 weeks. Or the spirit is just an addition, while the seasonal spirit continues as usual?

Traveling spirits will bring one new item each. Same seasonal items plus one more item for shared spaces. That is still subject to change!

I noticed today that you can chat with other players with non chat props such as the hammock and summer lights chair etc. is this an intentional change? I didn’t see it in patch notes but I thinks it’s neat. Also when sitting on these props you can see the conversations of other players on chat prop items such as tables or tea table, campfire etc. dunno if that’s intentional either. I do remember back in the day on Live we would all put out several tables so we could have larger conversations.

The ultimate gift umbrella is not possible to have in beta because Lightseekers wasn't in testing long enough for people to 100% complete the season. The smaller umbrella and the new summer umbrella are legit, but if people have the ultimate one outside of the live game, they could only do that through illegitimate means.

Also the reason why we remind people that the purpose of beta is for testing is because sometimes there will be players trying to use beta as a substitute for live because the IAPs are free, but then they might get upset when they can't complete something because of bugs, either not fully understanding or not caring about what beta is really meant for.

Also, don't worry about reporting people who might have been innocent. Tgc looks at all of our reports and investigates further to see if they need to act on them. So if the player did nothing wrong, nothing will happen to them. It's always better to be safe than sorry

-terrain bug (holes, things appearing majenta etc.
-complicated bugs (bugs requiring specific steps)

And for each category skybot asks different questions.

Hi all, I’m a new tester and have had trouble submitting bug reports with image attachments. I play on an iPad Pro, which apparently creates screenshots that are too large to attach to a bug report. Who should I contact about that? I can resize my pictures on a laptop and attach them there, but less techy players may simply skip the pictures or skip reporting altogether. Sometimes a device gets flagged as incompatible due to Google making changes to their CTS check. I would suggest clearing play store data and cache, then reboot the phone and see if it shows as compatible doing that. To do this, long press Play Store and tap the i in a circle - storage and cache - clear storage - reboot.

Is there any way that you can restart as a moth in beta like you can in live?
Over in live I tried logging into Sky using a different Gmail and that started me off from the beginning again. I am finding it amazing to see how things have changed since I started more than two years ago. It is quite interesting how some of those one-time cutscenes and even some spirit cutscenes have changed. That has me wishing I could do this in beta as well to see if any moth stuff needs to be fixed.
(most of the moths that I run into on beta now are users who have no idea of the point of beta)

Quest cutscenes are replayable, but cutscenes that are instructions on how to play aren't.

When you enter Prairie for the first time, the game shows you a one-time cutscene about the implied story of the game and how to interact with the spirits and unlock stuff in the constellations.

There's a darkstone core in spirits you burn to activate their quests that releases a single wax (it doesn't count towards your candle count as far as I know). Maybe other people started the quest in that instance and that's what you are seeing

You are still providing important data by playing and reporting these game-breaking bugs and crashes each update, and others that don't encounter the same bugs can provide more data/feedback on other stuff under testing (like the events). Even if it's not as exciting, it's just as essential in Beta and helps TGC either way

The slowmode was increased because there isn't much to test in Beta at the moment, and folks were using this channel as a general chat. I know it can be a pain, but will be reduced as needed in the future

Go ahead and try yourself! It depends on device model, os version. This is what testers are for, to test and report bugs it may work for many, but still can crash for some devices. This is the nature of potential fixes

as far as i know, the black screen is still an issue with this build, the potential fix did not work. however some of the crashes should be resolved. if they're not, please submit a new bug report (even if you filed one for a previous build already)

cyan light is actually already a daily quest, its just pretty rare. but we're getting more mediation spots, all regular spirits, most if not all seasonal spirits (i can't remember which ones we did) and some old friendship quests like hug a friend

It is also easy for me, but in comparison to Crab Call I’m pretty sure I’ve been spotted far more running Pleaful Parent. I was only spotted running Crab Call one time and I didn’t get hit since I got out of sight. Pleaful Parent I wasn’t hit on either, but I got spotted a lot walking it back and forth between the 2 krill that circle plant.

Whaaaat!? I ran it with just my Fiancé on my shoulders and carried spirit while flipping crabs myself. No need to distract krill the only place it should really spot you is on top the deck and you can time that so easily.

Agreed for doing them solo. I ran Pleaful Parent solo and wasn’t hit at all. Did get spotted quite a few times tho. As for Crab Call only got spotted once and never got hit either.

The Little Prince season, in the new build it's back to the season being active with the rose as the quest giver and the seasonal candles appearing in the realms, etc. Probably extended it a bit because they are still doing some polish to things

Upon the first release of the Summer Umbrella I was ecstatic. The size, it’s adorable sound effects, the new color as opposed to the blue of both the previous ones.

But now it no longer has the size or the sound effect that made me want to buy it in the first place. Guess this will be another IAP I pass on since the See-Saw. Before that the only thing I purposely passed on was the Halloween hat from the first year and the Halloween capes.

If you're experiencing the black screen bug, Ktjn mentioned that they tried a fix for it but it didn't work. I'm sure they're still working on it, but it may take some more time. If beta is frustrating you too much, then go play the live version while you wait for a fix
