We currently don't know the contents of the in-app purchases since they're missing. They exist in game's code, and the person accessed the content illegitimately. This is against the terms of service and is certainly not allowed to be discussed anywhere in the server as the mods frequently warn us about it.

Just skip the plant. Trust me that you really don’t need it. The chevrons, which are the little arrows on your candle, make collecting wax worth more while you have them. For example: Plant at max chevrons is like 1.5 candles or so, but by the time you have 0 chevrons left it’s worth maybe .20 to .10. If you collect wax everywhere else before that plant you wouldn’t even need it. Personally I only collect till chevrons are gone which is 15 candles and I buy out everything from events and traveling spirits, ‘cept extra spells cause I don’t use em, and I still have plenty. I’m sitting on 300+ rn.

No, you still have to watch the cutscenes all over again. However, my experience was
1.) After spending however long skipping the cutscenes, there was a bunch of lore I forgot about, so it was cool to watch them again
2.) I've found multiple glitches inside cutscenes themselves, so since you're here in Beta to find glitches, you should keep an eye out for glitches that happen inside cutscenes.
